Alec Ikiiki whalewhale I don't know f I can do it today. I got my wisdom teeth out ands it's like aaaarg pain
Do not use straws to drink any liquids, no matter how tempting until you're completely healed from the surgery.
Also, make sure to have food in your stomach before taking any pain meds that have been prescribed. A friend
of mine had his taken out Thursday of last week and barely ate for 4 days and took his meds on an empty stomach.
He GREATLY regretted it. Swishing with saltwater after eating helps, just be careful. I ate a lot of bananas, yogurt,
apple sauce, pudding, and Chicken 'n Stars soup that comes in the the small microwavable cups.
Sorry for the lengthy post, but having gone through 1 wisdom tooth and a molar pulled, along with 2 other wisdom
teeth surgically removed due to severe impaction 2 years ago, I try to be helpful when I can.
Stay hydrated and expect about a month for full healing.
haha thanks for the advice! my diet today was mostly pudding and one spoon of soup that immediately made me feel sick. what happens when you take medication on an empty stomach?

whalewhale what happens when you take medication on an empty stomach? Generally, painkillers on an empty stomach make me really queasy. sad

Boy did I use the heck out of those ice packs my surgeon gave me. Minimal pain, no bruising, no swelling. The pain
meds they gave me though, I had to cut them in half and take small doses carefully while at work. They made me go loopy.
