"Yup. Alex, you, seriously, need to learn to not hide things," Tohru chuckled. He couldn't help but grin as Roan spoke; he was just glad that Alex was okay! Well, for now, anyway.
"What have I gotten myself into? Hell if I know," Alex said, shrugging a little. It was weird, seeing Roan look worried. Tohru just seemed to look so relieved! It was crazy! He'd never known the two of them to be worried, even a little. "So. . .if Roan's here, and Sasha and a guy I don't know, I shouldn't be surprised if Shin comes in, huh?"
"Yeah, it involves a certain golden dog that snuck out behind my back," Tohru said, letting out a small sigh. Swear I'm gonna get that mutt! He'd never been much of a fan of dogs, but he didn't mind them so much.
"Mm. . .guess I won't try it, because I doubt you'll let me," Sasha sighed. She shifted Himeka a little, the little nurse squirming a little, so she just let her down on the ground. "If Shin doesn't come, I'll be really surprised."
"Heh. Yeah." Alex looked at Himeka curiously; she was like Karin, definitely. He vaguely remembered the twins. . .very vaguely.
Himeka ran over to the other side of the bed with the medicine cabinet, opening it up and rummaging inside it before she pulled out a little teddy bear, about half her size, and carried it over to the bed, pushing it up for Alex.
Alex blinked, watching the little nurse, then the bear, at a complete loss for what it was for. Then he understood, and he laughed a little.
"Seems like they still like you," Tohru said, laughing a bit at the sight; honestly, it was cute, in his opinion.

"If shiningai doesnt show up ill skin him. It would be surprising though, seeing as hes allways so overprotective of alex-kun" laughing a little bit, alex really did have to stop hiding things..Baka! Really though roan had expected shin to be there from the beginning, maybe he was still off with yuki nee san though.
"Aww! Thats the cutest thing ever" sailas laughing as he watched them bring out the teddy bear to the ailing boy "They must like him, I mean, its just so cute isnt it? Hes loved!" everyone else looked sorta worried, he was just happy though, not his fault the little puppet sisters were so cute! Sides hed get better right? I mean wasnt to serious...parasites..eh..tapeworms? Somethin like that it was all easy to cure kinda stuff. "Shouldnt ya try and heal im whether he wants ya to or not?" It didnt make sense to him not to try it but he wasnt gonna push on it, he didnt know these guys "Ah yeah by the way, namless guys name is sailas? Heh nice to meet you to alex" he said grinning giving him a small wave.

"Skin Shin? Yikes. That sounds just a tad harsh," Tohru said, flinching a little.
"Mm. . .guess I should," Sasha said, thinking it over. Nodding, she gently placed her hand on Alex's shoulder, letting the glow of it spread through Alex's body. It was more of a guess-and-check kind of thing, seeing how she didn't really know what was going on. After a minute, she stopped and looked at the boy curiously, wondering if it worked; even a little would help!
Alex couldn't help but relax as he felt Sasha's glow, a small disappointment in him once it was over; it had definitely ebbed away a nice chunk of the pain. But as he tried to shift a little, he shut his eyes tight, the little burning feeling running through his body; a lot milder than before, but it still hurt like hell.
Himeka looked at Alex with a worried look, not liking to see him in pain. Then she climbed onto the bed, pushing the little bear over into Alex's lap, trying to get him to take it.
Alex shook just a little before he opened his eyes again, glancing at Himeka again. Then he carefully took hold of the bear, looking over it before he he just held it in one arm. "Alright, alright. I'll take it."
"Ah. Seems like it didn't work," Sasha sighed; she really hated the whole "having-to-know-what-was-wrong" thing about healing.

