Eric was on the ground cringing in pain. Earlier that month, he had taken a massive amount of darkness from a nobody girl named 'X', her real name unknown. While he took that darkness, he locked down any magic she may cast, to stop the spread of the darkness that continuously forms in and around her. Earlier that day, somehow, the spell that Eric had put on X to stop the generation of darkness broke and it backfired to great extent. He was cringing in his own darkness, no matter how much he fought back, it only became stronger mirroring him in many ways. The door to the dorm room was closed, but not locked.

Reiko knocked on the door before opening it and gasping as she saw Eric. "(Eric-san!)" She immediately rushed over to him and felt darkness pouring out of him. She paniced, not knowing what to do and hugging him. "(What's wrong, Eric?)"

Misty ran in from a portal and skidded to a stop.
"I came as soon as I could" Eric looked at Reiko, there was blood travling down from his eyes and nose. "power....backlash" he said to her

Reiko whimpered and hugged him tighter. "(What's happening to him?)" She asked Misty. "(I won't let him die!)"

Misty started to clean Eric up
"X asked him to lock away any power she has, to stop the darkness from taking her over again. The spell that he put on her mustve broken which left a almost deadly counterattack on Eric. Its not good....but I dont think hes going to die from this."Even his gloves were bloody as he reached out for Reiko's hand. It was apparant that he was afraid.

"try to keep him calm. I'll have to drain the excess darkness from him."Eric's eyes softened happy that Reiko was here.

She started to siphon off the dark energyEric groned in pain and grit his teeth in a lot of pain.

Reiko gave Eric a hug and a kiss, still worrying if he was going to be alright. "(Please hang in there.)" She bit her bottom lip.

He yells in a ton of pain. "gahhhhh!!" She stops the darkness drain.
"that should be enough"Eric was holding Reiko's hand tightly for someone his age

Reiko winced as Eric was hurt her hand as he grasped it. "(I-Is he alright now? Will it come back?)" She asked Misty, looking at Eric.

((lol i forgot to reply to this a long time ago)) "he should be alright now but its not like him to lose this sort of control, its like if someone else added power to make him lose control"Eric slowely calms down "ugh it hurts....Reiko." he slowely loosened his grip but held tight on her still.
