"Eh?" Yuri blinked, watched Enzai leave; what did he mean, Shin and Sasha were awake? The two of them were dead! The boy had even killed them! True, she had slightly favoured Sasha more than Shin. . .but she missed the both of them very much! Another wave of sickness washed over her, as well as a wave of exhaustion. "Maybe I'll ask Alex when he gets back," Yuri murmured softly, making her way back to her room, straight to the bed. The blanket that she had shared with Alex was still there, and instead of crawling under the covers, she brought the thing over herself and used that to sleep with instead, enjoying its warmth. Sasha arrived at the house, deciding to take a little detour. She hadn't seen Yuri in ages! And if what Tohru said was true, that'd mean that Yuri would probably be even more beautiful! Unless she was only wishfully thinking. Sasha shook her head quickly; there was just no way.
The front door appeared to be locked, and last she knew, her key to the house had vanished. Then again, she kind of expected it. Shrugging, Sasha transformed and flew over to the back, landing in the back yard and walked over to the glass door that led inside; it was open, which was kindda strange but she was really grateful for that. Smiling happily, the girl only walked inside, wandering down the hall until she reached Yuri's room. Sasha was a little disappointed to find the girl asleep, but that didn't bug her as she simply walked over to the bed and sat on it, waiting for Yuri to wake up. All the while, she glanced at her curiously; something was a little different about her. Not her look and kind aura, but something else. . .something a little strange.

Sasha sighed, lying back in the bed as she waited, a little bored. She created little spirals of water out of thin air, practicing using the powers she hadn't used in ages. She she blinked, sitting up and looking at Yuri again; the girl seemed a little strange, maybe even sick. Gently and carefully, she put a hand on the girl''s forehead, a little surprised to find a fever. "Huh. Would you look at that," she said softly before smiling a little and concentrating. Then, her hand glowed a light blue colour as she began to ebb it away. Yuri shivered lightly, opening her eyes but unable to really make sense of anything; the glow she felt was warm, and kind of familiar. It also seemed to be taking away some of her sickness. Slowly, things seemed to become a little clearer. Then, she began to become aware that there was a hand on her head, quickly sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, still a little confused. Sasha blinked again, looking at Yuri curiously; she knew what was making her sick, but did the girl know? Shrugging, she simply smiled. "Good morning, sleepy head," she said happily, hugging Yuri suddenly. Yuri nearly fell back, a little out of it. It took another minute to realize who was hugging her, and she positively beamed, hugging Sasha back just as tightly. "I can't believe it! You're really here!" Then she realized something, pushing Sasha away from a moment. "You are really here, right?" "'Course I am, silly!" Sasha said, sticking her tongue out at the elder girl childishly. Then she tilted her head to one side, looking over Yuri. "Do you have any idea why you're sick?" "Err. . .fever?" Yuri said, more asking for confirmation than saying it. "Didn't think so," Sasha sighed, shaking her head. Then, she bent over and whispered something in Yuri's ear, sounding just a little excited and smiling happily when she sat back. Yuri's eyes widened as she listened, looking at Sasha as though she were crazy. Though the girl didn't appear to be lying, she still had her doubts. "I may be crazy, but I don't lie. It's true! I can't believe you didn't notice. And here I am, just revived from the land of the dead, and I noticed pretty quickly," Sasha shrugged, before suddenly hugging Yuri again. "You have no idea how happy I am for you!" Then she looked up at the girl's face. "But just how are you gonna explain to Alex, anyway?" "Hmm. . .I guess that is a problem," Yuri said, really thinking about it. Thens he shrugged it off, simply holding Sasha's hands in her own. "More importantly, welcome back! How does it feel, knowing you've missed three years of life?" "Eh. . .like crap," Sasha admitted, looking away from Yuri for a moment, then looking back. "So, I hear you're the one who changed my messed-up clothes. You mind explaining what happened in the last three years? And that's this I hear about a certain marriage to a certain idiot adopted brother?" she asked slyly. Yuri blushed lightly, not really sure what to say. She'd truly missed Sasha, but how was she supposed to explain things? "Erm. . .well. . .Sendoran's out and about, as I'm sure you can guess. And yeah, I'm married to Alex now. Ah. . .how's Shin, by the way? Is he up, too?" "Yup." "Heh. That'd explain why Alex was so happy." "Yeah, it would." "Ah! Would you like something to eat? I'm sure you're hungry," Yuri offered, getting off the bed and fixing her clothes a little. Then she looked back at Sasha, ushering for the girl to follow as she left the room. "We sure that's not you wanting to eat?" Sasha asked, laughing a little as she followed Yuri. The two girls wandered over to the kitchen, the table already set with the food Yuri had been planning to eat with Alex. "Heh. I've got leftovers if Alex gets home hungry," Yuri said, picking up the plates of food and putting them into the microwave, setting the time for a few seconds. As soon as they were done heating, she took them out again and put them back down, smiling happily. "Eat up!" "Thanks for the food," Sasha said, beginning to eat; it really was delicious! She had no idea how much she'd missed being "alive." Though she was glad for it. "You're a good cook. You've been practicing, huh?" "Yeah I have," Yuri said, beginning to eat as well. She'd really missed Sasha. True, she'd also missed Shin. But Sasha was easier to connect to. Kind of like a long-lost sister!

