 Hailkit flexed his claws and thought about it for a minute. "It's a better idea than I can think of," meowed Hailkit as he jumped back out and started to watch the shadows of fish. Raising his paw, claws unsheathed, Hailkit watched the fish dance in the water. Then, one was particularly close to where he was sitting. Hailkit quickly flopped it and it landed on the riverbank. "Hey, get back here!" Hailkit yowled as he chased the flopping fish.

Alway's Active... ...like a streamϚʈɾеɑmӄɪʈ [Streamkit laughed as she watched her brother trying to catch the fish. She swam around in the water looking for as fish.

Hailkit tried to bellyflop on the fish to get it to stop moving but it didn't work. Instead, the fish flopped out from under his belly and continued to flop about. Hailkit managed to grab the fish's tail with his teeth and hit it against a tree. The fish finally stopped moving. Realizing what had just happened, Hailkit squeaked with pure joy. "Streamkit! I caught one! I can't believe it! We gonna be apprentices! Only one more to go!"

Alway's Active......like a streamϚʈɾеɑmӄɪʈ ["YAY!" Streamkit shouted and jumped in the air only to land back in the water on top of a fish. That was shear luck. She used her stubby claws and scracched it up until it stopped moving."I did it!"]

"What do we do now?" Hailkit couldn't believe it. They hunted and actually got something back. Nothing bad happened, either. The forest was so, so pretty, and the river was really, really cold, and everything was just so, so good. Hailkit felt revitalized after he realized that they could be apprentices soon, but he then realized something. "What we gonna do 'bout Fishkit? Should we get him one?"

"Yeah, you got a point there... I almost feel bad, but I guess Fishkit just sleeps too much." Hailkit was sitting still, reveling in his accomplishment, but then he started to think all about today. "Hey, Streamkit. How long have we been out?"

"I hope Mom isn't mad that we left. We can show her the fish we caught!" Hailkit was very excited to show his mother the fish, so he grabbed it and put it next to him. He then decided to grab the fish again and walked to the entrance with it in his mouth.

Hailkit padded into the nursery with the fish in his mouth. He put it down and was trying his hardest not to make too much noise or Fishkit would've woken up. Hailkit didn't see his mother, so he waited for Streamkit to come into the nursery. He went to her and asked, "What do we do now?"

"We caught us some fish! Look, Mom, we got fish!" Hailkit then grabbed his fish, which looked like sandpaper was used on one side and it was completely untouched on the other, and plopped it at his mother's feet. "Do we get to be apprentices soon? Can we, can we, can we?"
