"You look... really cute," Lucas said shyly, amending what he'd been about to say, as he wasn't sure how she would have reacted had he blurted out 'sexy'. He too, had changed his clothes, though he was wearing something quite different and was shirtless, revealing his bruised, yet toned and muscular frame

 LilyLily smiled toward Lucas and blushed deep red. Aw.. thank you, Lucas. Lily drops the towel revealing the grass skirt, then she dipped her feet into the pool water and in no time at all her human legs and feet along with her grass skirt morphed into her light blue tail then slid into the pool's water. After that she swam over to the side where Lucas is then giggled as she's a good swimmer in her mermaid form. Lucas, are you coming in? You look nice. Lily says this as she splashes her light blue tail in the water.

"You're... a mermaid," Lucas said shyly, knowing his voice was startled and awestruck, yet at the same time curious. He carefully and nervously slid into the water. He didn't realize, however, had someone held a microscope to the nape of his neck beneath his thick blond hair, they might have noticed the barely visible and still forming... slits... similar to fish gills. {Hint}

LilyLily swam toward Lucas. Lucas, what's wrong? You look like you've never seen a mermaid before. When I dry my light blue tail it becomes human legs & I get my Light blue tail back when I get my legs wet. But I wonder what it would be like If I stayed human in a small body of water like this swimming pool. That and normally I prefer salt water to change back to my mermaid form. Lily says this as she giggles toward Lucas.

"Ah... I actually haven't, honestly," Lucas said shyly, blushing deeply. He actually found that idea intriguing, though if he was honest, he was curious what it would be like to swim in the ocean. Strangely, it was only small lakes and swift flowing streams or rivers that really triggered his aquaphobia. "I don't know about any of that, though... I've never swam in the ocean... and fast flowing rivers... really... scare me," he admitted shyly, revealing he'd nearly drowned twice in different rivers, once in the Mississippi River, and the second time in the Thames during a severe storm.

LilyLily looked toward Lucas. Lucas, it's only a swimming pool & is this your first time seeing me as a mermaid? Some of us mermaids are naked when we turn human while others keep their shell tops. Sometimes our lower halves are covered with a grass skirt or something when we turn human. Lily says this as she sighed toward Lucas then blushed.

"Yes it is, though I almost certain that... this won't bother me any, at least with panic attacks," Lucas said shyly, blushing deeply. "Ah... I don't really have to know that. It brings to mind... more intimate thoughts," he admitted shyly, embarrassed as he slid into the water, sighing softly as it was a bit warmer than the air.

"Ah... that's just it. I don't really know how to swim well," Lucas said shyly, admitting the truth to why he'd come close to drowning before; he knew how to float and could walk well enough in water, but actually swimming? He wasn't sure how to manage that.

Lucas blushed deeply at Lily's words and actions before he gently took her hands, noticing how soft they were. "I do know how to float, though it's the... more complicated things I can never remember," Lucas said shyly, unaware that if he practiced enough, that his body would remember how to do it even if his mind didn't. He uncertainly shifted his weight so his feet left the security of the bottom of the pool.
