take a deep breath... in... out... but I know what you mean, I've been dealing with teenagers and loud music... it's let's dye our hair primary colors night... ugh...

Oh yes. And I am simply going to fight fire with fire. I asked them politely to tone it down. They didn't. So I'm simply going to play my music at full volume, without my headphones. And when they say they're annoyed, which they will, I'll throw it in their face. I'm fed up with being Mr. Nice Kero.

(It's either that or yer avoiding me... rofl but no one's been on of late, so I'm not wagging fingers at anyone, least of all you... Still, the guild is like a ghost ship these days and I'm usually pulling my hair out from sheer boredom... I've taken to jumping on and off, only sticking on if someone's on and then only long enough to see if they want to chat or rp or whatever... I tell ye though, iffin this keeps up much longer... I may abandon ship and turn the dang thing over to you... Being the only one around sucks sea water big time...)
p.s. Don't take the above rant personally... In no way did I mean to make you feel bad... but man, Gaia feels like a ghost town these days. It seems that all my friends have decided they have better things to do and have stopped logging on, don't blame them. Sitting in front of the computer 24/7 can put a serious kink in anyone's social life... and you young people are all young enough to still have one. rolleyes Truth is, iffin my stupid hip and leg wasn't such a mess, I'd have one too. blaugh

Heartmother, know this. No matter what, I always return. Though tides and time tear us apart, you will always be in my heart. I love the stories we write and the roleplays we do, though I too wish the riddles would pick up again. Perhaps if we were to make a contest and announce it, then make it a permanent thing. You know: Take all the 3 and above rated riddles, then ask everyone to pick their fave, or number them and get a random number. As long as we offered a good prize, I think people would come running. And perhaps another guild party? The dance really did work out well.

The trouble with offering prizes and holding the dance is lack of funds... sad to say. I dumped a ton of cash... literally into some of our contests so far and right now my hubby is on a don't spend frivolously binge... and we only have about 55 K in the mule account. No one has been donating. I'd sell off some inventory but themule doesn't have anything worth anything and I dipped into my own account the last time for the Holiday Riddle challenge. (half the prizes for the dance came from it as well... sweatdrop ) I wouldn't mind so much but we have so few regulars to count on right now and I'd hate to ask you to proved for it as well...
You ideas have merit though... so if you can think of a way to jump that little hurdle, let me know.

I'm off, kiddo, until tonight.. Yosh is acting as a parental presence for a lock in at the library that Yuki is attending. They needed a male chaperone. So I'm going to be alone from about 7 pm on... right now I've got things I need to so... if you can get on then or there abouts let me know... if not I can always go play a game or two.
