"Kallman, Kallman where are you!"shouted Forest but no response all through the swamp. Daceria called Forest over to her.
"Look." she pointed to the bandana floating in the water.
"Do you think he's dead?" asked Forest.
"No, not dead hiding more like it. He doesn't want us to find him, I can sense his anger and his fear but mostly his jealously. He is jealous that Ferin has Hanna's love. A wolf girl can tell these things."

Between the two of them, Hanna and Ferin carried Kai into the March Hare's Cave.
"I don't think this is a good idea," Ferin said, looking around. the cave was dark and damp, like most caves, but had a feral smell he didn't like. He wasn't sure that Hanna was even right about the wolf boy, but he trusted her, even after all of these years.
"Look, this is the only place they won't come, alright? We can't put them in danger, and we can't let Kai get away." Hanna used vines to tie him to a stalactite that reached from floor to ceiling. "Ferin?"
"Tell me what you need."
"Make them stronger than steel. That will hold him when he wakes. Even if he's angry."
She watched him spell the vines, then turned away, beginning to pace. There's a way, she thought. There has to be a way to bring him back.

::Kallman sat up in his waterfall hiding spot looking down at the two girls that had picked up his bandana. What was the point. It didn't matter to him if he lived or died. He would stay there and let the swamp take him prisoner but then he heard a call.::
"Brother." ::Kallman's ears perked up and a spirit was calling to him. "Brother please help. Keri has turned me evil, brother please help me." begged Kai's spirit.
::Kallman stood and jumped down to the girls and kneeled at their feet.:: "I will help to bring my brother back but nothing more. After that you must swear to let me go as I wish."
"Sure." smiled Daceria.

I will be posting for foreveryday for a while. He's busy.
Kai was beginning to wake.
"Let me out," he demanded, struggling against the magicked vines.
"Dún do chlab!" Hanna snapped, whirling on him. "You're an idiot, you know that? I can't believe you kissed the witch."
"Leave her out of it," Kai growled, and his eyes grew redder still, like he was about to transform.
Without realizing what she was doing Hanna lashed out with her mind, throwing a bolt of white-hot energy at Kai's aura, which flared dark red and shrank, leaving him outlined in red. Like water over a flame Kai's eyes returned almost to normal, but Keri's magic still haunted them like ghost.
"What did you do to me?" Kai gasped, going still with the shock. He couldn't transform! "She'll kill you for this!"
Hanna staggered into the cave wall and fell, gashing her shoulder on a rock as she hit the ground.
Ferin was by her side in three long steps kneeling. "What just happened?!" he snapped, helping her sit up.
"Dram..." Hanna whispered, leaning against the cave and holding her shoulder, trying to stem the blood.
"Hanna," Ferin said, harsh and precise. "What just happened to you?"
"He...heck if I know...demon's teeth," she swore, squeezing her eyes closed. Pain burned behind her eyes and seared her shoulder. She opened her eyes again and ignored the pain, brushing Ferin aside and crouching in front of Kai.
"You're going to tell me exactly what she said to you," she murmured coldly. "Exactly what you were meant to do."
"And if I don't?"

"Why should I tell you?" smirked Kai.
"If you don't I'll kill you." snarled Hanna. She was sick of this and sick of Keri's little tricks.
"I was sent to kill him." replied Kai smirking.
"Who?" asked Ferin.
"Kallman."

::Kallman, Daceria and Forest rushed to where Kai's sent was coming from and as they got there. Kallman heard their conservation.:;
"Not that you'll miss him anyway so just let me go." smirked Kai.
::Kallman could not believe his ears. Keri had turned Kai evil to kill him? There was no way Kai could do that even in wolf form. Kallman was twice as strong. Keri sent him to kill himself but why?::
"Hanna." smiled Forest and Daceria walking up to greet her. Kallman stood there frozen. Ferin had the courage to approach him.
"You're the only one who can turn him back."

