Tam wrinkles his nose and suggests that Kero please use the pan because he really isn't feeling up to giving him another bath just yet.

Tam frowns a little bit. "You haven't done it yet, but as you get older you might be able to. It's moving from one place to another, with your mind, not your body. I do it all the time. So does Hope."

Tam looks at Sharmistra and frowns. "We never checked to see if that dang shard was contaminated with anything but the mundane. And it's already been tossed, hasn't it?"

With a troubled expression the healer nods in agreement.

Tam looks at him thoughtfully. "Is there more than one voice or only one?" he asks suddenly.

Tam frowns. "And does it tell you to do things that are wrong?"

Tam nods with a sigh. "Then I would say it isn't an evil voice... just one that wants you to do things differently. So if I were you, I'd listen to what it says, but only do those things you want to do. Don't let it boss you around, okay. "

Tam chuckles warmly. "Actually, teleportation is a skill, an ability... not magic. Give time and effort many people can use magic. They may not be good at it or able to do a lot, but if they study hard enough and follow the spells in the books exactly as they are written, they'll achieve something. Not everyone can teleport. In fact very few can. Porting is also very very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. You need to picture where you are going with complete accuracy or you may find yourself half in and half out of a wall. Not a pretty sight and quite deadly, I"m afraid."
