The Herald of Lightning smoothed his pallid hair back listening to the tall french woman as she stated her claims and reasons. The little man only scoffed at the thought of it all, then shrugged before resting amicably against the back of the dampened bench. His teeth shone through the slit that was his smile as he ingested the blonde's words. Whether or not they were laced with spite, dripped with sarcasm or intended to sting painfully like the slow stab of a cold blade didn't cross the Herald's mind. From his reaction, one could've even gauged that her response only pleased him and just that fact she answered how she did was satisfaction enough. This wasn't the case though. After a brief chuckle to himself, he took to answering her with the same fervent serious she had answered him.
"I'm not waiting to die Catherine. I'm already dead. More or less I'm just watching from the wings at play being staged. It's been a worthwhile production thus far, but I fear that it'll be ending soon." Timothy gathered himself and stood, then sat atop the back of the bench placing his feet where his bottom once was. He wasn't a bulky man, so the almost nonexistent warmth of the area did nothing for the soles of his feet. Staring down at this curled toes, Timothy continued on saying, "Ironically though, I think that's just what you want. For this to end. Your life. Becoming a martyr for a belief held by millions of oppressed people doesn't change a single thing. If not that, then you want a challenge. Something to make this more worthwhile. It's one of the two Catherine. I only need to ask that you verify my assertion. Denying it...would just be a lie."
"The ease of it all has to have gotten to you just like my words that you've claimed do not. Loose ends or not, someone would take your place. That may be what you want. Another afflicted individual to walk in your footsteps. Whether or not you're happy or not with the circumstances or outcome of it all at that point won't matter. You'll be dead just like I hope to be." The light blue eyed man placed his hands atop his knees, then to warm his legs, he ran his hands down the sides of the white khaki pants he wore. He stopped at his ankles, then arose to his knees once again repeating the gradual process. He turned his head to the young terrorist revolutionary and smirked at the next few things she said. The elder Owl had lived long enough to see through the previous statement spoken by her. What may have been meant to sting like the sensation the cold brought to his uncovered ears only elicited a disapproving shake of his head. "Companionship? Is that to imply that I am alone? I assure you, I'm never without company. I assure you."
"Once again, I'm lost in thought with you Oracle. That statement---Heh. Forget it," began the Herald with a curt sheepish smile after doing away with his thought. "I believe that is terrain I'd rather not travel with you. Just know that now I think I understand just as well as you do how you took down those two humans with not a second thought to their family and friends." And after laughing for a second or two in an initial response to the woman's final question, he simply went back to what she'd said to him earlier. It was this question that hit the point she'd narrowly missed seconds ago. "Why don't I wear shoes? If you're asking because of the snow, don't be concerned. Long ago, someone ignited a flame within me. Although they're dead and gone, that flame still burns for her."
~~~
"It's far from borin' Ms. It's better than doin' nothin' like I was back at the station." As the little lady went on into the store, Thomas stayed closer to the entrance inspecting hats of different crafts, sizes and shapes. Acelyn wasn't far from him and a simple turn of his head would have her within his sight instantly. From the rack, he pulled down a hat that closely resembled the one that would always get destroyed seconds after he entered a fight. "Don't taunt me like this..." Placing the hat on the rack once again, the Herald looked over his shoulder to Acelyn when she presented a different outfit.
The other set of items she'd shown only made him nod and smile courteously. It all looked stunning on the girl, but nothing that he found her spectacular in. Giving more thought to this, the old man realized he wasn't an expert on ladies fashion anyway. What he approved of would probably be shunned or laughed at in the real world. The last outfit the young woman chose did bring the man to an upright position and he snickered before slowly clapping. "It looks nice on ya Ace. The only thing ya need is a jacket fer the weather out if ya plan on wearin' this season. How much does that cost anyway?"
Ace smiled as Thomas complimented her on the outfit, laughing a little at the jacket comment. "Well first off. I can get a blazer to go with it, and wear it like that. So a versatile dress for both seasons." Her eyes moved from the mirror to the man that accompanied her, the gleam in her eye was definitely there. "Thank you for the compliment." The young woman walked over to a white blazer and took it off the rack, putting it on and walking back to the mirror. She twirled around and looked at the back, her smile growing bigger as she inspected every aspect of the dress. "Yeah... that looks good." The young owl turns to Thomas, looking at the price tags and then looking up to the ceiling, adding the two prices together. "The whole thing is... seventy five dollars. The jacket is twenty percent off and the dress is ten percent off. Pretty good deal for this dress and jacket." Her eyes went back to the mirror and smiled one last time before going back into the changing room.
