"COlorguard and winter guard and marching is a waist of time. Its all about pep band music."

I Just can't wait to see you guys. It'll be awesome. ^-^ <<---(ubber bandnerd) I've had soo much fun practicing! It's our first year. But i think we can handle it no problem. anyways long story short i'm totally hyped about this thing! what was it like for you guys your first year?

Our show is called Lights Camera Chaos, after the disneyland show. We're using the music from the disney show, too.

First year I tossed a rifle, trying to toss a five, and it flew to the right and hit some girl on her head. I cried. lol I was scared that she was really hurt but she wasn't. First show was. . . . hyperventillating. lol. But after I was sad cuz our performance felt sp short and I didn't want to get off the floor. lol

hunnysbunnyissunny yay!!!! rofl i LOVE winter! its soooooooooooooooooo easy!!! this year we are doing the cat in the hat, and it is CUTE!! heart Winter Guard easy? It's the hardest part of my season. We get harder work, faster work, and everything has to be perfect because the judges are all so focused on you and not an entire band. We have to make sure all our dancing is perfect and all our work is clean. Actually, we're getting pretty good this season. I'm excited!

Oh right...
I'm from Hilliard Davidson High School and our theme is "cowboy/cowgirl"/"western"
We have so many props it's unbelievable. We have 6 eight foot cacti and a bunch of fences we all move around.

we're doing "dont fence me in"... it really sounded stupid... sol i was gonna do indoor percussion, but they ended up having a hick show too (yea big spring being the hick schol of the us... stare ) so i'm doing guard. we all get a rifle part and the show is actually gonna be pretty neat dispite what i thought. its some techno thing that i sware i heard for background music on some mary kate and ashley horse riding game... rolleyes i dunno. its pretty neat and we're getting really cool flags. and our uniform shirts are the blue checkered pattern that dorthy wears on wizard of oz..

we have like 2 and half song to learn in about 6 hour and a half rehearsals
bfore we perform it so it should be interesting how that turns out..
what is the weirdest prop u've ever used?

i am so freaking excited about this year's show. the song is escipade by the united states marine corps band. biggrin it's an awesome song and the work is actually a bit more challenging this year. our guard competes in kida, and i think we actually have a rlly good chance this year. :]
our uniforms are going to be white on top and blue on the bottom with like an orange stripe and some purple triangle or something like that. the design is kind of gonna match our floor. biggrin we might get those fitted on saturday! super exciting! i lovelovelove uniforms.
we have about 5 different flags. suhweet colors. biggrin
there's so much going on on the floor @ once too. it's gonna be guhreat!
our first competition is next saturday [not the one coming up], i believe.

im really freakin excited for the show this year we just got a new instructor and she is amazing and i am finally being recognized for my hard work. We are doing Spiderman by micheal buble it is so AMAZING my coach was like there is no way they are keeping us in this class cuz we are doing higher class work and we are throwing quads and triples on sabre and we are doing like quads and quints with rifle its amazing but quints come into the show in like maarch so we surprise people lol. oh i am from hylton....
