How's your sister doing? I see you met Verity. She's a little shy. And this is Athena Atlan. She's a uh... a friend of my mom.

Albert greeted him a second time and Todd laughed a little, smiling at his crazy-brained friend. As smart as Albert was-- he was a lot quirkier than he was sure he would ever admit. "She's alright. A little sad, though. She misses Penny." Todd answered honestly, sure that Albert missed her, too. Looking from Varity and Albert, he smiled to Athena just as she headed for the kitchen with Mrs. G. "Hi." Todd wasn't all that great with adults. He had a hard time understanding them. Turning back to Albert and Verity, he felt a little awkward. He had thought that it could just be him and Albert before they all had to go eat dinner, but... "Your mom invited me to stay for dinner, but I feel bad leaving Charl at home alone so-- I guess I came by at a bad time."

Student (Junior) Albert looked toward Todd. Todd, what's wrong? You seem a little down & I do kind of miss Penny. Albert did miss Penny too but she didn't show up in class today.

Verity Curious Merfolk ~~Profile~~ I want to know everything...  Verity shifted her weight on her feet awkwardly. "N-No... I'll be... Umm- Living here with Albert and his family... They invited me... to live here with them." She smiled shyly and then blushed again, looking at the ground, her heart racing as she inwardly wished she could be bolder around boys. "You... are a friend of Albert's? she asked quietly. ...will you teach me what you know? What are my thoughts: "Why do I have such a hard time talking to boys? It's not just any boy... It's everyone I ever see! Ugh. I am so.... dumb..."

Todd blushed at Albert's question. It wasn't really something he wanted to talk about in front of a stranger. "I'll text to you about it later. I'll be okay." Todd wasn't one to stay sad for long. He liked smiling far too much. "Albert has really really been wanting a sister lately.. He was just talking about it at lunch today. Talk about good luck." Todd told Verity, finding it ironic. "Yeah. We've been friends since-" He paused. He wanted to say their while lives but couldn't. But he didn't want to say 'since I was brought here from the lab' either. "-well... For as long as I can remember. I live a few houses down the street." He replied with a grin, thinking it was a good save. "Charl and I are going to watch Space Odyssey tonight if you guys want to come over after dinner? Mom and Dad are working late, but they said we could have a late night with friends if we wanted to. Charl would probably be really happy to meet Verity." Todd wanted to be around people.

Athena followed after Michelle being sure to wave a hello at the boy who stated hi, she also gave him a smile she wondered if any of them knew her daughters. She followed Ms. MIchelle into the dining room and looked about the place happily,"Very lovely", she explained going about and looking about the area to check on the decorations and such,"Its a lovely home", she explains,"What will be having for dinner tonight? I'm sorry I wasn't here to help you cook but I usually don't cook at home...", she stated slightly embarrased,"We sorta have someone to do that..".

Athena turned toward michelle smiling,"I will let you know after dinner I suppose", she stated with a somewhat dream state, as she sat down and waited for the dinner to be servered she assumed since it was ready they would be coming out with it soon on the plates, thats all she has ever known back at home it wasn't like she was dense she knew what others did work in the kitchen but she had so many duties in the kingdom she could hardly do any housewife chores like that of a normal seafolk dweller. She smiled intently and waited patiently for everyone to come in and sit down for dinner.

Todd was happy to hear that they were both interested in coming over. "Awesome!" He beamed happily and looked to Varity. "Space Odyssey is a movie about some astronauts who go to space on a secret mission. It's kind of a story about man versus machine in space." He explained. "And MST3K is a night time special that Albert and I watch sometimes. They show weird movies on the network. I have no clue what they plan to show tonight-- but if it's better than Space Odyssey, we'll watch it instead." Hearing his phone whistle, he checked to see that Charl had texted him... "I had better get home. Misery loves company and all that." He teased with a chuckle. "See you guys after dinner. Charl will be happy to hear you're coming." Turning to leave, he waived to Mr. And Mrs. G and Athena on his way out.