"I hope you don't mind if I get it. I haven't been shopping in a good while. All my dresses are old." The girl changed back into her pants and jacket, putting on her boots quickly. The girl's finger slipped as she tied her shoe, cutting it on one of the metal parts of her shoe. "Ow." The silver liquid slowly began to drip from her finger as she finished, putting her finger in her mouth as she grabbed the clothes she wanted. Acelyn walked out of the dressing room, looking at Thomas for a second and smiling as she took the tip of her finger out of her mouth. "Cut my finger on accident." She looked at her finger to see it had stopped oozing silver liquid. "That's better." As she made her way over to the check out, she rubbed her finger on her pants, getting off any remaining metal that had leached from her finger. The girl put down the clothes on the check out counter, saying she was getting both, then looked at Thomas, the gleam had come back from before.
((TFP---Raven))
“For as long as your heart continues to beat you are alive, Herald.” Raven muttered as she surveyed the short male through cold blue eyes “As for you just watching…I highly doubt that. There is far more to you than you ever let on” The French woman had her suspicions; then again it was hard for her not to have some sort of distrust for one such as Tim. “I won’t deny that I would like for this to end.” Raven began as her eyes descended to the ground for a brief moment “But I won’t admit that I am waiting for the end. It is up to you to paint whatever picture you want with the answer I have given. Challenges will arise in time…I already know a few people who will prove to be more than enough to suffice my boredom.”
Ravens hands trembled ever so lightly with Tims’ next choice of words. Who was he to question her in such a personal manner? It was pissing the woman off more than she wanted to admit to herself and soon enough she was opening her mouth and shooting down the Lightning Heralds words “I am the one who started this and I will be the one to see it finished. It is not a task I will hand over to someone else, Timothy. I do not plan on dying until I reach a satisfactory outcome…” The Quaking Owl kept her cold gaze levelled with the Heralds and almost cursed him and his stupid, confident grin. “If there hasn’t been one single Owl who has stood up and declared their self in the past what makes you so sure that someone will in order to take my place? It is a stupid dream, waiting for someone else to take on such a burden.”
A small stretch of silence followed her words and almost instantly Raven had regretted the terrible choice of words she had chosen to use. She let out a small breath of air and watched the condensation dance away, weaving between the snowflakes that continued to fall. “Regardless of what has been said thus far….That type of thinking is not one I wish to linger on.” The French woman allowed her body to relax from its defensive stance that she hadn’t been aware of taking and dipped her hands into her pockets. “Never without company and yet I scarcely ever see you with another soul by your side. Not since the Earth Herald died” Her words were soft and questioning, yet it was clear she didn’t care for what type of reaction the Herald may give….if he gave one at all.
The blonde female shook her head when Timothy went on to state that he believed he knew how she was able to take out the two humans without a second thought. Did he really know? Or was this him making more assumptions? Either way, it brought a small smirk to the woman’s lips at how this man seemed to think. Alas it was far too soon to even consider this as an act of camaraderie. “I may not give a second thought now…but who’s to know what I may think in the future” She leaned herself on a side of a building and listened to the reason behind Tim and his ‘hate’ for shoes. “A burning flame….” Love huh? Well who would have known it! Tim was just as susceptible to his emotions as the next normal person. Raven laughed lightly before speaking once again
“I do hope that flame continues to burn…Because this weather is not going to end anytime soon...” She looked upwards to the sky to watch the falling snowflakes for a short moment. She had thought before, that it must be nice to have such passion for someone. Then again, Raven did or had felt that before, maybe not in the same way, but she had felt it and the flames still continued to burn and they gave her strength… Then suddenly, it dawned on her, perhaps she was never as alone as she sometimes thought. If she could continue to feel such warmth and never let those flames burn out----“Flames die as well in the end... If they are not fed"
((TFP---Serena))
It was rather unfair to judge Serena solely on her love of violence and cool looking weapons. While she may have actually gone to the hidden weapons room, it was only to get away from everything else that was going on. In fact, she had decided to check out each gun and rate them on size, power, availability, easiness, and just for the hell of it, coolness. However, while Serena began her private work and ‘down time’ she was soon interrupted in the strangest of ways… Something suddenly tapped her on the head.
Now Serena wasn’t a calm, collected person when she felt that the house was in possible danger of ex Fallen Phoenix members suddenly attacking. So having something or someone tap her on the head out of the blue had her tensing up. The albino woman narrowed her eyes and within the few taps she had grabbed the one responsible and yanked them sharply in an attempt to flip them over her shoulder. In the next instant Serena grabbed and loaded a rather big gun and pointed it to where she was sure the suspect was. “Try anything funny and I will kill you in the worst possible way…”
((NPC---Seb)
Sebastian waved away the Sebastian’s apologies for showing up all of a sudden. “It is not a problem.” The butler stood at the back of the room when the small family began talking amongst their selves and shared some Christmas cheer. His dark eyes narrowed as he began dreading a certain albino bunny’s reaction to this…He almost expected her to burst into the room brandishing a gun and declaring that Seb the 2nd and his wife can stay as long as they can cope with a gun to their heads during their stay. To keep his mind of that unpleasant but amusing scenario, the dark haired Butler began to organise some books on a nearby bookshelf. He was there merely to watch, listen and help….