Sasha and Yuri sat talking, the table long-since cleared. The two simply talked, catching up in three years time. . .at least, Yuri did. "Hey, I have a question; what ever happened to Enzai?" she asked, looking at Yuri curiously. "Ah. Enzai's still alive. He's not too fond of Sendoran, but he's also still hostile. Hasn't been attacking anyone, though. 'Cause he doesn't have any powers now," Yuri explained as she got up from the table, walking over to a cupboard and pulling out a glass, which she filled with water. Then she drank some of it before looking back at Sasha. "In all honesty, you haven't missed much. Ah. . .Sendoran has a few new minions. Enzai's old minions don't do much, either. Though you couldn't call them friendly." "I bet. So Enzai's alive, huh? Somehow, that irritates me. He deserves a slow, painful death!" Sasha said for the umpteenth time, sighing and simply resting her head on the table; it really sucked feeling left out.
Alex arrived back home, stopped at the front door and biting down hard on his tongue to keep from yelling out. All the way, that obnoxious ringing had gotten worse, and he hadn't a clue on how to get rid of it. Maybe Roan was right; if he went after Miki, it seemed nothing but pain would be accomplished. Sighing a little, he put his hand on the doorknob and turned it, glad to find the door unlocked as he walked inside, shutting the door as quietly as he could. He though he heard some noise coming from the kitchen, though he didn't bother with it as he simply walked on down the hall towards his bedroom.
Sasha blinked, looking towards the living room, focusing on the front door; she could've sworn she saw someone walk in. Though she knew she definitely heard it. "Ah. Alex is home. Don't think he's hungry, though," Yuri said, a little disappointed as she simply shrugged, setting her empty glass down on the kitchen counter. "Wanna go bug 'im before he goes to sleep?" "Alright," Sasha said happily, standing up from the table and following after the elder girl out of the kitchen and towards the couple's bedroom.
Once inside, Alex went straight to the closet, as much as he wanted to rest. He pulled out a plain white T-Shirt, as well as a pair of black pants that were comfortable enough to sleep in, changing into them, out of his outdoor clothing. As he shut the closet door again, his head pounded again, and he rubbed his forehead with the back of his hand, walking back over to his bed, where he sat; if he had to guess, he'd say that the two people in the kitchen--probably Yuri and a guest--were going to greet him. Though he didn't think he really wanted to; he didn't think he could actually keep staying awake.
Yuri led the way to the bedroom, stopped at the door frame and carefully peeking in it; there was Alex, just sitting there on the bed. He seemed a little troubled, almost hurt. The girl blinked before putting on a warm smile and walking over to the boy, sitting down next to him. "Hey. . .you alright?" she asked, looking curiously at the boy. Alex looked at Yuri, noting her curious look. He really didn't want to worry the girl; he seemed have a list of people not to worry. "Yeah, I'm alright. Just a little tired and have a small headache," he answered, returning the girl's smile. "Honestly, I'd have to say that your lying skills haven't gotten any better," Sasha sighed, peeking into the room. She smirked a little, spotting Yuri and Alex together; it was hard to believe they were married. Shrugging it off, the girl walked in front of the two, bending down so she was eye-level with Alex and examining him. "You are definitely not alright." "Definitely," Yuri agreed, nodding as she folded her arms and tried to determine the problem. "Damn. It's the talkative duo again," Alex sighed, rubbing his eyes; right now, he didn't really care. The only thing that was keeping him awake was the stabbing headache he had and the obnoxious ringing in his ears. In all honesty, he couldn't quite describe how he felt. "Talkative? Mmm. . .maybe