Reddling Gray, a short fox of at least adolecent seasonage ((teenage-ish)) perched in a tree and watched a pair of beasts, a ferret and a squirrel, bound down the path. "Goodnesh meh," he murmured, brushing out his tail thoughtfully. "I wouldn't think they''d 'ave any ferrets left, wot with all this warring buisiness... time to invessigate and get invit'd ter lunch."
He slipped quietly down from the tree and hurried after them, tugging his reddish brown scarf securely around his neck and shoving his paws in the pockets of his oversized coat.
"'Hoy! Nice mornin', eh?" He called out cheerfully at the travelers.

Auron turned around and replied"Who the hell are you and what do you want?" It was mid afternoon at the time with Auron's long sword gleamed in the sun.

Forde placed his halberd in the way of the sword
"Easy now, I'm sure he means no harm."

"Nevertheless who are and why are you following us, I felt your presence a few paces back." Auron snorted as he drove his blade into the ground.

"Ummm..." Red started to say, his paws stuffed in his pockets to quit them from shaking. These beasts weren't lunch givers. They were lunch-take-and-leave-your-head-by-the-roader sorts, or at least the ferret was. He eyed the very large sword warily. "I'm just a traveluh, sah. I was wonderin' if a pair of beasts like you would be intrest'd in a new companion." He turned on his adorable little fox eyes and asked sheepishly, "Are yeh?"

Red grined and skippe after his new traveling companions. Sure, he'd have to be careful of the ferret, but things were looking up.

"How much further?" Auron asked Forde as he wiped sweat from his forhead.

"Not much further" Said Forde, wrinkling hos nose in disgust, "I can smell that damned lizard! Took 8 good tribesmen when we attacked it!"

"Alright, here it is." Said Forde as he stood at the mouth of the cave.
"There's water and fish in there, so it usually never leaves. We'll have a quick meal before hand."