 This was unreal....her parents? This was definitely a tough pill to follow. The psychic studied the features of both Sebastian and Evelynn. When he asked about his son-in-law and to tell him more about herself, she'd be lying if she said she didn't feel the least bit awkward in this situation. Taking a cup of tea she began to sip gently...at this point, she was surprised she wasn't pissing herself as she thought.
"Well...I'm not married" she told her new found parents. "But his name is Lucien. He's a couple of years younger than I am, but he's a great guy. Very intelligent and he makes me happy" she told the older couple. Yea this was definitely awkward for her. She then took another sip of her tea. "I suppose I can start from the beginning" she told them. "Well I came to America, and lived with my aunt and uncle...." she paused thinking about her deceased and abusive guardians.
"...they're dead now" she followed up. "I'm sorry....what are your names...and why...why did you leave me with such horrible people?" she asked the two of them.  Aeon shifted a little umcomfortably, she could tell that her sister was more confused...and wanted answers. "Oh yes he's a wonderful guy. Even had his own company and he's a super genius" she said to her parents with a smile. When Amara asked their names, Aeon said subtly. "Sebastian and Evelynn" she said rubbing her sister's leg. The next thing...she didn't even know was in her sister's past...she was abused?
Evelynn listened to her youngest daughter. It was disappointing that her daughter wasn't married...but the child was beautiful and she seemed happy? The omnipath looked into Amara's eyes. "Those weren't your aunt and uncle. They were two people who I had implanted memories and suggestions into their mind to think that they were your relatives" she said to her taking another sip of tea.
"As to why they abused you, I can not say. I hate that happened to you... believe me...that was never our intent for you" she told the young psychic.
Amara listened to her mother and looked down. So she was a psychic like she was. She could only begin to think that her "luck" may have extended from her father. She chose to leave out the part where she killed them. "Well a little later, I was abducted from my school by the U.N.S. an organization dealing with Owls and I stayed with them until I was seventeen....then I died" she told them.
"Wait did you say die?" Aeon asked. She had heard a lot of things...but this was crazy. She decided not to say anything else...afterall this was Amara's time. Aeon could remember her parents more than Amara could.
Looking up from Aiden and to his psychic daughter, he looked at her pondering. "You mean to tell me that you had died when you were only seventeen?" he asked with curiosity.
Evelynn listened to the story thus far. Died? she thought and at that moment she knew exactly what Amara was talking about. It seemed that after all of these years, her thoughts...her predictions were correct. "Sounds like the herald of mind's work" she simply said. Putting her tea cup and saucer down she looked at her daughter with admiration and simply smiled.
"Yes you're correct..." Amara said. How did Evelynn know though? She decided that she would continue with her story. "Then I was killed a second time...outside of the white house...and for a whole year and a half of my life, I can't remember..." she told them. "When I was revived...I came back...and worked with the U.N.S. again...that's where I found out that I had feelings for Lucien. I've known his since I was a young girl...but our feelings were made evident...and we've been together ever since" she said to them.
"So you're a psychic like your mother...interesting" he said to her. Listening to the rest of the story he nodded. "He sounds like a great young man" he admitted with a smile.
"So Amara...are you still....in the presence of the herald of mind?" Evelynn asked. She was curious...in a way she was jealous that her daughter possessed the power she once had...but she was also proud. Amara shook her head no. "Wait...what do you mean? How did you lose it?" she asked in curiosity.
"The heralds...they shot me...." she simply said trailing off drinking her tea and not saying anything else.
((Will))
The sound of the harmonica played by the music virtuoso floated throughout the airplane, weaving in and out and simply playing the full tune of the Piano Man. Alas, the harmonica's sound was abruptly cut off by a misblow as the Satan Owl felt himself yanked through his airplane seat, seemingly swallowed up by the airplane seat. Whether anyone noticed was up to their character creators or if they weren't lost in their own thoughts or interacting with someone else.
Now, anyone knows that people and creatures and animals don't like their tails getting pulled, Satan Owl included. So, when Serena yanked on the black pointed tail that had tapped her head, Will came falling through the portal ...right on top of that gun that Serena had locked and loaded...since she hadn't yanked hard enough to toss his full weight over her shoulder to where she wanted the "culprit" to be. Nevertheless, that gun was still pointed at Will.