"It does?" roan quirking an eyebrow at the man before smiling "Ne, im kidding of course, I wouldnt kill him...I would be angry though" shrugging a little bit as he glanced around, the healing really wasnt going to work well on alex was it? The boy seemed to have enjoyed it atleast, the pain though returned to quickly. "There trying to make you feel better is all...Its something you can cuddle and squeeze" giving the little dolls a warm smile, Himeka really did know what she was doing, smart little child.
Sailas edged off towards the door a little bit, more and more until he was leaning on the frame, he wanted to bolt the place but stayed frozen as he caught roans look at him again, shesh the guy looked like such a passivest! Not quite hippy erm..no 70's like as tohru but still passive!

"Heh. As long as the guy lives. I'd hate to see him gone," Tohru said, returning Roan's smile. He looked at Sailas curiously; the guy really didn't look like he wanted to be there. Yet it looked like Roan was keeping him there. The man only shrugged, not getting involved at all.
"Alright, I guess," Alex said, looking down at the bear in his arms before he just reached over and pat Himeka on the head. "Thanks, lil puppet girl."
Himeka beamed before she jumped to the other side of the bed, looking up at Sasha and giving her a tight hug. Then she dashed over to Roan, looking up at him curiously.
Karin came back into the room, dragging in a rather tall man with short black hair and black eyes, who was having to bend over as he was pulled. Karin eventually let him go and ran over to Himeka, tackling her sister and hugging her tightly.
"Crazy puppets. could've just let me know to come in here," the man muttered, running a hand through his hair as he straightened up. He wore a white doctor's coat, his name tag reading 'Anthony' on it.
"Ah. It's the man with several million needles! Please tell me you're not gonna be my doctor," Alex said, wanting to back away. However, all he managed to do was put himself in just a little bit more pain, wincing a little bit.
"Nope. Silvia is. She's just not here now, so I'm the substitute," Anthony explained, walking to the bed side with his hands in his pockets. "Nothing too big, honestly. Just gonna give you a few things that'll help kill that awful pain of yours. Not a whole lot, but a good portion of it. That way, you'll be able to move around a little bit."

Roan laughed a little bit at the remark, turning as the new doctor came in, it was comical seeing him dragged by the little girl "Man of several thousand needles? I take it you two know each other.." he smiled alex seemed so glad that the man wouldnt be his doctor, looking almost like he wanted to escape "Ne alex-kun are all the doctors here really that scary?" moving over towards sailas a little bit, he and sendorans pet would leave soon, he just wanted shin to show up first. He wondered how alex would react to pain meds, he knew the boy didnt like medicine in any form.
Sailas cringed at the mention of needles, he hated the things, had allways been freaked out by them, which was probably why he avoided marina..Scary little girl.. Jumping a little bit as he found roan next to him, the guy looked less tense though with the doctor in here, probably hoping that their friend would finally get some help, pain killers looked good like the guy needed him..

"Y'know, I think I could live without the shots," Alex said, flinching when Anthony's hand came towards him. Yet all the man did was put his hand on his head.
"Don't worry. Nothing of the sort. Just a little bottle of pills that should work. If not, though, you're definitely getting a shot. The fact that you don't have any antibodies doesn't help at all in your case," Anthony said. He watched as Karin rummaged through the medicine cabinet, pulling out a couple bottles of pills until, finally, there was one with a white label on it, yet only the letter "X" was on it. The man picked it out of the puppet's hands ad examined it a moment before handing it to Alex. "Here. It's simple. All you gotta do is take one every six hours. It won't completely numb your pain, but it'll definitely help."
"You have to be insane if you think I can swallow this," Alex said flatly, opening up the bottle and taking one pill from the bottle; it was about the size of a large grape.
"That's why you don't swallow it. You chew it. Unless you wanna choke. . .that's entirely up to you," Anthony shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets again.
"Devil's twin!" Reluctantly, Alex put the pill in his mouth and chewed it, swallowing it and shuddering. "s**t, this is bitter!"
"No sweet-tasting medicine works. Trust me on that," Anthony said, smiling a little. Then he looked up at Tohru, waving to the man. "When'd you get back?"
"A while ago, actually," Tohru replied.
"Ah." Anthony walked to the end of the bed, pulling off the clipboard and taking a pen out from his pocket, scribbling down something on the paper before replacing the clipboard. "Well, I've got other patients to take care of. I'm gonna borrow the twins, because I need them for something. They'll be back, though." Smiling a little, he ushered for Himeka and Karin to follow before walking out of the room, followed by the little puppets.
"Wow, that medicine seems so tasty," Sasha said sarcastically, giggling at the look Alex had.
"Maybe, if you add in a ton of sweetening or something," Alex said, tightly closing the medicine bottle and setting aside. He shifted the pillows behind him so that he could lay down before he fell back into the bed, wincing only a little; it really did help a lot. At least he wouldn't be as pained. . .but he sure as hell would rather that than bitter medicine.

