Acelyn smirked a little at the knee pads comment, putting her legs over Roulin's lap. "Alright. Thank you. Anyways I think she loves you. Not to be a hopeful person or anything. Just thinking how my sister would." The blonde thought about what he said, contemplating the amount of powers he really had. "So tell me, how many powers do you have? You seem like a handy man when it comes that." Her smile had been plastered on her face, making her seem like she actually had emotions.
Her eyes soon connected with Rou's, seemingly to be looking into his soul and searching for something. She leaned forward, trying to get a better look at something. "You know I am also sure she will come back to see you some how some way. I mean who could stay away from you? But seriously she was lucky to have someone as caring as you, even if you don't show it." Her eyes began to sparkle as she leaned back, letting Roulin do his work silently.

"Try as you might, you're hopeful. Whether or not you want to be," said Roulin as he looked over to her after taking down his glass of wine with ease. "You're not as emotionless as you seem One. You wear the mask well though." He passed it to her as a request to refill it, then set his attention on the many scrapes over her knees. Nodding disapprovingly, he smirked in the same fashion a doctor would at a kid with the same affliction. When he noticed she was smiling at the many blemishes, he chuckled. The blonde posed a question that drew his sight once more and postponing the procedure for only a moment, he replied. "I have many including an ability similar to yours, but not as many as I need..."
"Be quiet and I'll show you how handy I am with these powers." The young man focused on her knees once again this time gazing down at them with a glimmer of resolve in his eyes. The task would be simple and he was confident that it would go without any problems save for his touch that he knew was cold thanks to the weather. Resting his palms on each of Acelyn's knees, he sighed. The contours of the scars were rough and rigid with age but as they were injuries, they were able to be healed. His eyes squinted in effort as his hands began to glow a color only a few shades darker than his eyes. From the site, there was a hum as his hands tingled lightly.
His fingers spread across the girl's knees and the mounds of damaged skin lowered as if they were being shaved away. After seconds of gripping the woman's upper shins, the glow his power cast faded away and the hum of it died down as well. When he lifted his hands, the markings were gone and Acelyn's knees were as they should be. Turning his gaze to her, he clapped his hands once, his grin beaming triumphantly and said, "Aimee says hi. Umm, if you had any knee problems, they're probably gone now. I haven't had to heal anyone in a good while, so I'm rusty."

Acelyn watched him heal her scars of old, a small tingling sensation she knew at a small age came back while the procedure was happening. Her smile came back as he finished, looking at the well done job he did even for being rusty. "Wow. Thank you. You know, with that power, I am surprised Aimee didn't figure out how to give life or take it away." The blonde leaned over and poured Roulin another glass, giving it to him. "Even if you were rusty you did an amazing job, Rou." The girl took her legs off of the lavender eyes boy's lap, her eyes still on him. The young lady stood, walking to the open part of the room and smiling a little. "Let's see how these new knees work." She stretched her leg, not feeling any pain, then lefted her leg to where it was near her head, seeing if there was any pain, which there wasn't. Acelyn smile seemed to fade a little, knowing that she wouldn't have to worry now about her knees but other things now but other things messed with her head.
The whole mask comment seemed to bother her a little though, her eyes down on her wine glass that was empty on the table. They were full of thought, contemplating how to even explain what she was thinking. "One day... I found out the true potential of my power. I never got so mad in my life. I saw emotions as only a hinderance and something that shouldn't be shown. If I would have checked my anger, two people would still be a live. The others were for defense... Someone that looks like me trying to walk down the street attracts to much attention." Acelyn sighed a little, filling up her glass and then swallowing it all down jut as fast as she poured it in.

The young Owl brought his hands together patting them as if he'd just performed a more technical, dirtier task and sat back once again basking in...himself essentially. The essence of his father and his brash conceited demeanor shined within his rather humble grin and gaze. Anyone that knew a Presidiomni knew that the smile coming from them, no matter how quaint, meant more than just a 'you're welcome'. "She learned how if I remember correctly. I'm thankful that it wasn't that that become her sustenance. Being a vampire of life force or something." From his lap went the girl's legs which seemed to be in complete working condition. As he said, if there were any problems, they were definitely gone now.
Her thanking him only cause him to snicker and nod in reply. Rather than boast about knowing the outcome of the procedure perfectly, he opted to watch the girl walk and stretch. Still, even with that little bit of worry taken off of her, he could see there were still things on her mind. That was not his area to inquire. "Hmph. It was the least I could do for a fellow Owl. Don't mention it alright? Now, I'm assuming by attention, you mean unwanted advances? If so, then I know what you mean by defense.." the Italian trailed off before drinking half his glass of the ruby red liquid. "Sounds macabre. Sounds like what every 'emotionless' person says though. Regardless, I think we've all been there at some point in our lives. Blinded by rage...maybe a few deaths here and there. Listen. I won't judge you Ace, but I will ask that you tell me your story. I'm...intrigued as you would say."