just a little," Yuri admitted, smiling. Then she looked closely at Alex, her face about an inch from hers. "You're hurting, aren't you?" "Eh?" "Yup. He's hurting," Sasha concluded. She put her hand on Alex's forehead, finding a small fever. Smiling a little, her hand glowed the same light blue colour it had done when she was getting rid of Yuri's. The fever easily disappeared, though there was something else that was wrong, and she knew it. "Alright, spill it; what else is hurting?" "Nothing else," Alex answered simply, hoping he wouldn't be discovered again. "Liar!" "Dammit, just leave me alone!" "You're so stubborn! It wouldn't kill you just to tell us about your problems. We might even be able to help!" Sasha frowned, crossing her arms and pretty much glaring at Alex. "Why do you even care of a sudden? Besides, it's not like it'd do any good," Alex snapped back. He then winced, putting one hand on his head and letting out a small groan; that ringing in his ears was getting worse, he almost couldn't see clearly. And fighting with Sasha was definitely not helping. "There, you see? Does that honestly look alright to you?" Sasha asked, feeling a little annoyed. "Shut up!" Alex winced again, shutting his eyes tight against the building pain. "Um. . .I think we should really just focus on doing what we can now," Yuri spoke up, putting an arm around Alex and drawing him into a hug, holding him like how a mother would hold her child. "How about you crawl under the covers and rest, 'kay?" Alex wanted to say 'Okay,' but a sharp stab was sent through his body, almost similar to when that obnoxious little thing around his heart acted up. He simply shut his eyes tight against the pain, wishing more than anything that the ringing would stop and panting just a little. He nodded in agreement, though, breaking away from Yuri and crawling under the bed covers, laying down. The bed. . .was really soft. It made him realize just how tired he was, and also made him wonder how he'd managed to even stand up as he simply closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. Yuri sighed, resting her chin in her hands. "You know, I really think he should tell us what's wrong. But forcing him won't do any good. It just seems to hurt him more," she sighed, looking at a rather irritated Sasha. "Yeah. . .Yeah, I guess you're right," the girl finally agreed, nodding a little as she crawled on top of the bed, leaving a space between her and Alex. "He's hurting. And I think I know how. 'Cause when I got rid of his fever, there was another issue." "He had a fever?" "Yup. But that's besides the point. The point is, though, that there's something else. I think. . .he might be getting a headache, definitely. I mean, I can't really blame him," Sasha shrugged, glancing at Alex before looking back at Yuri. "This might be a little weird. . .but he might have this constant annoying ringing in his ears. That's probbly also hurting him." "Uh. . .yeah it's weird. So you're telling me my husband could be going insane?" Yuri blinked, a little curious now. "No, no! Nothing of the sort. I don't really know what, but I think. . .I think something might be happening alongside this whole Sendoran mess." Sasha sighed, lying back on the bed and staring at the ceiling before she rolled onto her side, closing her eyes; she felt tired, strangely. Yuri looked at Sasha as she fell asleep before she looked back at Alex; even as he slept, he seemed to be in pain. Somehow, that saddened her a lot. Letting a small sigh escape her, she crawled over beside Alex, right between him and Sasha, and lay right beside him, putting an arm around him and bringing him close. She truly hated seeing him in pain, wishing everything would just return to normal. She'd planned on telling Alex, though seeing him hurt like this, she didn't think she wanted to see his reaction. Another soft sigh escaped her as she carefully bent over Alex and gave him a kiss, then lay back and closed her eyes, finally drifting off to sleep.

