Great thinking! Explosions always make you feel better.

and the insanity continues... I can't win! I just can't win!... Here's the thing, had to move outta the old place, new place is half the size, $50 more a month, has same leaky ceiling problem as last place, no hot water because the hot water line under the apartment has holes like swiss cheese, on top of it we were only supposed to be in here a month tops and we moved in first of March... eh... still here! Going crazy... hopefully though the landlords are good on their word about the 3 bedroom house for $500/mo, supposed to be nice, said they'd live in it if they didn't have the house they're in now 3nodding I can only hope! sweatdrop

I hope that you get to move into your new house soon. Which one did you choose? You showed me two pictures before. Was it the white country one or the new looking brick one?

*sigh* Unfortunately I've been unable to obtain the funding for either of them, but our current landlords told us they've got a 3bedroom house for rent, $500/month with a yard and garage smile

That sounds pretty good. I am surprised that a 3 bedroom house could rent so cheaply. Hopefully you can get one of those houses that you were showing me sometime in the future.

Where I live, a 3 bedroom house would rent for about $900 per month. Then again, I live in a suburban subdivision.

I guess that rural property would be cheaper than suburban property. Then again, I expected Ohio to be more expensive than Alabama. We have incredibly low property taxes. I think that we are the lowest in the country actually.

Rent is about the same here for a 3 bdrm aprtment/house its about $800-$900 a month. That is Ga by the way. Scott and I missed a great opportunity, we found a 5 bdrm farmhouse with 6 acres of land for $45,000! By the time we called it had already been sold. sad

It was a foreclosure...there seem to quite a few of those right now, unfortunately. sad I don't know how I feel about that, but otherwise we not be able to afford our own house until much later in our lives. My hubby and I desperately want to get out of my parents house. Its great here but we need privacy! O_O

I am! I have lived in Alabama most of my 23 years. When I wasn't in Alabama, I lived in South Carolina and Kentucky. 3nodding
I completely understand your need for privacy. I'm not married but I am already desperate to have my own apartment or something. I also really need to graduate from college and get a job. I hate being so dependent on my parents. xp That is partly why I want to get out on my own. I still feel like a kid or something.
