~Stormsong padded over to the hole dug in through the snow, now overfilled with freshly caught prey. She craned her head down until the tip of her muzzle brushed across the soft brown fur of a mouse. Still warm....still fresh.....fresh with death.... The she-cat thought and gave a satisfied smirk, her blue eyes curious as to where Sharkhail was. Stormsong could hardly wait to find out who was the winner of their hunting competition. Her slender shoulders grew tense with determination, her gaze utiluized with what appeared to be some sort of unknown intensity. Her jaws clamped out three of the mice, holding them by the tails. Stormsong slung the limp body of the plump rabbit she had caught around her neck and cupped her paw so she could manage to carry the two birds. She sunk her claws in through their tail-feathers to get a better grip before sauntering off to the camp. Her gait was not elegant this time, but awkward-looking, as she struggled to balence out the prey so she wouldn't end up dropping it all in the snow. The she-cat's hooked teeth gleamed with the fresh blood of the recently killed animals. Her gaze swept across the snow forest that was left bare with the presence of winter. Stormsong swivelled to the left and headed into the SeaClan camp, dropping her prey on the ground so it was seperate from the fresh-kill pile. That way she could get an exact count of how many animals she had hunted.~

~After Stormsong set her pile of prey underneath the shady leaves of a bush, she darted back out from the camp and into the forest. Sharkhail was probably still clearly hunting, which she could tell since the other she-cat's scent didn't seem to be near the camp. Of course, she was only guessing, and wasn't completely sure. Her white-dappled paws silently drummed against the snowy ground in rythmatic motions, like a parade of silence, as she swivelled through the trees. Stormsong still had much more energy in her, which she could feel radiating through each muscle and tendon. Yet she ignored the hunger beginning to throb at her stomach, concentrating only on hunting. Her blue eyes, the same pale shade as ice, began to sweep past her surroundings again in search of prey. Stormsong was the type of hunter who killed in complete silence, not muttering to herself, not even saying her thoughts aloud unless it was completely neccesarry. She managed to kill three rabbits with her usual hunting method: a quick pounce, the flash of claws, and a final neck-breaking bite to the throat.~

~Her jaws were firmly clenched around the limp shapes of the three dead rabbits, yet each rabbit had several things in common now: they were all dead, and they all had bitemarks in the back of their skinny throats. There was a visible smile curved at the edges of the she-cat's muzzle, as if she were smirking rather than having your average feline smile. Stormsong paused to sharpen her claws against the cold surface of a stone. Her claws were already thorn-sharp enough as it was though, coming to deadly hooked points at the end like the curved talons of an eagle. With unusual claws like these, it wasn't hard for Stormsong to tear open the throat of an enemy. But of course, it wasn't like she killed often anymore, since the act of killing was considered dishonerable for a warrior. Her ears pricked straight up into the air when a familiar milky scent wafted towards her, a certain scent that was recent as well.~ "Lilykit....?" ~Stormsong said, although spoke her statement more as a question. Her meow was a low growl, one that seemed more feral than your average cat. Stormsong's mew always sounded that way, but with a sharp soprano edge. A low hiss rose up in the back of her throat as she realized which direction the kit was heading in.~ "Kits! Always heading off to get themselves in trouble!" ~Stormsong growled in frustration, scraping her claws angerily across the ground. Without any hesitation, she headed off into the shadows, racing towards the NightClan border.~

[The fiery warrior turned to Cloudfang when she asked her about her own injuries. She had almost forgotten about them as she looked down at her wounded shoulder.] "Well it's nothing like Freezeshadow's. I guess not much poison was injected either, but i did rip the flesh i guess when i yanked the snake off so harshly. My only regret is that i didnt toss it around more." [She smiled slyly at the medicine cat as she spoke.] "Do you think i will be able to leave soon without the other cat's nagging me to rest? I want to go hunting by the river." [She said as she tilted her head curiously, obviously bored. Her attention never seemed to last long nor her ability to sit still.] I already know the water must be freezing by now, but if i can still try to learn to swim... I can handle the cold! [She smiled slyly to herself as she thought.] Well if it has frozen over already at least i dont need to worry about the other cats thinking i cant swim! I can just walk on the ice. hhehe
