[Serpentpaw gleefully watched the little angle flutter away. she stoped when Stripedkit mentioned that Cometstream was blind!] She is blind!? how did that happen? [She smiled and mewed goodbye to her new starclan friend.] "Do not worry! Serpentpaw isnt the type to mock! She will be just fine!" [She then turned and padded around camp on her search for Cometstream.]

[Stripedkit returned to the clearing with mottledpelt at his side, and looked one last time at serpentpaw.]
"You'll find her in the elder's den."
[He said lastly, as the angel took off, hanging onto Mottledpelt's tail to help him fly up successfully.]

[Serpentpaw smiled at them as she watched them return to the stars. when they were gone she turned and padded toward elder's den with new hope. she slinked around in the shadows as she approached the the entrance of the den. shyly she peeked her head in, her eyes glowing in the darkness. She was nervous to talk to the elder. the first and last time she talked to her was when she was a kit and she had yelled at her during her brake down.] "hello? Cometstream? are you in here? it is Serpentpaw. she wants to talk to you, its about Spaidpaw." [She said, hoping to chatch her attention.]

[Cometstream raised her head and let out a small snort of contempt.]
"Serpentpaw, eh? Man, i haven't talked to this many apprentices since i was a medicine cat."
[The old tabby sat up, stretching her creaking limbs.]
"You said you wanted to talk about Spadepaw? What is it you wanted to talk about."
[Cometstream asked, her silver gaze staring blankly at the apprentice.]

 "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluepaw climbed down the tree Serpentpaw and Stripedkit were talking at holding a squirrel in her jaws "What was that about?" Bluepaw asked threw the squirrel's fur "How am I suppose to know, she's your friend" Rainstar purred appearing beside her daughter, making Bluepaw jump "Rainstar! I haven't seen you in ages!" "Well healing an injured soul isn't exactly easy"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[Serpentpaw shifted uneasy. she hoped to starclan that the elder wouldnt think she was crazy and call Iceears when she told her what she saw.] "um, well... do you know a cat named Stripedkit. well Serpentpaw just had a talk with him. he said... history would repeat itself. only this time it would be worse. he trusted Serpentpaw to look over Spaidpaw. what did he mean when he said history would repeat itself? what happened?" [she asked peaking up shyly at the her. she hoped she wouldn't yell at her again. but she had to know, for Spaidpaw.]

[Cometstream blinked, looking off.]
"Hmm...Stripedkit...i don't remember that name very well...but i know what he's getting at. Many, many seasons ago, there lived a mighty band of three sisters. Specklefoot, Mottledpelt, and Dewfrost. Their mother had a terrible secret that, their leader said, he would reveal unless each kit went to a different clan. Mottledpelt went to Seaclan and became the deputy, Specklefoot became the deputy for Stormclan, and Dewfrost quickly became Dewstar, leader of breezeclan. Dewstar was evil- known as one of the most dark-hearted cats of the clans...She was feared by many, but a great leader, otherwise. A great war broke out among the clans once, and in that, Mottledpelt faced Dewstar, and well..."
[Cometstream stretched a bit more, turning to face Serpentpaw.]
"..in this battle, Mottledpelt murdered Dewstar. Took all nine lives with a death-bite when they fell off a cliff. Mottledpelt died a hero, losing her life in the fall of slaying the evil Dewstar. Now, i know it's a little hard to tell, but if you ever see that starclan spirit, Mottledpelt, you'll find that she and Spadepaw are almost exact in looks, just different pelt coloring. Same thing goes for Dicepaw. They both even share the same eye colors..."
[Cometstream let out a small snort, her tail curling around her paws as she hunched over.]
"If this Stripedkit fellow claims that history is going to repeat itself...he'll most likely mean that Spadepaw is going to lose her life killing Dicepaw...but, starclan isn't always correct."
[A nearby creamy tom elder let out a hiss at cometstream's saying of how starclan isn't always correct.]

[Serpentpaw blinked. she had no idea! she felt enlightened knowing some of her clan's past. she began to remember when Spadepaw introduced Mottledpelt to her. She had no idea she had taken down a tyrant. She remembered the vision very clearly, the 2 sitting next to each other. She nodded.] "Serpentpaw knows. She has met Molltedpelt as well." [She looked down at her paws, thinking.] Dose this mean Dicepaw truly is evil? no, it cant be! she is Serpentpaw's clanmate, Serpentpaw cant except that! but... what if it is true? [Serpentpaw never believed in the cycle of violence or that history repeated itself. She wasent sure if she ever would.]

[Serpentpaw couldnt help but smile at Cometstream's suprize.] "Spaidpaw introduced me to her. She is her guardian angel now. and now Serpentpaw also wishes to be her guardian here on earth." [ Serpentpaw didnt see it as that much of a suprize, she had been seeing many spirits lately, almost as if she was a beacon. her emerald eyes watched the elder, eagerly waiting for her next response.]

[Cometstream looked off without a word, stalking about in blind circles, smacking into one of the walls. She let out a small hiss and flopped back into her nest.]
"Stupid, stupid starclan she-cat! She could've prevented this entirely! And Dewstar, oh i'll have a bone to pick with her!"
[She swiveled her head back to serpentpaw.]
"Serpentpaw, i understand you're concerned with Spadepaw's safety, but you cannot lose your own life in this- your connection with starclan is vital- heck, it's stronger than mine!"
[She sighed, curling up to sleep.]
"Such stupid she-cats nowadays...Frozensong would laugh if she were here right now."

[Serpentpaw shook her head. she would do anything to protect her clan, the ones she loves, even if it meant laying down her life.] "but Serpentpaw wants to protect her clan! Serpentpaw wants to protect! She... she has always tried but never succeeded to protect the ones she loves. But now she can actually do something about it! She dose not want to leave this opportunity to change something in vain because she was protecting herself!" [She pleaded. her eyes full of hope and the desire to protect.]

[Serpentpaw laid her ears on the back of her head. ] "Serpentpaw dosnt believe in destiny..." [She muttered to herself. But she understood Cometsream's worries. She didnt want Serpewntpaw to get herself in danger because she did something foolish. She bowed her head in respect to the elder.] "thank you for your time Cometstream." [She then turned and headed out of the elder's den.]