"Ne, alex-kun es kawaii! " roan laughing he couldnt help it the face he made, alex swearing was almost something you never heard. "You should be happy for it, hah, the medicine will make you feel better right? Thats a good thing, hmm, not sure about you but it makes me feel a little relieved alex-kun, its hard watching you hurt" he said plainly shrugging a little bit, that face, he was an adult but when it came to this sort of thing he acted so much like a little kid, it was just silly!
Sailas frowned a little as he watched the twins go, hed liked them they were just so adorable. "Ehm, I dont think its tasty if hes making a face like that" to distracted to catch the sarcasm in sashas remark, the pills looked nasty and huge! Poor guy having to take them, was better than suffering though rai? Sure it was!

Alex nodded in response to Roan, not really sure what to say. True, it made him feel better, even if it was bitter as all hell. But he wasn't sure he cared much as he pulled the bed covers over his head, wanting to sleep but not wanting to seem rude.
"You know what? I think I'll head off back home. Besides, if Yuri wakes up, someone will need to either distract her or tell her what's going on," Sasha said, fixing her shirt before heading to the door. "I don't think I'll tell her yet. Because it's entirely up to you. Keep her in the dark, never knowing your pain. Or letting her share it with you. Isn't that what it's really about, being married? Being there for each other?"
Tohru sighed, quickly going over to Sasha and covering her mouth. "Seriously, you talk a lot sometimes. You trying to make him feel guilty or something?"
Sasha nodded her head, looking up at Tohru.
"Heh. Well, I don't suggest it. Go on, then. Distract Yuri. Just for now, until we're sure Alex'll be fine," Tohru chuckled, letting Sasha go, watching the girl walk out of the room. "I do admit, though, that she has a point."
"Shut it," Alex said, coming out from under the covers; he was trying to remember that last little part of Daniel's memory. . .that was when he'd started hurting, yet he couldn't think of why.

"Eh, what's the point of asking?" Yukiko looked around a little bit before she let her more dog-like than cat-like nose do the woork. The smell of hospitals was horribly bad to her, but, ingnoring that, she walked down to a room, still dragging Shin. It seemed there was more than one or two people there. She knocked on the door before she opened it a little, then walked in. "And there you have it."

Alex turned his attention to the door, eyes widening when he saw Yukiko and Shin. "s**t. . .I am so not here!" he said, pulling the covers over his head and refusing to come out; he could already guess how Shin would react.
"Honestly, you're like a child," Tohru laughed, watching Alex, then turning his attention to the two at the door, giving them a small wave.

