  Hello, Uriel.

It seemed as if Vanity had dazed out for awhile but was pulled back at the sudden dound Sythe's voice, "um..sure i don't mind. But i'm really not that much of a picky eater anyways."

"I can't control what my cat does - he is his own person, after all, correct? I won't help you any more than I have to, if that's how you want me to do it." Gunther gave a curt smile and then left to attend to his duties. Charles, however, had no problem cuddling up to the foxboy, as much as it was to Doran's chagrin.

Doran let out a yell of frustration when Gunther left and soon vacated the room in hopes to find a place to get away from the stupid cat. Ha! Idea! Doran would wander about the huge place, slowly making his way to the top floor. There he'd find a room, open a window, and climb out. Slowly, the thief scaled the walls up to the roof, where he'd sit and hope that darn cat wouldn't find him.

Gunther went to the training room and found his teacher there. "Ah, Master, you're here." Gunther bowed politely to him.

"... something is wrong, Gunther. I can see it in your eyes." His teacher looked at him, concerned.

"... I'll tell you later, Master. Right now we need to get on with the lesson."

"Indeed we must." He pulled out a rapier and tossed it to Gunther, who caught it easily. Then they lunged.

Doran was busy tying his hair in a single long braid with a length of cloth he had ripped from his rags of a shirt. After finishing with that, he would likely hear the clash of metal and blinked, wondering what on earth that could be. His fox ears swivvled about, trying to pinpoint the location of said room. If there was a window, he'd find it. He scampered across the roof and listened for a moment before slowly climbing down so he could look at the window.

They had been fighting for only a few minutes, and already both of them had begun to sweat. Gunther's teacher tripped Gunther easily, and when Gunther tried to get away he had a broadsword at his neck. "This is definitely not like you, young one. You're not focusing at all. What's wrong?"

Gunther slowly stood, dropping his rapier with a clunk. "Master..." Gunther's head drooped as he stared at the floor. "It's Doran... the new friend I brought home... he... he's just like Tii'gra, sir... and I want to get close to him, I know I do... but the way it turned out last time... gods, I just don't know what to do..."

Doran watched silently, curiously, as the two preformed their deadly dance. He couldn't hear them, but from the body language he knew something was up. The boy leaned closer to the window, hoping to evesdrop on their conversation. He hoped neither of them would notice him in the window. >_<

"You can skip out on class today, young one. You have too much on your mind." Gunther's teacher slowly pulled the rapier away from the boy's neck.

"Thank you, Master." He bowed quickly and left, going to his room to relax a little and try to sort out his thoughts.

Meanwhile, Gunther's teacher turned to the window and shook his finger in a "that's a no no" manner at Doran. He then smirked and continued his solo practice.

Doran watched Gunther leave, his head cocked to the side like a curious dog. He blinked, seeing that the other man had seen him, and his ears went askew as he tried to make sense of his actions. So what if people didn't like being spied on? He didn't care. Gunther looked upset... Doran thought and climbed away from the window, looking for another to enter the castle with. He didn't know what to do. Sure, he could get clothes from these people, but they'd never give him weapons to replace the ones he lost.

"I have nowhere else to go and I need the protection... guess I'm stuck here for a while," he said, thinking aloud, and sighed, plodding on back to his room.

Gunther laid back on his bed, his thoughts still racing through his mind, with at least a hundred laps to go. He slowly took each one piece by piece and tried to dismantle it as if it were a time bomb about to explode.

"So what kind of a*****e are you?" His new slave scoffed, his dark hair sliding a little out of it's place.

"I'm the a*****e that freed you." Gunther unlocked the cage, stepping into it. "Now, are you going to come with me, or do I have to stand here for the next half hour?"

"Some kind of ******** freedom this is." The slave - Tii'gra, by name - stood, and stormed past him.

The light-haired male shook his head, to clear out that memory, when he was suddenly faced with another one -

"I DON'T NEED YOUR ******** HELP!" Tii'gra snarled, clawing Gunther across the face.

