Cheremy LeBeau I've only got the first volume (DVD) so far, but I probably won't bother with the box set for now. I much prefer Negima!?, so I'll stick to watching that instead. When my brother bought the first volume, it came with a really cute storage chest and Asuna figurine ^o^ Aww, I want a figurine! I wonder what the boxed set comes with....I just want to see how it differs from the manga, and I want to freeze-frame on Negi's face surprised Also, I didn't know all the Negima!? dvd dubs were out....you buy online or something? Or maybe releases here (Midwest US) are really slow and crappily x.x

Plus, Negi's dubbed voice is priceless comedy XD I don't watch the Negima!? dub, so I can't really help you out there.

I've read all the manga that's been released in America, but I've yet to see either of the animes. Good series though, hope more comes out soon... ~*DM*~

It's funnier, but only because it's such a weird anime. It's particulary hilarious if you know the manga well.

Is anybody else up to date with Negima? Spain was a great opportunity to catch up on all my reading, so I need people to discuss the plot with before I explode (x___X)

Ah, Negima. I was a little too young to read it when i first started. xD It all started when my cousin let me read Love Hina. Then i started switching over between them.
Its definitely funny. That's for sure. Come for the ecchi, stay for the comedy.
Nodoka, Setsuna, and Yue are my current favorites. Although i forgot a lot that has happened. Its been a while since i've re-read the series. I think i read volume 18 the day after it came out. Haven't read anything related to Negima since then. Dx
I really should re-read them.

Good luck re-reading them, it'll sure take a while XP Hehe. I was fortunate enough to get a lot of catchup time while on holiday, so I'm finally up to date.
Yue is also one of my favourite characters, next to Evangeline. Chamo is pretty funny too, and Negi himself is pure cuteness! I actually read Negima! because my little brother collects it. The whole ecchi harem thing isn't something I usually go for, but I found myself genuinely enjoying the series. I guess Akamatsu knows how to balance out the ecchi with comedy and a real storyline XD
Oh, and might I ask how young you were when you started reading it? XP

Not that young thats for sure.

Eh, it's not that bad. My brother (who I mentioned introduced me to it) is a couple of years younger than me XP
It's not all bad though. In fact, Negima! is pretty softcore at twelve XD By that age, I was already discovering things like hentai (^^;; )
