 Appearing next to Elkand, Larkanna looked back at the silver tower before nodding to him. "I hope that this isn't some sort of trap. The Witch of the Wastes is always coming up with little tricks like that..." But then again, there had been no lies in the boy's words. Everything had been the truth, and she couldn't help but hope that this would be the day that they ended the misery that the Witch had always managed to inflict upon those that opposed her or could do something for her.

 Elkand looked at her " We can only hope that it isn't." he said "Either way we have to deal with this now or it could be a problem later." he said. Elkand tapped his staff on the ground and the stone eagle forced its way out causing the ground to shake. The eagle took a statue like posture as Elkland clibmed on again. Elkand helped her climb on as well but she sat in front of him " Since I believe we may be heading into witches territory I suggest you fly the eagle." he said and looked at her "Just tell it your destination and it'll take us there." he said and looked ahead " I hope your ready.." he closed his eyes and waited for them to take flight.

Nodding, Larkanna held onto the eagle tightly as she thought of the closest safe place to where the Witch would most likely be. Then the eagle took into the air and she had to close her eyes and clench her teeth to prevent a scream from escaping her lips. A short while later, they reached the hill right below the 'abandoned' barn that the young boy had mentioned. Climbing off shakily, she had to take several deep breaths to steady herself once again. "She's inside. Can't you feel her magic?" There was a dark and forboding aura about the entire area, as if it could scare any spies or travelers from stumbling upon her hideout.

Elkand nodded to her " I do." he said " But this place is fueled with darkness...what manner of woman be this witch of waste?" he asked and shook his head " It doesn't matter...this magic is strong but regardless we must defeat her." he said and send the eagle away and smiled at her " Just try and stay calm and focused." he said " If we can't beat this witch we can never beat my mother and we can never continue together past this year." he said. He took a deep breath " Lets continue." he said and started walking towards the door.

Larkanna followed him up to the door before placing a hand on it and murmured a couple of words. The door clicked open and instantly a wave of what appeared to be blood poured out, trying to push them back. Being swift, she summoned a shield to surround them as the blood poured over them. When there was none left, she released the shield and dashed in before there could be another assault. The sight before her made her knees weak. There, at the other end of the barn, was a table and on it were the organs and half emptied bodies of the boy and his family. The sight was horrifying.
"I'm so glad you could make it just too late, Raven." The Witch of the Waste said, her voice as ancient as she truly was. Standing behind the table with a bloodied knife and intestine gripped in her other hand, she looked like an elderly woman and not the pretty woman she'd been the last time they'd met. "My ageless beauty had finally come to an end and now I am an ugly old hag, like I should have been a hundred years ago." She motioned to her wrinkled and revoltingly thin body. "But I found life in the death of those that don't matter, of those that are a pathetic excuse for magical users; wizards."
"Why cna't you simply accept that we all will someday die?!" Larkanna shouted, anger flaring within her being. "Why did you kill that young lad, who had dreams bigger and more noble than yours?!"
"Because he'd failed me and had believed my lies. He would have made a powerful wizard one day, but wizards are disgraces to the true magicians like ourselves, Raven. We are destined for the greatness that they have stolen from us."

Elkand let out but a slight growl as they came in. The sight of the dead family was upsetting but he couldn't find himself sad or weak it just set something off inside. Something dark was growing but he remained composed and clam but his grip around his staff tightened and his eyes went darker than they had before. He looked at her " Get your head from the rocks Witch." he said " Wizards have taken nothing from you that did deserve to be taken." he said " Its witches like you that cause this rift between the two cultures and bring yuor own society down into the depths of the underworld." he said " Most witches yuor age would have been given the chance to become immortal and remain forever...with their beauty and their mind but its obvious you weren't worthy of that choice for you are but a cruel and ugly thing that plagues this sacred ground." he said " Witches and wizards can achieve greatness side by side...there is more to gain together than apart but with you in the way that dream is worlds apart." he said " However I can do this world a favor and send you to the abyss were you will be welcomed by others that had no purpose in this world and rid this this earth of your grotesque stench and make it easier for people to see past yuor horrid appearance." he said and it sounded cruel the way he said it which was not normal for him but he was willing to rip this witch apart piece by withered piece as she had done the boy and his family and with these thought the curse grew in his mind.

Larkanna frowned as she felt his curse grow stronger, but at the moment, she was too busy battling with her own temper and urge to rip the woman to pieces to do anything to help. Unsheathing her sword, she ran at the woman, magic coming off of her like sparks. As she leaped and slashed at the witch, she was pushed back by a blast of magic, but her flaming slash had made it to the revolting creature, burning her skin and sending her into a fit. Landing on her back several feet from Elkand, she found her footing again as she stood dizzily. "I'm sorry, but there's so much that I have yet to accomplish and less time to do it in."
Before she could use the dead bodies to reheal herself, Larkanna sent another fiery blast to burn all of the corpses to crisps. She promised that she would bury their ashes in peace later, but at the moment, she was too focused on the fight to even begin the thought process of what she should do for the poor family.