The blonde devil blinked as he righted himself. The harmonica was still in one of Will's hands. "Mmmm....." Will merely commented as he turned to face Serena and put the harmonica to his mouth...a certain trigger happy song began to sound out on the harmonica.
((Myra))
Having done as Sebastian asked, Myra's task was now done. The golden haired lady sighed. There certainly were more guests than usual these days...uncalled for guests. The butler was keeping an eye on the guests. The raven haired man sure knew where to find brute strength if he needed any....Myra. I'm avoiding Freya. No use getting scolded by Will for ruining the place.
The little Herald could only shake his head at the naivety that fueled Raven's opening response. Her lifestyle, filled with repeated assassination attempts by random men and women or trained UNS operatives, may have warranted more of a definition of what being alive truly was. Then again, maybe it was that scraping of the bottom of the barrel that has made the blonde woman as well as all of her followers content with just having a beating heart mean to them that they were alive. Coyly, he tilted his head as he stared at her taking in her accusation. She was clever. Obviously. She had to be if she wanted to stay living amidst the war. "You know my purpose and what I'm here for Catherine. To see to it that you have your Oracle unhindered. Afterwards, I can revive my ambition of killing you and the rest of these other warring Owls. Until then, I'm more than inclined to be a watchman."
After a brief moment, the Quaking Owl went on to explain herself further, though this time with a slightly more animosity driven tone and when she finished, he allowed her a moment to gather what she'd just said. The woman sighed and her body relaxed. The Herald took that as a sign and chuckled lightly at her reaction to herself. When the style of seating he chose grew uncomfortable to him, he lowered himself onto the bench and sat on it the correct way. His toes were then out spread out within the snow he'd dug them into like sand on the beach. From the chill, a weak shiver made it's way up through his ankles and then his spine but the feeling that was akin to a dull stinging didn't deter him one bit. He made the most of the weather and relaxed. Once settled, his gaze fell upon Raven again. Studying her cool down, the Herald smirked again, then ascended his light blue gaze to the grey skies above. "Yes. No need to think about what will happen to our legacies after death then."
Again, she almost struck a nerve of Timothy's that he'd been doing well to keep away from her. Like a package or a child a soldier protected as bombs burst through the air and the ground, he remained calm and caught snowflakes on the tip of his tongue. After taking the droplet of fresh water, he exhaled and a bit of regret broke through the cracks of his amiable smirk when the deceased Earth Herald Sabrina was mentioned. The red-haired Earth manipulator had Timothy's heart for the short while that she did. He had her's as well and for what was just the blink of an eye in his lifespan, he was a content person. Just as quickly though, she was taken from him just as his first love was. Blinking slowly and painfully, he looked down to the top of his bare feet again and for a moment, the small Herald allowed himself to think back upon those days of joy, sunshine and happiness.
"I'm never in seclusion. I'm never in solitude. I'm never alone and because of that, I'm never afraid. I'm always in the company of my loved ones and lost ones just as you are. What alters your outlook is the moment you choose to acknowledge the company of your more ethereal companions," Timothy rebutted, his mind unearthing memories he'd wished he'd long forgotten long, long ago. "In that moment, that pristine moment in which you can feel the eyes of those long forgotten peering down upon you...watching you and judging you from afar with only the best hopes and wishes for you and your endeavors, you realize that you're not alone and that nothing can stop you." The Herald wasn't foolish enough to allow the delusion to decide for the lost souls whether or not they agreed with his path. He knew that they didn't and some had probably turned their backs upon him already. His icy stare met with Raven's eyes and promisingly, he stared into them. There would come a day when the young woman would realize just what he meant and although uncaring to much of what the blonde had been through or would go through later on in life, he knew she'd reach that point. Timothy simply hoped he'd be alive to see it. Until then, the seriousness of the overall situation wouldn't allow him to savor and reflect upon the memories he'd put away just for moments like this.
Leaning forward to place his elbows upon his knees, the Lightning Herald said to Raven, "My flame will never die as long as I continue to feed it what I have been all these years. Ambition, the will to live and the cadavers of those that wish to stop me. Now, if you don't mind me asking, Catherine, is there someone dear to you that you miss? Someone you wish were here today to tell you that what you're doing is right and that everything will be okay?"
~~~
"Anytime. Anytime." Thomas shifted when Acelyn inspected the price of the outfit and sighed due to indecisiveness. There were hats everywhere and all of them he could afford, but just which ones to buy was what plagued his mind. For anyone else, it was just a simple choice of this or that. For the Texan who was an avid fan of wide-brimmed headwear, this was a life or death decision. After a moment given, Acelyn announced the price of the little ensemble and Thomas gave a half-smile when she decided this was what she wanted. "If'n it' that cheap, you can get something else if ya want Ms. I'll pay fer it if ya like."
