AntoniaMerEnfant As for the Yearbook to elaborate on my idea more: It would be more work, but we could have different photos maybe to post in a thread/in sigs. Since Yearbooks often have club picks and "voted most likely to succeed" only ours would be gaia and guild-a-fied, "Most Popular- Phantom Gifter" "Most Likely to Change Avatar..." Oooh, we could have a pic of the Mods posed as "Hall Monitors". I would be willing to put that one together if need be biggrin That sounds more like a web page than a photo though. Granted, it can probably be done with Flash and setting up links and things like that, and we can run it through a third party site by embedding it directly to the 21+ homepage so that people can find out more about us before they join our ranks, but that goes a bit beyond my capabilities. emo I'm down with the idea though, and it'd probably blow every other guild page out of the water, but We can do this same idea with the club idea, or the bar idea, or the seasonal idea as well. This isn't just limited to the yearbook idea, although I seem to perfer that one. We can do a lot of fun things with the theme that really make our guild stand out, and my suggestion is that if we go that far in depth with this, then we need to form a committee that focuses on this project entirely, but that would be something separate from just a guild photo, y'know?

Mostly I was thinking the Guild Photo would be the everyone, and if anyone wanted to adopt some siggy art people could contribute some things.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight... What I thought immediately about the yearbook idea:
I was thinking for the front picture it could just look like an open book, two pages. Eash person has a little black and white bust-up shot and their name. The names could be clickable to lead to somewhere in the guild where the details are. If someone wants to get techy and make it in flash then the pages could turn, or at least one page. Maybe the mods could be on one side and some of the silly awards are on the other side just giving a glimpse of what is actually elaborated in the guild in a forum.
Just my immediate take on it before thinking it over and seeing more of your ideas. It could be done as a picture only without outside links but it'll have to be well executed to look effective. ...and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

well, i know i am new here but i would say that the photo on the first page really made me want to check out the guild. seemed like it was be a friendly bunch of people. i really like all the ideas that have been pitched around...though being new i am not sure how much my opinion matters...lol

I like the ideas of the pub and the yearbook. I probably am leaning more towards the yearbook idea since I worked on the yearbook my senior year of high school. 3nodding Anyway, other ideas I came up with are:
Dance party/floor
Movie theatre
Stage for a production (like Grease or High School Musical kinda thing)
Department store/shopping mall
Those are all I can come up with at the moment, but yeah I'm in. Don't think I'll put my mule up there as he hasn't been all that active lately in anything Gaia related. sweatdrop

It is good to see you again, Kristine. whee I am beginning to like the idea of a yearbook photo more and more. Even if we do not necessarily decide on a specific theme, depending on what different members are nominated for, they can dress their avatars to fit the parts they play in our Guild social scene and whatnot. 3nodding