(Okay, this is some more conversation before they enter the cave)
"Dram!" Hanna cursed. "Kai if you so much as lay a finger on him I'll do worse than kill you," she snarled, grabbing his shirt collar and feeling it tear in her grip.
"Hanna, think for a minute!" Ferin said, keeping careful distance. He had never seen her so angry, and he knew bad things could happen when she was like this.
"If you hurt him," she snarled quietly, "I'll bind you to your human form. Forever."
"You can't do that, it's not possible," Kai snapped, but fear rose behind his eyes.
"Yes, I can," she replied, feeling the power in her veins and knowing it was true.
(After the others have come in)
Hanna took a deep breath and forced herself to calm.
"Hello Daceria. Forest," she said, twisting her fingers in her usual greeting. "I suppose you know already that there's something wrong?"
"Yes. We heard everything."
Hanna closed her eyes briefly, then turned to look at Kallman. In the last five minutes, she had threatened to kill and bind his only brother. Was that another betrayal somehow? Even if it was to save his life?
"You're the only one who can turn him back," Ferin said, pointing to Kai. "I still don't understand how it happened."
"It was Keri's lipstick," Hanna said, then realized she hadn't told him about it before...
"What lipstick?" Kallman asked.
Hanna reluctantly took Keri's lipstick from her pocket and threw it to him.
"She...used something like it...before. On you."

::Kallman read the label, when someone is kissed it turns them evil until the kiss of true love or someone who loves them can break the spell. Kallman crushed the lipstick in his hands as he slowly approached them. He kept glancing at Hanna just looking at her made him want to turn back and run. He braced himself and looked to Kai.::
"Brother please you aren't not meant to be evil." stated Kallman trying to knock some sense into his little brother.
"Hmm. I have no family. I obey Keri." demanded Kai and Kallman slapped him in the face, like only he would. Kai woke up and look startled as Kallman was now smiling.
"Man, I was hoping I didn't have to do that." smiled Kallman.
"Brother, where am I and why am I tied up?" asked Kai confused. He couldn't remember a single thing as Ferin released Kai from his bindings and Kallman embraced his brother as he began to cry.
"Next time, you're taking me with you so I can kill that witch." smiled Kallman kissing him on the cheek. "For no one messes with my family and lives another day."
"What about Charlie?" demanded Hanna.
"There's only one solution. I will go after Jeanette and kill her and maybe that will break the spell." stated Kallman clenching his fists.

Something tells me this isn't going to work so well, she thought, dread creeping in on her.
"Hanna," Ferin said suddenly, staring at her oddly. "What's wrong with your hands?"
She balled her hands immediately into fists, hiding her fingertips. "Nothing. I--I'll let you be," she muttered, leaving the cave. The longer she stayed, the more likely Kallman would go. If she went too far alone, Kallman might follow...
Her thoughts ran in closed circles, winding tighter and tighter until she wanted the hit something, to distract herself.
"Where are we going now?" Ferin asked, slipping quietly up behind her.
"No where. You're staying here."
"You've got to be--"
"I need some time alone. I just died," she said, cutting him off.
"But..."
"I will be fine."
Ferin knew better than to follow her farther. Instead he watched her walk away, eyes clouded.

She stacked the stones one atop another, carefully. She finished the alter and lit a small flame, dropping into it dried tobacco leaves and cedar shavings, then sat back on her knees, watching the smoke rise.
Hanna sighed.
"I don't know what to do," she said at last, holding her hands out in front of her. Her fingertips were deep blue, and the color was beginning to spread, though slowly. "Whatever is happening to me is--happening. Kallman will die, Ferin may die...I am lost, Great One. What do I do?"
She waited in silence and closed her eyes, the better to hear.
You know what is happening, a voice whispered.
Hanna dropped her head into her hands, almost despairingly. "I was afraid of this," she whispered. "But why is it happening? I don't understand."
You have a journey to make, Waterchild. You know this, too.
"Yes," she sighed. "I guess I do. But both...What will they do? Can I not spare them?"
You cannot stop what is happening, Hanna. But it is not an end. There will always be another beginning, and you have work to do.
"I trust you. But what about them? What will they do?"
The future is not yours, Little One. They are in my hands.
"I suppose that's the most I could have asked for," she replied. "I just wish...I don't know. Why aren't things simpler?"
And where would the fun be in that? the voice answered, and she knew he smiled.
"Will I be able to help them?"
Yes.
"When?"
You will know when the time comes.
The altar flame burned out and Hanna stared at it for a long time, thinking about the answers the One Voice had given her.
What now?
She brushed the ashes from the stones and stood, walking away.
Be brave, Hanna.
She smiled. "Thank you."

