My band now has 5 flutes, seeing as the one person who as been in it with me the entire time is now quiting!!! I'm not a natural born leader!!!!!!!! I can't take care of 4 other ornery girl AND myself!!!! I is scareded!!!!!!!!!

No flutes! stressed But sometimes my band director has me play my fife, which would be-- almost one since the fife is in the flute family.

At one of my schools, our teacher forced about 90% of teh flutes to switch to another instrument, so we had about 3 flutes that year. At another school, we went marching and had about 40 flutes. Otherwise, we usually have about 10-20 flutes in band.

This year we had 7 marching, 3 for advance (7th grade) band. next year we will have around 3-5 marching, and clueless for hogh school band classes which in eighth grade we get rides to the high schoool to go to. EDIT: someone just joined make that 4 for advanced!!!

We have 18 flautists in our band.
Last year it was 23 though.

Theres 11 people currently, someone will leave which makes 10... We have 61 band memebr in Full band (including percussion.) Now there gonna be.... 50? cry