The elder hadn't noticed that cut on the girl's finger until she pointed it out to him after removing her finger from her mouth. He shook his head, smirking at the whole thing like a father would to his child who'd just fallen from a bike or tripped on a stone. "Watch it next time. Can't have you hurtin' yerself on my watch." The tone the man chose was a reminder that while this was for her enjoyment, this was still more business than anything else. Only after the expanse of silence that settled in on their way to the counter did Thomas realize what he'd said and how it was said. After taking a hat from a nearby rack, he placed it on her head, then patted her as a small chuckle arose from him. After everything was rung up to be paid for, Thomas gave the cashier his credit card and awaited the transaction to finish. After it was all done, his gaze fell upon the young blonde girl and he nodded for her to follow him.

((TFP---Raven))
“By all means, watch away” The French woman smirked and moved to sit on the bonnet of a car that was almost completely buried beneath the snow. Before sitting down though, she had swept her hand along the surface and knocked a nice amount off onto the floor to save her getting a damp or wet bottom. Once balanced on the car, Raven crossed her legs and leaned back until her vision was only locked onto the sky above. Right now the sky was dark and without stars, tomorrow it would no doubt be medium grey and ready to burst forth with more snow outpouring from the dark clouds. She would rather it rained…or perhaps a bit of warmth would be nice. Sadly, neither of those things would probably come to surface for another week or two. “Our legacies, hm? It doesn’t matter for neither of us would be around to hear them anyways”
The blonde haired female continued to watch the still sky as Tim went on to speak about never being alone because there was always loved ones watching over him. “It must be nice…Believing in that” Raven had long ago forgotten what it was like to feel the presence of a deceased person around her. How could anyone expect her to feel their eyes when she could no longer see them? No, in her mind they had left her alone many years ago. Was it really so easy, believing in the ever watchful eyes of the deceased? “They will have already judged and turned away from me the moment I made up my mind on what needs to be done.” The realisation that she had chosen a path that many if not all of her loved ones would have frowned upon did not stab at her closed in heart as much as it might have a normal person. These thoughts conflicted with her earlier ones and eventually, it won.
Raven adjusted her position and twisted her neck this way and that to relax the muscles that had begun to cramp due to the length of time in which she had spent looking up at the sky. She looked towards the Lightning Herald with steady eyes and smirked at his response to the feeding of a flame. “If you say so” Was her small remark as she laced her fingers together in an attempt to encourage some warmth to build up in the palms of her hands. When Tim asked his next question it caught the Fallen Phoenix leader off guard and that was shown in the way she stiffened up before laughing lightly, like he had told an amusing joke. For a moment she thought his words through before breaking the silence with her careful reply.
“If you can point out to me one person in this world who has never wished for a friend, lover, family member or even pet to be returned to them, I would bow down before you.” Raven shook her head and stood up from her make shift seat “If I could make such a wish… even if it was just for one day…I would like to see my father.” She spun round on and laughed once again “I am curious as to what he would say or if he would even want to see me.” The laughter stopped and her sharp blue eyes narrowed “Of course, this kind of talk doesn’t matter either. It won’t happen and even if it did….” She broke of, playing with a small handful of snow in mild thought “Like I said…It doesn’t matter. Nothing good will come from this talk” Another source of comfort for her would have been little Nathaniel. But he, like many before him, had also left her behind.
((Serena))
The Vanishing Owl was rather surprised when the head tapping culprit ‘fell’ on top of her gun. She flinched as the weight put more pressure onto her wrist but she managed to hold her ground while righting herself and resuming her perfect aiming position. Her anger was soon replaced by annoyance when the imposter began playing the harmonic along with a certain song that Serena was not particularly fond of…Probably because it fit her far too well for her liking. “Who the hell do….you…think….” She felt her jaw go slack as realisation sunk in. It was none other than Will. What the hell was he doing back?!
The annoying harmonica playing seemed to echo in the albino’s head and it was fast becoming old. She relaxed her grip on the gun and eventually lowered it to hang at her side before falling to the floor. Did this mean the Satan Owl wasn’t going to Virginia? That he was going to stay behind? “Will….?” She muttered while blinking slowly. “What are you doing here?” She couldn’t dare to bring herself to think that he was in fact sitting this part of the war out. "If anything, he had forgotten something or come to kick unwanted guests out." So, in a business-like manner, Serena picked up the fallen gun and put it back where it belonged before grabbing the paper work she had been using for information on the weapons in the room. “Next time be careful where you land, you could have broken my wrist.” As if to prove something, she then rubbed her wrist and pulled a face.