"Well fine. If you don't need my help, then go." Gunther gently wiped his cheek free of blood. "If you don't need my help, then go straight to the gate and walk out. I won't stop you. All you have to do is go." He stared straight at Tii'gra as the other's muscles tensed slightly. Tii'gra said nothing.

Gunther clutched his head, muttering for his fleeting thoughts to stop -

"Tii'gra, no..." Gunther stood still at the doorway, frozen due to the knife in the dark-haired boy's hand.

"I swear to the Gods I'll use it..." Tii'gra noted threateningly, holding it out so that Gunther could see the glint of the blade.

"Tii'gra, stop it!" Gunther stepped forward to take the knife, and suddenly it was in Tii'gra's chest, clean through his heart.

Gunther couldn't take any more. He sobbed, his body slumping forward because it was too unstable to hold him upright.

"Well, if you're not a picky eater, then I'll just serve you up some. Then if you don't like it, then I'll make something else for you." Sythe said, as he opened up a cupboard, searching around for the plates. "now where did I put the plates...?" Sythe said, his voice trailing off as he searched. Truth be told, he had forgotten that he had placed the plates on the island in the kitchen prior to preparing the curry.

The faint sound of footsteps echoed throughout the slave compound that was hidden under the Mansion of the Ribbon. They belonged to a man name Lein. Lein Kaskuo to be specific. He was an odd sight to behold, at least at this moment. He wore a suit and a top hat, wanting to look like one of those rich snobs he had seen coming in here all too often, his kitsune ears hidden under the hat, and his tail mostly hidden under the long-tailed coat. He wanted to throw off any one of the slaves here, wanting to see how they would react. Sure, it was a weird way of getting to know someone, but it was the 'creative-ness' of dressing up as a different person that intrigued him, even if it WAS only for a moment.

Lein had read what each of the ribbons meant as he came down the staricase leading to the slave holding room, but disregarded them. If he was to actually choose one of these slaves to free, it would be for their personality, and not for what they can or can't do. His dark eyes peered about the slave area, seeing some people who he knew would not be an enjoyable person to be around. His eyes did, however, find a slave of interest. She had a ribbon wrapped around her eyes and most of her body, and appeared to be a neko. Looks like she would have a good personality. Lein thought as he walked up to the cage, getting in to the character of being a rich, pompous snob. "You there, slave! Why do you wear that ribbon around your eyes, dare I ask?" This speech was nothing like he usually talked, it was nothing more than a quite sad attempt at being the character he was trying to be.

As Sythe was looking around for the plates, Vanity deciede to have a good look around and take in her suroundings. As she was doing so her eyes landed over an area in which placed upon were probably the very plates that Sythe was looking for. "Are those what you are looking for?" She said as the girl giggled and pointed to an area across from her and laying there were a set of plates.

"Hmm?" Sythe let out as he turned his head around, looking for the place she referred to. Baka. Sythe told himself. "Yes, those are the plates." Sythe said, as he gently started to close the over-head cupboard that he had been rummaging through. As soon as the door had closed, and Sythe took his hand away, pots and pans started falling out, pushing the door open, and falling at Sythe. In an instant, the pots and pans froze in the air, then slowly started returning to their respectful places. Sythe turned around, and took the plates from the island, carrying them over to the pot of curry. "That's one good thing about being telekinetic." Sythe said, smiling as he dished out the curry.

Vanity giggled, "I wonder what would happen if you were to not have your powers everyday." Vanity walked over to Sythe as she smoothed out her dress and happily smiled at him while he spooned out the curry.

She raised her eyebrows, if opening a cabnet caused pots and pans to fall, what would happen if he handled a bunch of dishes? Vanity decided she didn't want to find out, "Here let me help."

"Um... sure." Sythe said, handing her one plate that already had curry on it. He dished out enough for himself on the second plate, and put the top back on the pot. "Now, for the rice." Sythe said, as he spooned out the rice, placing it beside the curry on both plates. "Now we're ready to eat." Sythe said, smiling as he went to the kitchen door, holding it open for Vanity to go first.
