I found a news report saying that the murderer of Sophie Lancaster has come forward.
He was only 15 at the time, doesn't sound like he could have done it by himself which only leads me to believe he had a group of people with him.
Quite possibly the other youths who have denied murder and assault, nice of them to leave their friend to take the blame.
Bloody cowards.
What annoys me is the fact they have given no name.
He needs shaming.

Tainted Deity Sinister Kung Fu When I was a kid, the older kids used to go around and spray Nair on kids who were out trick or treating. lol
I understand Nair is a hair removal product but I'm not entirely sure how it works.
What was the outcome of such a prank?
theoretically, it makes the hair fall out. But most often, it results in very nasty welts and burns from just being shot at people, instead of actually been used correctly. Nair burns VERY badly, and peels at the skin.

Rellik San Your way behind mate, named and shamed today on the radio news and his mates are having a seperate trial. Its illegal to name under 18s when they are on trial. Anyways, I heard on the radio today a girl in Liverpool was killed last night for simply being a goth. She was only in her late 20s.

Another update on the Sophie trial.
Two of the boys have been found guiltyand have been named as Brenden Harris for murder, Ryan Herbert also for murder.
They both said they were very drunk on cider, Stella and a lot of peach schnapps.

Wow this is crazy yet somehow it doesn't surprise me. In my town the "gangtsa" and the goth always fight. We hat eeachother mostly because the "gangtas" are stealing the goth fashions. But walking down the street alone is not an option for anyone that looks goth in my town..I do not do this ever.

We got a bit of a prob here in Indaina due to the high poser population. As for me and most of my friends we dont get much problems. Besides a few death threats, thats all I seem to get. Though a few weaker of my friends have been asualted. The police themselves hate us, mostly due to the ruccus of a few morons. I myself though have taken up carrying around a diato whenever i am allowed, without to much attention drawn to me. As fro the "ganstas its any easy peace, they occasionly mess with us but not too much. Cause we know how to take a puch better.

Where I live, i don't see a lot of violence towards them, but they are still treated wrong.
Most people make fun of and bother the goths, but never do anything violent (or I haven't witnessed any violent crimes).
Most of the hate is towards "emo kids", i know that for a fact.
When I dress more like a guy, I know that people are exteremely rude to me.
I don't know if they think I'm a gay guy or something, or a guy with drainpipes/"emo" boy, but people will laugh at me and jump out in front of me and all around bother me. (I am a girl, btw).
But for the most part, from what i've seen at my school and at the malls, the rap culture and rock culture stay away from eachother for the most part.