Acelyn smiled at the old man, the gleam in her eye had not gone away the entire time they were in there and still, even as they were leaving. "Wow. Thank you." When Thomas put the hat on her head, she laughed and walked beside him. The young owl held open the door for him, the bag of new clothes on her arm. "Thanks again, Thomas. I appreciate the tiny shopping trip." Her eyes went from him, to the sky soon after.
"You know I never had a father?" Her eyes still seemed to glow, even on the dim subject such as parental units. The girl's past was grim, only knowing her adoptive parents for a mere 2 weeks before watching them be slaughtered like animals, then framed for it all. "My sister took care of me. The way you looked at me back there when I mentioned my cut, she used to give me that look. That's how I knew she loved me. Not saying you love me, but you probably have to care for me some what." The owl laughed a little at her fumbling speech, looking back at Thomas.
"How did you get into the U.N.S.? Did you get pulled off the street like me or did you do the whole fancy interview process?" Acelyn was trying to make some sort of connection, other than the fact that this man already saved her life by giving her a job and that he was her boss. "Your story must be something else, huh?" Her eyes went down to the ground, watching the snow be kicked up by her white boots every time she stepped forward.

Will simply smiled like an angel as Serena interrogated him and then reprimanded him. "Wasn't expecting me, hmm? You yanked my tail, bunny. What did you think was going to happen?" He put the harmonica in his pocket and patted his albino bunny on the head. And then she complained about her wrist. He picked up the wrist and patted it. "Looks fine to me," he chuckled as he took the paper from her and placed it back to wherever it was supposed to be. "Restless, hmm? Well, I suppose since I'm here now... the plane hasn't landed yet, and there's nothing important going on there." He stated. Then he added sarcastically, "Can't cover their asses until they make a move or wait too late, right?" He patted Serena again. "Unhappy about the other baby and the sisters? You don't need to get to know them if you don't want to. They're just temporary as are these visitors."

 It was evident that Amara had mixed emotions as of right now. She sat in silence for a few minutes sipping on her tea...enduring the awkward silence. How dare they come here...how dare they come here on Christmas and ruin her day of happiness. Aeon knew that it was her time to speak. "Well mom, dad...I've met someone as well. I'm not engaged or pregnant or anything but things are pretty serious. His name is Lomoli and he is the sweetest guy ever. He was the one who informed me that I was an owl a few years back" she told them. "He's currently the light herald" she said with pride. "I do have to admit I see a bright future with the both of us" she told them with a smile.
"Honestly Moli has brought out the best in me...he helped me love me when I didn't even love myself...you know for who I was, because for so many years...I thought I was just an ordinary human...in fact I was in University, last semester when he came into my life" she said. "But since then...I've been traveling the world with him and his friends...trying to stop this terrorist group called The Fallen Phoenix" she said to her parents.
"Well that's great Aeon, I would love to meet this Lomoli fellow, it seems that he makes you very happy" he said with a light smile. He then glanced over at his youngest daughter....it was clear that she was upset....and Evelynn really wasn't making it better. When Aeon mentioned The Fallen Phoenix he stopped sipping on his tea as if someone had his heart in a vice grip and the rest of his body was now suffering because of it.
Looking at her husband the omnipath sat her tea cup down and crossed her legs. "You were shot Amara...the gigas pistas?" she asked rhetorically. She was angered...."...your whole..." she cut herself off. The Fallen Phoenix...the team that they were now on...their daughters were fighting against them. She knew this of course...but..."Listen you two, we have something that we need to tell you....and you need to take all of this in" she said to the two of them.
"Evelynn this is not the time we can do this another time" Sebastian said playing with the now sleepy Aiden. Handing him back to Amara, the elder Owl observed his two daughters...they did deserve to know what was going on with their parents and themselves. "What your mother is trying to say...is that...the reason we gave you two up so long ago is because of the lifestyle we lived. We are in fact members of The Fallen Phoenix of now, but before all of this ensued me, your mother and a few friends were doing the exact same thing as Raven...we weren't as successful and we were kind of lose forming...but...our dream is nothing short of Raven's" he told the duo.
"So you mean to tell me that you two are terrorist?" Aeon asked with a grim expression. "How could you even condone something like that?" she asked in fear. She didn't want to believe that her parents were like this at all...she had always imagined them to be loving, embracing and humanitarians....unfortunately this was not the case.
