As Ambra turned around the corner she saw her friends fall down a chasim that opened up in the floor in front of them. "Oh no!"

But then she saw Aelgeirr trapped behind a gate with three goblins and decided that he needed help. With them being so close to the elf she could not hit them with her fire so she tried to freeze one of them instead.

Standard Action: Ambra casts Ray of Frost at S1, 21 Vs Fort, 5 cold damage on a hit and the target is slowed to the end of my next turn.

Thork, you can't quite make out things that clearly, since it was barely bright enough in the tunnel above (and hey, there's smoke up there, starting to accumulate near the ceiling). Here's what you can tell, though:

1.) You can see the area you fell from pretty well. It looks like the floor opened up on both ends of the hall, trap-door style.
2.) There is a thin, barely-visible slit of light near the floor along the western wall. You doubt a human like Mercy would notice it.
3.) The bumpy things, you think, are people.

You still have a minor action left, if you want it.

As a goblin attempted to fire an arrow off at little Ambra, Aelgeirr took the opportunity to jab his sword into the blasted thing's sternum.

Ambra gave a little yelp as she was struck by the bolt. She put her hand up where she she had been hit and pulled it back to see blood. Her own blood! She felt her ancestral rage build up inside her tiny body. With a gaze like fire she stared down the little goblin. Flames leaped from her body to the one who had struck her. "You little worm! How dare you attack me!"

Free action: Infernal Wrath

Trigger: An enemy within 10 squares of you hits you.

Target: The triggering enemy (S1)

Effect: The S1 takes 11 Fire damage.

((This is not my turn. I want to see if this kills the goblin first))

Ambra, your fury causes the goblin to go en fuego! It shrieks in pain from the burn! The goblin remains standing, but it looks like it could be as easily defeated as any minion...

Surprised at her own outburst of anger, Ambra gets back control of herself and noticed to her disappointment the goblin was still standing. She casts another ray of frost at it to try and finish it off.

Thork picks up what he thinks is his weapon, but the quarterstaff he picks up proves unsuitable for making headway through the apparently metal door before him. Both he and Mercy would hear an echoing CLAANNGGG when he whacked it with his stick.

Mercy would stand from where she landed, and making out the nearby large form of the half-orc, she utilized her divine power to bolster the two allies up above. In the radiant flash of light, for a moment, Mercy would see that they weren't alone down here; four medium-sized humanoid bodies lay at the bottom of this pit with them. The flash wasn't long enough to get a good look at them, but... well, let's just say, Mercy probably knows the source of the bad smell now.

Up above, Ambra's rage manifests itself and burninates one goblin; however, in an effort to finish it off by her own hand, she missed completely. No longer divinely inspired by his own masculinity, the Eladrin Aelgeirr whiffs on his attempt to finish the goblin off as well. Despite her attempt to finish off one of the goblins, her burst of fury made the final goblin soil itself.

The DM's dice apparently sated themselves with enough sacrifice for today, and all three goblins whiff on their own attacks against Aelgeirr with their swords; though two of the attacks miss by a hair's breadth.
