They find her cowering in a small ravine some 100 yards away. Her dress is torn and she is weeping hysterically. There is only one way she could have gotten there so quickly. And Luceil understands how upset she must have been to have done it. And how much pain she must now be in because of it.

She sobs and shakes her head in negation. "You... you don't want me... no one wants a cripple along... no one."
Igniska steps forward with a bark of laughter. "Cripple smipple... so ye can't fly... so what... there's a lot of creatures who can't fly and I still like them... of course most of them I like in my tummy, but hey, I like some of them for other reasons, too. Ye got a brain, don't ye? Then use it. We didn't have to invite ye. Heck. I actually thought twice about it meself... but not because ye might slow us down. I really don't like Luceil spending all his time with another female."

To his surprise though, Coriander reacts more positively to Igniska's rant than she did his gently consoling.
"But he likes you... a lot... why would you be jealous of me?" snorts Coriander with real laugh burbling up out of her chest.
Igniska shrugs. "Cause you're pretty and yer smart... and you can talk to him about stuff I can't."

Coriander stares at her in open mouthed surprise. "I'm... I'm pretty..."
Igniska shrugs. "I've never seen you any other way... only as a human, but yeah... you are. Heck, I can see you ha trouble with your back, but you don't let it get to ye and what guy is going to look at a girls back when he can look at her face? You're beautiful... me..." She dissolves into a shower of sparks, revealing a red-haired freckled faced tomboy, all arms and legs, with very little curves.
"I'm a stick..." she adds lamely.

Suddenly an unfamiliar giggle catches his ear, growing louder and more free by the moment. Soon it is joined by another he is truly more familiar with. Igniska walks over to where he stands and gives him a hug. "It's okay... I don't mind you looking at me, Luceil... just don't look like that at anyone else, please?"