"No we are not...but we are no cowards and we are not nieve...there is no way that we can peacefully co-exist with humans" she told Aeon and Amara. Evelynn was going to be upfront. "With that being said...you two were our last resorts....like weapons" she merely stated. "Aeon...when I found out I was pregnant with you it served as the perfect opportunity for your father to study the raw genetics of an owl...long story short after conception, you were basically genetically built...given the best genes possible to create...a beautiful creation such as yourself. Have you ever wondered why there hasn't been anyone reported with the power that you have" she said.
"When I was younger...I was graced by the herald of mind...had god like power...and from being stupid...I lost it" she told the two women. "Thinking that you would be capable of hosting her power...that's why you were genetically engineered. Once I figured out that you weren't able to...or showed no signs of psychic powers like me...and mind you...you don't have to be psychic...then we raised you as an ordinary girl...never really focusing on your owl power...I set up several mental blocks so that you could be a normal girl" she told her projector daughter.
"About a year and half later, I suggested to your father we try something else...cloning" she said to them. "Taking the majority of my DNA...and adding a few dominant traits from your father...we were able to construct Amara and from there I carried her as I did you Aeon" she said to her. "I cloned myself because genetically....I knew that Amara would be able to take in the herald of mind....but to learn that she had the power and lost it..." she trailed. "We needed your power...but that's okay...I mean it's not okay...but we will need you two to get your things together soon...we need to get back to Exire" she said.
"With your projection abilities Aeon and you and my psychic powers Amara....we will be able to help Raven even more" she said.
This was too much for the psion to handle. CLONED? was all she could think to herself. Did that mean that Amara wasn't a real person...someone who lacked a soul? Was that the reason she was able to kill so many people without too much remorse. "What kind of sick people are you? A clone? Weapons? Genetically designed? Is that all you care about?!? Power...achieving a dream of yours at any cost?" she asked. "The fact that you couldn't achieve this the first time...you drag us into this?" she asked her biological parents.
"You two don't even know me. You weren't there when I had my first date, or my first boyfriend or anything. Che Presidiomni is more of a parent to me than the two of you put together. I'm not going to Exire...in fact...the fact that you said you created me so that I could host that damn herald power....I've killed hundreds of thousands of people....do you know what the cost of that power is? Sanity!!! Just because you weren't capable of keeping it, doesn't mean you should lash out on me...in fact if it wasn't for that damn gun...I would still have the power...." she said tears forming in her eyes dripping into her tea. Aeon sat in silence as Amara looked at her parents with resentment.

Cecilia's jade eyes left the amethyst eyes of her Life Owl boyfriend and stared down at her lap at the cover of the book that Vincent was so nice to give her as a Christmas present. Cecilia was far from an empath, but one could easily determine that Roulin's thoughts and emotions were elsewhere at the moment. The Cosmic Owl opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again. With a small gravitational surge, she lifted the book so that it was hovering in front of her and opening it with another push of gravity. The designs were beautiful, but her mind was much further away from them than even possible.
The fledgling herald began to assess the situation that each of them were about to delve into. The biggest threats would be the three Heralds working alongside Raven. Timothy, Sydney, and Ember. Timothy would most definitely give them the most trouble out of the three. Aside from them it would be Raven next followed by Soliel and Lorna...perhaps Kojiro as well. Cecilia turned the page of her book with a gravitational push leaving her hands free to allow her to chew her nails, something she often did when she was deep in thought.
There was also the army, which Raven had bred. From what Cecilia could determine, they were a destructive force both individually and together. Sebastian, Aeon and Amara's father, might very well prove to be troublesome as well given his abilities. That is...if he chose to fight in this battle. There was the passing thought of Amara and Aeon. Would they attack their own comrades if they attacked their father again? If Sebastian did choose to fight, it would be inevitable.
Cecilia's demeanor was halfway between confident and unsure. They would be able to hold their own, but there was such a thing as strength in numbers and numbers was what Raven had. Lifting her head from the book, she allowed it to fall gently into her lap again. Her jade eyes directed themselves towards Roulin and her lips curled into a smirk of confidence. I sure hope you're ready for this," she said moving a few locks of her silver tresses off of her shoulder. "Try not to be killed." Her voice held a playful demeanor. It would take a lot more than a few Owls to kill Roulin. Of course, she couldn't help, but tease him just a little bit.

