Paladine lands amid the rubble of a once magnificent fortress. There are bodies everywhere, some are quite old, others recent and fresh. The state of things is utter confusion. Paladine clears them a path with an expedient use of his tail.

A scantily clad woman is kneeling beside an enormous minotaur with blood red fur, who is just happens to be buried beneath a pile of rubble. It would be a touching scene, a woman crying over the demise of her lover except, Sargonnas is anything but dead, merely buried to the waist and livid with fury, and she is anything but grieving. Instead she is calling him by every name in the book.

Paladine shakes his great head. "Really Tak... can't you at least dig him out first before giving him a piece of your mind."

"How did you? It was a fool proof plan! Take them down from the inside. Subvert the young and do away with the old. It would have worked, too..." she hisses savagely.

Paladine's eyes blaze with anger. "I cannot believe you would threaten an entire race with extinction, just to get you way. Our race... even..." And he begins to tell the Goddess od discord exactly what he thinks of her.

An hour later he is still going strong and Sargonnas is sagging in his chair, his eyes glazed and dull. Someone, at least is paying attention to Paladine's rant. But not Takhisis. She is sitting where they found her, glaring at her brother in open defiance.

"Ya ya ya ya..." she mutters sarcastically, sighing with disgust.

"Let me do it..." growls Sargonnis with sudden interest. "I told her this wouldn't work. But would she listen to me... NO!"

Paladine looks at him and smiles wickedly. "Actually, he'll probably do a better job than me when it comes down to it. Won't he, Tak?"

She launches herself at Paladine, screeching like a banshee and finds herself hanging in midair, her hind quarters slowly turning towards her consort.

"Just remember to deliver her to her cell when your through, Sargonnis... or you will be dealing with me, not her."

Sargonnis nods wisely at Paladine's warning. "After this, I'd be a fool not to... but you have to admit, it's a chance too good to ignore."

Paladine laughs heartily. "Who says I'm leaving. I just might want to stay and watch, you know..." but he winks at Kerobian to show he is only teasing.

Takhisis though is livid, swearing a blue streak, using words Kerobian never even knew existed, describing parts of her siblings anatomy that truly do not need to be described, she struggles frantically to get away. Sargonnis's mouth turns up in a wise grin as he steps forward to deliver the necessary punishment.

And Paladine gathers the two lions close and ports all three of them out of the room and up on top of the once grand fortress. He is laughing so hard, he can barely fly.
