When Leora's sister yelled, several rows of crimson eyes all turned to herand a few vampires bared their fangs, thinking she was food.
Alexis stepped between them though to show she wasn't.
Lance glanced at Kailee, his arms still wrapped around his new bride before he looked back at Leora with a small grin.

Kailee curled up to her mother, seeing the eyes on her, blushing from embarassment, and feeling a bit of fear as well.
Leora's mother held her daughter tightly.
Leora looked back at Lance, giving a smile which quickly faded as she realised who she was smiling at as she quickly released it, taking a step back.

People began to ignore Kailee as they started to clap and cheer for the new married couple.
"You can't really say this wedding was that horrible now can you . . . honey?" He muttered then chuckled at the last word.

Leora rolled her eyes at him. "Oh shut it." she muttered back to him scornfully. And yet . . . she couldn't get that kiss out of her mind . . .

"Come on, you know you liked it . . ." He said referring to the kiss as he took her hand and led her down. He couldn't get the kiss of his mind either. He also glared furiously at Eric who was staring at Alice and Sky and licking his lips hungrily.

"How do you know I wasn't just acting for the crowd?" she muttered back with a bit of a smug grin, keeping pace with him.
As soon as she was allowed, Kailee left her parents and headed over to Alice and Sky, picking up Sky happily, giggling a lot and making faces as she said just how 'Yucky' Leora's and Lance's kiss was.

"Because you know as well as I do, that you don't care much about what this vampire crowd thinks of you."He said with a grin and nudging her playfully.
Sky meowed as Kailee picked her up and Alice laughed with delight and said to her."Hey Kailee, you know if you want to stay with us longer then you could stay with us and leave your parents . . ."

Leora glared at him. "I don't like you!" she emphasised and then tried pulling her hand out of his and picking up her pace as she started to storm off to the limo.
Kailee's face lit up. "You mean it?!" she asked excitedly, but then bit her lip. "But . . . but Mommy and Daddy will be sad . . ." she said worriedly, looking back over at where her parents were.

Lance looked disappointed and easily caught up with her."Oh come on Leora, you know I was only kidding, don't get so pissed." He said looking down at her.
"Well . . . we would be sad if you left too . . ." She said looking down.
Sky hit Alice with her paw.

"Hmph!" Leora huffed as she looked away from him. "I don't want to talk to you right now." she said angrily.
Kailee bit her lip. Then she got an idea. "Oh! You can come visit me!" she said happily and then got another idea and set Sky down and ran over to her mother, pulling out a portable camera out of her mother's purse with triumph.
Leora's mother smiled amusedly at her youngest daughter. "What are you going to do with that sweetie?" she asked.
"I'm gonna take a picture of my friends!" she said happily as she started heading back to Sky and Alice.

Sky and Alice looked at each other slightly worriedly now."Kailee, you can't take a picture of us, you can't even tell anyone we even exist. When you leave this world humans forget all about us because, if they knew, they would kill us."She said.
"Leora." He said as he grabbed her shoulder."You wouldn't want to act like that with your new husband do you?" He asked.

Kailee bit her lower lip. "Then . . . then that's even more of a reason to take your picture! And I won't kill you, honest!" she was tearing up now, torn between her friends and sister and her parents. "I . . . I . . ." she then ran sobbing to her mother, clinging onto her.
Leora's mother frowned worridly at her daughter and held her reassuringly. "Kailee, sweetheart . . . what's wrong baby?" she asked.
Kailee sobbed. "I-I don't want to leave mommy! I don't wanna forget my friends! But . . . but . . . I don't wanna leave you and daddy neither." she sobbed out.
((FYI, Leora's father is outside the chapel in a limo, just so you don't think that I've forgotten him.))
Leora glared at him. "I don't care if you're my husband or not, there's no love in this marriage!" she said angrily and pulled away from him, now running out of the chapel, needed to be away from Lance . . . and sort out her feelings about that kiss . . .

Lance stood in the door way looking slightly flustered as he watched her run for the limo and sighed."She's not getting away from this place without taking my limo . . ."He said as he began following her in a slow walk.
"Unless you two stay here, Kailee's having a very hard time trying to decide between us."Alice said to Leora's mother as she flew over to her.
(I just thought Leora's father left like her mother said.)

Leora's mother bit her lip as she thought it over. "Well . . . I guess we could . . . I mean . . . as long as you have internet, and a functioning computer, I could do my work from home . . . and . . ." she looked down at Kailee, "your dad could quit his job . . . I make enough income to support us as it is . . . so . . . I don't see why we can't all stay." she said with a smile.
Kailee sniffled. "You . . . You mean it?" she asked hopefully, looking up at her mother.
Leora's mother smiled and bent down to Kailee, rubbing her nose against her daughter's. "Yep." she said.
Kailee giggled, smiling happily. She wouldn't have to leave! She quickly hugged her mother. "Thank you mommy . . ."
Leora ran to the limo and got in, slamming the door behind her as she broke down in tears, her head in her hands. This was not how she had pictured her ideal wedding. Then again, she had never even imagined that she would have married a vampire . . . It wasn't even the fact that Lance was a vampire that was bothering her . . . he just . . . he pushed her buttons, getting her all riled up and making her angry all the time . . . and she hated being angry so much . . . which made her think that she hated Lance . . . but that kiss . . . what had been up with that kiss?! It completely turned her feelings upside down!

Lance silently walked over to the limo. When he got there, he opened the door and looked at her crying."I'm sorry, Leora. You know I don't mean to make you so mad on purpose, it's just some harmless jokes. I really didn't mean to get you to start crying." He apologized looking at her sincerely as he got in and closed the door so they could talk without anyone disturbing them.
"Who knows, maybe Lance will even pay for you guys. He might be a vampire, but he can still be a nice guy with Leora, along with her friends and family."She said with a smile as she lay down on Kailee's shoulder and brushed off her wings.