"In that respect I'm afraid you're absolutely correct." he said in reference to how Che compared the two of them to Che and Dante. "The path Roulin walks...It reminds me of how I use to be. Cold, calculating, cynical, only the mission mattered there was no gray area or room for error." He looked slightly down at the fizzing liquid in his glass. "I can promise him that the path he's going down isn't one he want's to. For christ's sake that stupid way of thinking got me impaled on a pillar of crystal. And also...Cecilia's not like Amara I don't know if she has the never ending patience to put up with a person like that. He won't be the Roulin she fell in love with. He'll be a machine." Lucien shifted his weight a little to get more comfortable, the chairs in which they sat were comfortable already but the slight bumps of the plain left little to be desired. He smiled a bit and looked back up at Che. "I can tell that now I sound like Dante as well. Here I was thinking I was branching out into someone different. Looks like I was wrong, Che there's not much I can promise but what I can say is that Roulin and I will not become future generations of you and your brother. The world could never handle that again." He was joking about the last part of course.

Demios had primarily been keeping to himself and thinking about the talk he had with Amara. It had left him with a lot to think about, and on some level it made him glad she hadn't come with them, he didn't want her or Aiden to be in harms way. He also remembered the talk about their powers and how she helped him feel a little more confident in their coming battle. However, he was pulled from his thoughts when Vincent began to speak to him. "Huh?" he mumbled as he looked up at the owl who proceeded to hand him a gift. "Oh....thanks, but you didn't have to get me anything" he said rather quietly. Once Vincent walked away Demios examined the crystal it was purple and to most people wouldn't mean much, but to Demios it was a sweet gesture. He quickly took the chain and placed it around his neck. He could feel the crystal pulsate with a small level of energy and it was a bit comforting. Now as the magical owl sat he began to twirl the crystal in his hands. He had nearly forgotten about the holidays and hadn't boughten anything. However, he had managed to write up a christmas card for Genya during the plane ride that stated 'Demios was happy for Genya to be safely at home and hoped he was enjoying the holidays' and then magically transported it to Genya's home along with a new raven whistle granted this one was a lot less special than the original one. It was then that he looked out the window "I wonder how Genya and Amara are doing" He said to no one in particular. He then thought of Vincent and felt he should get the kid something. He thought of something and formed a small raven bracelet and then walked over to Vincent. "Uhh...here, I know its not much but...happy holidays" he said quietly as he handed him the bracelet.

 Vincent had been looking out of the window when Demios came up to him and gave him a raven bracelet. "Thank you" he said to the spellcaster. "You could sit here if you'd like. The plane ride right now is awful boring and all of the older Owls are busy discussing things in which I don't think I'd be too welcomed to participate in" he said with a heavy laugh. "So are you nervous? Excited?" the stopping owl interrogated. He had never interacted with Demios at all really so why not take the time out to do it now. They had time and he never knew if Demios would end up saving his life or vise versa...it was just nice to build a relationship amongst the members of the team.

((Serena))
“Oh I don’t know what I was expecting; all I know is that it wasn’t you!” Serena snapped while shuffling the papers angrily and concentrating on one of the many weapons on display. Her random build-up of anger wasn’t helped when she received a pat on the head. The albino woman swatted Will’s hand away and rolled her eyes when Will patted her wrist “Yeah, it looks fine now” And then he removed the papers that was keeping her occupied and calm. “Hey. I was using them!” She took a small breath of air in and held it for a moment before releasing it slowly. Despite her current mood she was rather happy that Will had, quite literally, dropped in. “A boring flight I take it? I can’t imagine it is fun, being grouped with people like that….”
Like any other time Serena and Will were together there was of course a lot of head patting. While Serena had actually grown rather accustomed to being patted, she knew that she shouldn’t let him get away with it so often. Should she act indifferent the patting would only increase…until he was doing it 666 times a day. That was an unpleasant thought, one that had the white haired female brushing his hand away. “It’s not that I am unhappy with them being here…I couldn’t care less…I just don’t know how to deal with them and so I don’t bother.” She shrugged lightly “Besides, I don’t think they are too keen on me, I have no interest in them, and if by some miracle we actually sat down and had a conversation…They would no doubt dislike me even more by the end”
Serena smiled innocently “I won’t be putting on an act to make friends when I am at home. Sebastian can deal with them, he is far better with people then myself.” She grabbed a handful of her hair and began playing with it absentmindedly. She wasn’t going to force her company on some random person and she kinda figured that the two sisters would rather spend some quality time together. But her theory may be based too much on how she and Xander were as kids. They didn’t make friends with others and preferred to be left alone. Serena was sort of making assumptions that every pair of siblings was the same way. That anyone else would only end up hurting them in some way, shape or form. No, it was better to keep away. Serena blinked a few times and released the hair she had been twirling between her fingers for a good few seconds. She looked up towards the blonde male and opened her mouth to say something…but then shut it after failing to find her voice. The Vanishing Owl felt the heat rise on her cheeks and she cursed herself mentally. She then quickly snatched the paper work from where Will had placed it and made out she was reading it with the upmost interest. “Hey Will…Do you have to go?”