Alex stirred a little, opening his eyes and glancing around. He wasn't really all that surprised to find the two girls asleep as well. Then he glanced at Sasha for a minute; he still didn't really feel like talking to her again if he was going to end up in another argument. Next he looked at Yuri, who was sleeping next to him; it felt a little weird, being clung to like that. However, he only smiled and carefully sat up, taking the girl's arms from around him and running a hand through hair before gently kissing her on the cheek. Then he got up out of the bed, careful not to wake up either girl as he wandered over to the closet, which he opened up again and took out a fresh change of clothes.
Alex then walked over to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him and turning on the shower to about as hot as he could take it. Then he undressed and stepped inside after setting aside the fresh clothes, letting the water wash down on him. Miki arrived at the house again, going to the room that she'd been introduced to at first and opening the window, climbing into it. Sighing, she took off her shoes and sat down on the bed nearest the door, listening around the house for some noise; the only one she could hear was running water, though she simply shrugged and lay back in the bed, her hands behind her head; she didn't bother closing the door, figuring it was only the owner. Alex got out of the shower a while later, dressing into his clean clothes and fixing his hair as best he could, though he didn't bother drying it all that much. He simply retied it before gathering his dirty clothes and dumping them into a little laundry basket in the corner of the room, walking out. The two girls were still asleep on the bed, and he found it a little cute. Quietly, he walked out of the bedroom and shut the door behind him, walking down the hall to the living room where he sat down on the couch, getting a little lost in thought. Miki blinked; she'd seen a spot of blue out of the corner of her eyes. "Wow. I'm lucky here," she said, smiling pleasantly to herself as she sat up, got up from the bed, and walked out of the room, glancing at where Alex had stopped in the living room. He seemed to be a little occupied in thoughts. Smirking, she walked up to him and put on a small smile. "Konnichiwa. And may I ask who you are?" she asked innocently. Alex blinked, turning his head; his heart skipped a beat when he saw Miki. "What in hell's name are you doing here?" he demanded, calling his necklace to his hands. "Relax. I won't hurt you. So apparently you live with someone, huh? Ain't marriage lovely? And yet, it gives both of you a HUGE weakness. Guess what that is!" Alex positively snarled, tightening his grip on his necklace as it turned into a dagger, which he then swiftly put right at Miki's heart. "If you even try and hurt Yuri, I will make you wish you'd never even met me!" "Again; relax! I'm not going to use such a cheap trick. I could take you on without it." Miki simply pushed the dagger away, running a finger along it and putting a finger on the jewel. Instantly, the thing turned back into its little necklace form. "I've been to see that man you call a brother. Oh, yes, I do know about that," she added in response to the shocked look Alex had. "I know a lot about you. Why? 'Cause I had to hunt you down, that's why. So I have to ask, how does it feel, having half the power of the most powerful magician in history?" she asked. "What's your goal, anyway? You've yet to tell anyone! And why are you even doing this? Don't I even get a choice?" "Not unless you'd prefer death." "And why would I die?" Miki sighed. "Geez, you're stubborn. You'd think that trait could've been left out," she muttered aimlessly before reaching into her pouch, pulling out a slip of paper and a kunai. She knelt on the ground, putting the paper beside her, and gripped the kunai tightly. Then she put a finger to the point of it, cutting herself just a little before setting the weapon aside and drawing on the ground with her blood an eerily familiar symbol; a star in the center of a circle with bizarre symbols on the outer edge. "H-Hey! What're you doing?" Alex demanded; his body didn't seem to want to move as he simply stood there, watching what the girl did. "Teaching you the hard way of what'll happen if you don't remember a thing," Miki answered, finishing up the symbol. As soon as she did, it glowed. As it glowed, a dark thing emerged from it; a pitch-black snake with ruby-red eyes that slowly formed on the ground over the symbol. As it finished, it glanced around the room, first at Miki, then at Alex. It hissed, carefully slithering along the ground towards the boy and carefully using an invisible thing to slither up to eye-level of him, staring at him. Alex stared right back at the snake, taking a step back and sitting on the couch, unable to keep standing; there was no way this could be happening. . .just how in the world could Miki do a thing like this? Yet as the familiar pain in his chest acted up, he realized she wasn't really kidding. Still, though, as he looked into the eyes of the snake, he couldn't help but feel that he'd seen it, not with Dairen, but somewhere else. A small scene flashed through his mind; a white-haired man and a white-haired demoness were fighting. The man seemed exhausted, hovering in the air with pure white feathery wings. The demoness was hovering with two little black balls of what appeared to be energy in her hands. She threw them at the man, and he took the hit directly, the wings vanishing as he fell to the ground, a cushion of air breaking his fall. "Come on, Daniel. I won't kill you if you give up," the demoness said, a pitch-black blade with gems forming in her hands. Alex put a hand over his heart, glaring at Miki before the necklace in his other hand turned into a dagger again and he slashed at the foul snake, cutting it in half and making it disappear. "Oh, wow. You're got pretty good instinct there," Miki said, clapping a little bit before she wiped away the useless symbol. She yelped as Alex suddenly pinned her to the ground, that dagger of his at her neck. "Why don't you get it? I don't give a damn if I die or not! I honestly don't give a damn about who Daniel is, either! But if he's making my life a living hell, then I'd rather he didn't exist!" Alex growled, holding the dagger tight; he didn't care how she'd managed to turn the thing back into its necklace form. He didn't care how she'd managed to even track him down! In all honesty, he was getting sick of all of it. "If you'd rather death so much, then fine!" Miki pushed Alex off her, standing up and fixing her clothes. She picked up her kunai again and threw it at Alex, catching the boy off-guard. Alex landed hard on his back, barely managing to get up and dodge the strange little knife, backing away until he hit the front door. His heart beat against his ribcage as he carefully put a hand behind him on the doorknob, turning it carefully and waiting for the timing. Miki grabbed the kunai again, gripping it tightly and throwing it at the boy again; she was really irritated! Why didn't he get the fact that it wasn't a choice? That it was just a matter of fate? Alex quickly opened the door and dashed outside, making sure he shut the door behind him. As he did, he heard a small thud! on the door, a sign that the kunai had hit where he had just been. Letting out a shaky sigh, he dashed down the street, figuring it wasn't safe anymore to stay home. Miki let out a frustrated yell; he'd outsmarted her! She honestly began to hate this more and more. Grandpa had been right; this mission was a lot tougher than it seemed. Taking a deep breath to calm herself a little, she grabbed the kunai off the door and stepped outside, shutting the door behind her and following off in the direction Alex had gone.