Elkand took a small breaths and tapped his staff on the ground and several orbs materialized around them before they each split apart into smaller disc about 20 from the six orbs he had created. The disk began to spin and soon the disc began to spin rapidly and sent themselves at the witch in rapid succession. Hardly a second went by before he twirled to twirl his finger in the air and drew a black circle and it soon began a black hole that just existed and grew for a moment before two large black streams of shadows sprang from the hole and launched themselves at the witch and formed point like they planned to stab her and force her through the wall of the house.

Larkanna watched as he attacked and also managed to hit her numerous times, but it wasn't enough to actually rid them of her forever. The witch began to chant a spell and the ground beneath them began to shake and shudder, wrenching itself apart to bring forth tiny goblin-like creatures to her aid.
"I've got these if you want to continue with her." Larkanna said as she began to slash and fight the thousands that began to flock out from the abyss below. Of course the woman had managed to tame such putrid creatures with no loyalty towards anything or anyone but themselves.

Elkand nodded and advanced past the goblins to the witch and stabbed his staff on the ground as the area around them turned black and black bubbles pulled themselves form the shadow and they started to bubble up until they exploded in a mass of needles spearing in every direction but did not leave the area for shadow. Elkand conjured up a large light blue deer and had it run at her with its head down prepared to stab the witch with it's antlers. Elkand smiled hearing its hooves stomp the ground and prepare to kill the wicked witch that is if she wash it by the needles and stayed in place.

The Witch was impaled by the buck's antlers and gaped as blood dribbled from her cracked lips. Looking down at her stomach and then back up at the wizard, she managed to smile as she said, "You may kill me, but that doesn't mean that you will win this fight." She was gasping for breath as her heart began to slow. Before it fully stopped, she managed to say, "Now my task in life is complete.... You're welcome, Lujei." Then her eyes lost their lively glow and the goblins were instantly being dragged back into their underwordly prison.
Larkanna stood there, eyes wide with suprise and fear. She hadn't realized that this had been a set up by his step-mother. What on earth is she talking about?

Elkand looked back at Larkana and simply said to her " Its all been a trick!" he said. He looked at her " That means that Lujei is.." he knew he didn't have to finish..Larkanna could figure out the rest from here.
Lujei suddenly felt a large jolt of power and she smiled " Looks like she's finally decided to do her job." she said and stood up jumping out of her tree. She put her hands together and begin to chant her spell " Lord of the underworld accept this dark gift and opened up the pathway on this hallowed ground and allow me passage into the world of the living." she said over and over until a large door sprang from the ground an opened up showing the graveyard. She opened her mouth and eyes and light shot through and hit the door activating it completely making her clsoe her eyes again. She opened her eyes and smiled " Finally....I can leave this god forsaken land." she said and walked up to the portal and looked back " Goodbye brother...I hope you enjoy yuor time here." she yelled to Wyrm who was just on the hill not to far way before she entered the power and it closed behind her sealing itself and vanishing away until next when it could be offered the required amount of souls.

Larkanna collapsed right then, realizing all too well what they'd just done. They'd set Lujei completely free. Closing her eyes, she clenched her hands into fists and set the woman's body on fire without really thinking about it. Then she looked up at the roof, "I'm such a fool!"

Elkand slapped his fist against the wall " Dammit! We should have known she'd do something like this!" he said and shook his head " We fell for it completely. What are we gonna do?" he asked no one in particular. A voice in his head suddenly spoke up " You aid her wizard, what she's doing is glorious!" the voice said. He looked up and around. This was the first time he heard the voice. Elkand shook his head " No what she's doing is heinous!" he shouted however the voice persisted. " Heinous!? Is glorious she's bringing about the end of all thing!" it said and a figure with glowing red eyes that looked like Elkand however completely black came up from the darkness " Your a dragon, aid your mother don't ally yourself with the wizards!" it told him as large wings came form its back and wrapped itself around the shadow and then unwrapped revealing a morphed figure. Elkannd stared " I'm a wizard not a Dragon, this is a traitors talk!" he snapped at the shadow and then felt a crushing pressure and tried to keep himself up but he was forced to his knees. He placed his hands on the ground trying to catch his breath which was growing short. For some reason he could see his breath. He was unaware that this was just another part of the curse as it grew stronger. Lujei had in fact tied his curse to herself as well so with her suddenly entering the living world it sent a sudden spike of hatred allowing the curse to reach its next stage however what he was seeing was a mere illusion. To Larkanna it would appear he was going back and speaking to himself.
Lujei smelled the air and smiled "Oh its good to be alive again!" she yelled. She spouted a large pair of wings from her back suddenly and took of leaving a glowing path of magical energy. She felt fully restored and once again was free to do as she wished. She was flying towards the silver tower at the moment to fulfill the request of the Witch of Waste of condition of her "service". She was to destroy everyone in the tower including Lillet and Silvus since many of the most powerful wizards were participating in the wizards games they were all gathered in one place.

Larkanna could tell that there was something going on within Elkand's mind, so upon looking over and finding him speaking to himself only confirmed her suspicions. Standing, she dashed over, placing a hand on his shoulder, unable to hear the voice or feel his current pain. "Elkand?" She asked, worried. "Elkand?!"
