I hope Hermes' Moon earlier generations evolve more... or Biancamella. :3

Yaay! I have my fully-evolved Biancamella now~ <33 Now I just gotta wait for my Hermes' Moon to fully evolve.

I never got the last item for the prom. I couldn't get to the 20-round streak. x.x

So, things evolved again!
Orindae finished. d'oh, I should have guessed that it would be the frog prince. Now that they've revealed it it seems so obvious, heh. I was thrown off by the giant-sized frog... i thought that would pop, but then I couldn't figure out what could possibly come next. Overall, I'm dissatisfied with this item, and I'm selling the one I've got. *shrugs*
White Drome Egg is also done! This item has given lots of hair/skin/eyes, which is rad. The oddest one is probably the weredrome head, sitting on top of your regular body. But this is neat, I think it's a pretty worthwhile item if you want lots of options for modding your look away from the humanly types.
Enchanted Book is most definitely telling the tale of Cinderella, right now anyways. Friendly mice and birds, mops and brooms cleaning up for you, and an evil stepmother. *shrugs* I forsee pretty dresses with swoopy enchanted dust around them, and possibly a prince charming. *blech* (that's only because I don't really like having other characters next to my avvy, like a Celebrity Date).
Inari's Beads is slowly taking shape. This time it's swirly and wooshy. There's the hint of a face on the swirls, so next morph might show a more definite shape in the swirls. There's a different colored flame-y thing for by your feet (we've gotten purple ones before). I am personally hella excited about this item, and forsee lots of poses. I'm waiting for later gens to come out so I can afford one. I do have the Cash, but I'm not sure if I want to spend 3MCs-worth of real money on one item... even if it is totally kickass. (because I'll be spending money on MCs anyways, so if I use it up on an evolving item, I'm spending twice as much sad ) The evolution of this one is going pretty similarly to Fausto's Bottle (formation of cloud to unicorn) and kinda similar to Biancamella (the bead part reminds me of the sugardish/purse bit).


Also new is the OMFG box. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it or not. Most of the items inside are worth at least a couple thousand g. However, it's pretty hit or miss. It's nice that there are evolving items inside (later gens) and some other cash shop items, encluding discontinued ones... but there are lots of commons and housing items. There are a few new items, but those are mostly new colors for Cash Shop dresses from prom, the Tatsu helm, and then there's the severed head. For me, I might buy two boxes, one to open and one to keep unopened to sell later. However, you can decide for yourself. I've found two threads that might help: GCD's OMFG Box Item List and the 100 Box Test. At least check out the 100 Box test, that's pretty cool, but insane. (and I can't imagine either spending $100 or $100-worth of gaia gold @______@)
Overall, my opinion is that the box is maybe worth it, but mostly meh. It reminds me of the idea behind the economic stimulus checks... because I think the biggest effect this will have will be to drive down the prices of a few of the more expensive items by increasing the supply. (Not the actuality behind the stimulus checks, because I think most people will end up using them for bills or gas or food, not to buy huge tvs and rockem' sockem' robots and shiz.)
That reminds me of the Bag of Win. Heh. "Here's some free gold!" It's a wonderful thing we don't have taxes and bills on Gaia!!! (except the 2% market fee)
(and now that i've mentioned the lack of bills and taxes, there will be taxes...)

There are many stories like that actually. Are you thinking about Tithonus (from the Trojan War) who fell in love with Eos (goddess of the dawn) and who was granted immortality but not eternal youth? He decayed until Zeus took pity on him and turned him into a cricket (or was it a grasshopper?). Very sad tale.

I know! I'm excited finally about Alruna's Rose, but I think it's because I went to the thread where people are brainstorming ideas for the things they want it to evolve into. And we got two of those this week: the horns, and the tail. (It's the thread that keeps popping up in the top-rated threads.) Proof that developers actually do listen to ideas from other Gaians. ^^

And another new item: Furugasa, a musty old paper umbrella. With ghostly flames/raindrops. Hrm.

And there was another Kung Fu Panda item. I think I like this hat better than other straw hats we've had available to us, but I'm not sure.

Just a thought, but when the furugasa first came out, and the description said something about creepy old paper umbrella, I imediately thought of that movie, "A Chinese Ghost Story",