"Heh, nearly forgot..thats why I love you though kitty cat!" shin said gods his memory sucked so much! He was glad to have yuki around right now, so awesome. Walking into the room with her and frowning a bit at everything. Tohru and roan and...some other guy??
He wanted to yell and scream at the guy, getting himself stuck in here and not letting them know, he didnt like to have to depend on dogs for information, the way lex was acting though dragging a small smile onto his face. "Idiot, stubborn idiot..heh ill play along though" "Wow, most everyones here, must be a party going on, wonder who its for?" smirking as he gave roan a small wave, pointedly walking over and sitting on the foot of alexs bed "Hmm, a pair of doggys told me that lex was supposed to be here, I dont see him though, sucks cause I really wanted to say hi to him"
Roan couldnt help but chuckle, the look on shins face had made him think the boy would be pissed, that just wasnt his nature though "Ne, im sure he was here somewhere shin-kun, maybe hes hiding" they were all so childish sometimes, he just couldnt be mad at them. "Ne, I think me and our new friend will go look for him elsewhere, coming with sailas-kun?" roan asked giving sailas a small tap on the shoulder.
Sailas looked worlds relieved, more than ready to get out of here, not that he didnt like being around all these people...just the whole tension intense thingy didnt cope well with him. It made him nervous and jumpy allmost. "Wait I can go now! Awesome! But isnt the guy just.." finding himself cut off as roan yanked him from the room. Shesh these guys were weird, why play games when alex was right there!
"Bye bye, well be back later kay tohru-kun" roan messing with yuki-chans hair as he left suddenly, giving sailas the 'You-shut-up' kind of look. He would let them sort out their own problems now that shin was finally here. Atleast with tohru around they wouldnt kill each other.

Alex couldn't help but freeze, his heart pounding against his chest. I. . .am. . .doomed, he thought, feeling the weight on the end of his bed. He knew, for sure, that Karin and Himeka might be able to distract Shin a little, or maybe even keep the guy's temper off him. But, he thought bitterly, they weren't here, in the room. And he had no way of trying to call them. His grip on the bed sheets tightened slightly as the now-familiar pain shot through him, though he definitely found it milder.
Tohru laughed a little in his spot, waving as Roan and Sailas left; so they were going to play along, huh? That would definitely be interesting. He'd have to make sure Shin didn't kill Alex, though; he highly doubted the blonde boy was happy with this. Who would be! Actually, I could name a few people who'd be cheering right about now, he thought to himself, keeping a pleasant smile on his face.

Shin watched roan and sailas, leave smiling at tohrus little laugh "Well atleast your glad to see me here, heh im glad I can be entertaining" shin said swinging his legs a little bit as he sat there "So lex just vanished then? Tsk, that bugs me, but its okay, since hes not here to keep my attention I might as well find something else....like maybe this?" his smile widening as he picked up the little clip board hanging off the end of the bed. "You know tohru, I never was really fond of reading, theres nothing else to do in here though, and its much better than being bored. I hope lex shows up soon..." sitting back a little bit as he started to flip through the pages.
There were to many pages, and that made him a bit angry, such a long little report on..on so many things. Shins eyes widening a little bit as he glanced at tohru nervously, wanting confirmation on all that he was reading. It couldnt be true right? Some doctor some where had screwed up and just done this for some sick joke... Taking a small deep breath and trying to ignore most of it, reading it twisted his stomach and made him almost want to turn on alex...he wouldnt though..not with the guy probably being in oodles of pain.
"Aww, did you see this tohru, poor lex they made him take medicine when he was in here, he must have hated that" he said slowly trying to sound happy and playful, the shocked expression still on his face.

Tohru's smile faded fast at the look Shin had, biting down on his lip as he simply looked away from the younger boys, not really sure what to say. He didn't want to be the one to confirm it to Shin, glancing up carefully and feeling pained when he saw the shocked look on the younger boy's face. "Y-Yeah. . .he's actually going to take it. Kind of. . .a little surprising," he replied; seeing Shin shocked and trying to sound happy. . .just didn't seem right at all; if the boy had to vent out, he should just vent.
Alex listened, shaking a little when the voices changed their tones; he could only guess that Shin finally knew what was wrong. And here he'd hoped that he could somewhat lighten the mood, even with his condition. Carefully and cautiously, he pulled the covers from over his head, sitting up and daring to look at Shin. He quickly turned away, though, seeing the shocked look on his friend's face; of all people he didn't want to ever worry, Shin was top of the list. "If you're holding things back, don't. Let it out or it'll hurt you in the end," Alex said quietly, gripping the bed covers in his hands. "Isn't that what you told me?"
