This is how it feels when you take your life back, this is how it feels when you finally fight back...
When life pushes me, I push harder, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Mairi giggled for a moment before sighing softly. My birth parents were of the mind that both public and private school was useless and, between you and me, they were really bad teachers... to the point where I don't really remember what I learned before they took me out. I think I've spent at most... maybe.... three or four months in total on any sort of land in those eight years... until now, she said softly and uncertainly. She didn't want to mention the physical or intimate abuse she suffered, on top of the emotional and mental scars. ','

I have never had a tutor and my birth mother didn't count with her rather... harsh teaching, she said softly as she clenched her free hand, failing to notice the lines of bright red blood trickling between her fingers. Mairi blinked as she heard her mother's voice before she looked at her free hand, seeing the blood trickling between her fingers and over the back of her hand. I'll be right back, she said softly as she set the phone down before she winced as she uncurled her fist, finding her nails had sharper tips. She focused, cutting the flow of chakra as the tips of her nails dulled before she stood, walking nervously towards the bathroom. ','

More than I want to remember... though she always used a serrated blade, she said softly as she grimaced. ','

Mairi dear, then this will be your first time. Pyhrra says this to Mairi as she gets out a pair of nail clippers. Mairi dear, please hold still, this won't hurt a bit. Pyhrra says this as she proceeds to clip Mairi's nails using the nail clippers until they are normal sized at which point she is done then rinses Mairi's nails with warm water then dries them off.