Yuri stirred lightly in her bed, letting out a faint groan as she opened her eyes; once again, she felt sick. Though at least now, she knew why. Carefully, she pushed herself up into a sitting position, glancing around; she felt a little out of it, though she could definitely tell Alex wasn't there. Then she turned on Sasha, the girl still sleeping. Wanting her to be awake, Yuri nudged her. "Nngh. No! Go away," Sasha mumbled, curling into a little ball where she was, trying to ignore the annoying nudging. Sleeping for three years, it seemed to become a habit. Eventually, however, the girl opened her eyes, wanting to tell off whoever it was who had been nudging her, only to find a rather pale-looking Yuri. "What's the matter? Sick again?" "Y-Yeah. . .just a little," Yuri admitted, running a hand through her hair. She didn't really notice when Sasha put her hand on her forehead, the familiar glow taking away her sickness again; she let out a small sigh of relief. "Thanks." "Anytime," Sasha said, smiling happily. "Ah. So, I'm guessing Alex disappeared. Again. He still does that?" "'Course. And you get to see what happens when he's gone for too long," Yuri said, a little mysteriously as she laughed, getting up from the bed and wandering over to her closet, opening it and pulling out a fresh change of clothes for herself, as well as for Sasha. "Here. I doubt it'd be nice staying in the same clothes for three years straight." Sasha's eyes widened a little, then she cringed, making a face. "Ewww. Are you joking? Then forgive me, but I'm gonna steal your shower for a good two hours," she said, catching the clothes and getting up from the bed as well. She examined the clothes, quite glad with the choice; a black and white striped T-Shirt and a jeans mini-skirt, as well as some white socks that looked like they'd come up to about her knees. "And hopefully, I'll fit into these." Smiling, she simply walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her and setting the clothes aside. She glanced around a moment, spotting fresh towels in a corner and picking one up before undressing, turning on the shower and walking in; it'd been so long since the water ran down her body, and it felt absolutely wonderful! Yuri laughed a little, sitting on the edge of her bed again with her fresh clothes, simply singing a little tune to herself, part of her hoping Alex was alright, part of her extremely glad to have Sasha back.

