wakusei I wish to try something.... D = 4 + H = 8 + A = 1 + R = 18 + M = 14 + A = 1 ______ 46There were...46 survivors of the front section of the plane at one point? Hm, not sure they means anything. There must be something signifigant about the title "Dharma", wouldn't you think?
well it is the name of the science project that was on the island....but there could be something more because the project seems to have died long ago.
Or maybe we only think it is dead. And they are really still experimenting.
Kalpini: Even though it is just a television show I think I'd be too freaked out to play the numbers in the lottery. Irrational perhaps, but yeah, so wouldn't play them.

Tsunuffy MeriThranduiliell I was thinking of playing the Numbers in the lottery, but that would involve finding money to buy a ticket. I'm *that* broke. sweatdrop My mom just mentioned the Numbers- I think she saw something on the news about people playing them. You should play different numbers, because I bet a ton of people are playing those ones. Even if you win off them, you'll be splitting it with a bunch of other Losties. Though, good way to meet Losties. And I'd still be winning more money than I current have. It's a win-win situation! wink

"Assign each letter of the alphabet a number so that 1 is A, 2 is B, etc. up to 26 for Z. Then wrap back to the beginning so that 27 is A again, 28 is B, 29 is C, and so on.
4: The 4th letter in the alphabet is D 8: The 8th letter in the alphabet is H 15: If you add 4 + 8 + 15, you get 27 which wraps back to A. 16: 4 + 8 + 15 = 27, and 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 = 43. 27 + 43 = 70 which gives you a R. 23: 16 + 23 = 39, which is M. 42: 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 = 66, and 23 + 42 = 65. 65 + 66 = 131 which is an A."

Yeah... Basically, with that set of numbers, you can pretty much manipulate them any which way you please. Actually, this is true of most number sets. So I don't take a lot of stock with that.
Can't you also add them up so they basically come up to 666? The first five add up to 66, and then 4+2 is 6.

Yup, we did that in one of my math classes, where you can make anything mean just about anything. But the whole point is that LOST is really messing with peoples heads rofl