::Kai looked to Kallman.::
"Are you crazy or just insane? She's a sorceress. She'll kill you before you land the first punch." stated Kai knowing about magic himself.
"Do you have a better idea?" asked Kallman.
"As a matter of fact I do. Let me capture you." smiled Kai.
"What? Why?" asked Kallman.
"Because they think I'm evil and I can tell them I couldn't kill you and then when you think we have them fooled break free and pounce a sneak attack."
"It's so crazy it just might work. Allright I surrender." smiled Kallman putting his hands behind his back as Kai handcuffed him.::
"You sure I can break out with the key?" asked Kallman.
"Seriously brother they're fake handcuffs just pretend." smiled Kai as he drew his sword and pointed it to his back. "Walk."
::Kallman walked and thought of Hanna. Would he ever be able to truly help her. He already found out he couldn't love her but no matter what he still cared about her and wanted her like nothing he had ever wanted before.

Dizziness hit Hanna like a smashing fist, knocking her to her feet. For a while, she wasn't sure how long, everything went black. When she woke, the sun had moved only a little, but she was alone.
She rolled over into a crouch and stood very slowly, wary of her balance. Without looking she removed gloves from her pouch, sliding them over her hands, which were almost completely blue now. She needed to find water. That might stave it off for a while.
It was on her way to the nearest stream that she saw Kai and Kallman. The gloves crumpled over her hands as she balled her fists. That can't be good, she thought, resolving to follow them. She paused for only a moment in the stream, drinking and soaking up the water, before her hurrying to catch up, following the two brothers from a distance.

::Kallman continued to walk at a steady pace::
"I sure hope you're right about this." he grunted. He trusted his brother more than anyone else.
"No worries bro, I won't let the big bad sorceresses eat you." laughed Kai as they entered the land of the dead where Keri stood inpatiently.
"Do you not understand that word Dead?" asked Keri to Kai point a sword to him. He humbled at her feet. Hanna was watching from a safe distance.
"Forgive me but I could not kill him. I'm not strong enough so I thought I let you or Jeanette do the honor."
"Kill him, no no no. Put him in the dungeon, I can make use of him." smiled Jeanette emerging in a silk dress that barely went to her knees and revealed quite a bit at the top. Kallman almost broke out of the handcuffs but then he remembered if he tried now they would surely kill him. He would have to play their game at least for now. What had he gotten himself into.

Hanna smothered a groan as Jeanette appeared.
I thought I got rid of you! she wanted to shout. How had she gotten back so quickly? And how was it that through everything those two had done, thier so-called masterhad not made an appearance? Now that she thought about it, it had been a long time since she had seen Kedro. What was he up to?

::Keri and Kai went one way and Jeanette took Kallman to the dungeon where she realized the handcuffs were fake. She quickly threw him in the dungeon and stepped inside with him. She used her magic to chain him in magical chains against the wall.
"So you thought you could trick us? Ha! Wolf boy you have no idea how powerful I am boy. Or maybe I should show you. Sir please sir step out of hiding."
::A man with fox ears and a tail stepped out of the shadows and glared at the prisoner.::
"Jeanette you know I hate it when you play with your toys." smirked the man.
"Oh Manikai I thought I would let you beat some sense into him for me." smiled Jeanette kissing him.
(Oh no Jeanette and Manikai working together. Yikes~!)
"All right. Hand me the whip. He'll be your slave in less then an hour.'