Alex couldn't help but feel excited as he flew, enjoying the feel of the wind as he flew. He was a little saddened, seeing his home down below, flying down to it and landing in the backyard, getting rid of his wings almost instantly; he could have flown without them, but they were a little faster than without. That, and he needed the practice, glancing up in the skies for Shin and Yukiko.

"Yeah, well. . .it was either that, or rebuild the old house. Which is still a pile of dust, actually," Alex answered, laughing a little nervously before walking on towards the house. He hesitated at the glass door a moment before leading on inside, looking up and down the hall before ushering for Shin and Yukiko to come in. "Heh. Just don't have things I need to repair it again. It's a shame, too. Had such a nice view." Yuri looked up, stopping her singing; she'd heard a voice in the house, as well as felt the presence of someone else, taking one guess at who it was. Smiling, she got up from the bed, walking to her bedroom door and peeked out, carefully staying hidden as she saw Alex, guessing that he had brought someone with him.

"Eh? Ah. . .last I checked, they were sleeping in the main bedroom," Alex said, thinking just a little. He barely knew what was coming, feeling himself suddenly pushed down to the ground, barely managing to create a small cushion of air but still landing hard. "Oww. . .again with the sudden attacks. . .I think my head's spinning now." He was laying on his back, wincing just a little before opening one eye, finding a rather excited Yuri sitting on him. "'Bout time you got home," she said, smiling happily. She carefully bent down and gave Alex a kiss on his lips, breaking away after a minute. "Haven't you learned the consequences by now?" "No, I don't think I have," Alex answered, sighing and at least managing to pushing himself up on his elbows, glancing up at Shin. "You see what I mean? She tackles me! And when I'm not looking, too." "It's a small price to pay when you're married to me," Yuri shrugged, staying where she was.

"Ouch, that looked painful" shin said smirking as he watched alex tackled to the ground by yuri, the girl really was scary! "I see what you mean lex, it really is cute though!" thinking that yuri would stay there and keep alex pinned until the boy couldnt stand it, this was all to funny.
"Ah, yuri, long time no see huh...did anyone ever mention lex is really bad at telling people things" he said giving the girl a small wave, basicaly saying hi.

"Don't say that! She'll do it even more!" Alex groaned, letting himself lie back down on the ground. "Like I said; I'm getting carpets for these floors if you keep doing that!" "Aw, but carpet's worse. 'Cause if there's dust in it, then it'll all go up when you stomp on it," Yuri said, smiling innocently before getting up off of Alex finally. Then she looked up at Shin, a little surprised at first to see him, but quickly getting over that. "Yeah he's bad at telling people things. Sorry, I haven't managed to fix that part of him. Did manage to get him to eat more, though." "Now how does making me eat until I'm sick count for anything?" Alex murmured under his breath, sitting up. He let a small "Ow" escape him when Yuri flicked him. "Hush, you. You're exaggerating. And I'm not that mean, either," Yuri said, frowning a little before, unable to keep upset, simply giving Alex a tight hug.

"She will, well then I should keep encouraging her shouldent I? Heh come on lex you have to love it just a little bit.." beaming as yuri told him shed managed to get him to eat more "Wait seroiusly! Heh thats awesome, and kinda crazy because that means you actually listened to me, that makes me pretty happy!" Shin nodding as he agreed with yuki "Youll get over it lex, heh once you get used to eating" sure his friend was exaggerating but also sure that yuki could be mean if she wanted to, the girl had allways managed to keep alex in one piece.

"'Course I actually listened to you. You didn't think I would?" Yuri asked, more than a little surprised. Shrugging it off, Yuri gave Alex another kiss on his cheek before standing up. "I think I'll go make something for us to eat, actually. A small snack!" Singing softly to herself, she walked down the hall, through the living room and into the kitchen, wandering over to the fridge and pulling out the ingredients she needed, getting to work. "Getting used to eating is something that will never happen. 'Cause I never had to eat much." Alex sighed, staying down for a minute longer before he, too, stood up. "So. . .we found one demon. Where's the second one?" "Right here." Sasha stood at the door frame of the main bedroom, looking at Alex. Then, a spiral of water created, shot out at Alex and wet his hair. "You're cruel. And you speak so lovingly of Yuri, you know that?" "The female population that I know of is slightly evil, that's for sure," Alex murmured under his breath, moving his wet hair out of his way. "Full house once again. At least it's only three extra people."
