I dated a guy in band like 2 years ago. It was alright. He played the tenor and was the best kisser out of all of the guys I've dated. I think it's really funny that people are referring to people they like as instruments and not people. It is such a nerdy bando thing...lol

AS it stands right now I am single, but two of my friends think i should hook up with another trumpet player(which would create all sorts of love/hate octogons)...But I like a guy who isn't in band, but he is in a band...^///^
XD I just thought about this!!!! When ever the director sees any form of PDA he says, "Awww, band nerds in love!"

Momokichi-chan AS it stands right now I am single, but two of my friends think i should hook up with another trumpet player(which would create all sorts of love/hate octogons)...But I like a guy who isn't in band, but he is in a band...^///^ XD I just thought about this!!!! When ever the director sees any form of PDA he says, "Awww, band nerds in love!" XD Its so funny!!! awww! lol! your band director's funny! um... i'm a baritone and i like another baritone. we're like so super close. i wanna ask her out, but i'm afraid it'll ruin our friendship. though, even if i do ask her out, she's gonna say "Oh, you're so CUTE!" but I don't know what she'd do after that. so... what should i do people?!

yes I met an awesome clarinet player in band class but alot happened this year (his friends kept harassing him about me) and I think he did like me at first cuz he said he did but at the end of the year (his last year at my school) I think he hates me now cuz everyone we knew teased us so much i think i caused him too much trouble so its what i deserve emo

Aww! I met the sweetest guy ever in band! I'm a saxophone player, but my teacher made me play the trombone, and, as it turned out, a really nice guy that I sorta-kinda knew was the best one in the band, so he was like, my mentor. lol After a while we ended up being good friends, and eventually progressed to where we are-- great friends supposedly in a relationship. smile
I had a friend who said band relationships don't last, but I can't really agree with that. There are so many in my band.

I think you should make an effort to look very serious when (or if, I suppose) you ask her. Don't be demanding of course, but don't give her the oppurtunity to distract herself or you by calling you cute (cuz, hey, girls do that a lot). I think, just from the way you sound here that it should work out if you're just yourself. ...YOU SOUND SO SWEET! 4laugh

I got very little band love in high school...dated a tuba for 2 weeks and that was it. But all of my crushes and best friends were in band.
AFTER high school is another story. One of my best band friends from high school (a hornist) wanted to resurrect our old friendship. So we started to hang out on the weekends more often. Things happened...5 years go by...and now we're getting married this November. 4laugh

I am in love with my band director. He is wayyy older than me. I mean he could probably be my grandpa. But still I absolutely love the man. I would have his babies. I get called a freak all the time for this, but he is just adorable. He has the prettiest red hair and kind of reminds me of an elf :]
Also word of advice to the ladies. Percussionist not the way to go, atleast in my school. He broke my heart :[
But yes, I found love in my band director biggrin

Last year I dated a trumpet player (8th grade yr) And this yr. Im dating my co-section leader (We play clarinet) I met him through pre-band camp and we both started liking eachother at BAND CAMP! lol funny how all this happened. But he is sooo sexy! lol