Nik smiled as Cecilia told him her favorite circus act. The acrobats normally were a good act, but not many people liked them the most; there were much more amazing death defying stunts and such to see at the big top. "Good choice, fairly rare that someone chooses the acrobats. They're more of an afterthought to most people. Just something in the background most of the time. Good to know that someone likes my act. Acrobats was where I learned my dancing and I trained my flexibility. I ran with them for probably the longest amount of time before I got to my own act." Nik spun his fork around once and took another bite of his food. He was enjoying himself, he just hoped that Cecilia was, since after all, this was his way of cheering her up. He had asked her about music, and he had asked her about circus acts, what else could Nik ask about? Well anything really, but he figured he would ask something more relevant than what her favorite cheese was. "What's your opinion on humans? Do you like them, hate them, wish they'd stop giving you grief about your skin color?"

Cecilia placed the last forkful of the heavenly pasta in her mouth, chewed for a few seconds, then swallowed before pushing her plate away from her as a traditional indication that she was finished. After washing the main course away with a long sip of her iced tea, she picked up the small dessert menu that was kept at the table in the salt and pepper racks and began to peruse the many Italian sweets. As she did so, she listened to Nik speak of his views on the acrobats and how he had once performed with them and adapted his performance into another talent (in his case dancing) and his flexible fighting style.
She knew that Nik was doing this to take her mind away from...other thoughts and the newbie Herald was quite grateful for what he was doing for her. While other thoughts were at the back of her mind, they were merely similar to a small ringing sound that often resounded in someone's ears after one experienced a loud deafening noise. As of right now, Cecilia was very content. Whether it would last was unknown. The hope that it would was prominent for the Sapphire toned Owl. Cecilia's lips curled upwards in amusement in regards to Nik's next question.
"I have nothing against humans. I guess for me, you could say how I feel about them is fifty-fifty. While I am very protective over them, I will not hesitate to put them in their place should the provoke me by attempts to harm me. As far as their reaction to my appearance...to be honest, sometimes I do wish that they would stop gawking at me like I'm some strange new exhibit at a zoo or one of Willie Wonka's experiments gone wrong, but I was born this way. There is nothing I can do to change that. In a way, I'm proud of the way I am. While I do tend to stand out in a large crowd, I couldn't care any less. Yes, my outward appearance is different from almost everyone else's, but I like to think of myself as a normal girl on the inside. I want all the things a normal girl wants even if I don't outwardly express it all the time. So to answer your question, no...the way people see me does bother me." She glanced down at the dessert menu. Yes, she was in the mood for something with chocolate. "So, what do you way? Do you want to order dessert?" she asked curiously. Even if he said no, she would be ordering for herself. There was no better way to top off the evening than with something chocolatey, creamy, and sweet.

((Serena))
Well one thing was sure and that was Serena was not enjoying this meeting or the patting being carried out by Will. However, she did manage a smirk when Will stated that they should make the changes that she had suggested. Her smirk was mostly directed towards the balding man who looked as though he may explode anytime soon and the Vanishing Owl would love to be around when that happened. It seemed as though the meeting was drawing to a swift close, good because Serena had had enough of these men, all of which had pissed her off. Well, perhaps not the elderly man who’s design was old but reliable. Nothing like sticking to what you know and continuing to craft guns the way you know best.
“Ha! Did you hear that Fonzie? He wants a sample of my gun!” The youngest male stood up and proudly presented one of his designs “I am 100% sure that you will find this weapon pleasing. I also look forward to hearing from you in the future” He smoothed his hair out and winked at Serena before flicking a card in front of her “It has been fun doll face, perhaps we can meet up at some point. Share ideas over a few drinks. If you’re lucky I may let you handle some of my more privategoods~” This guy was clearly confident, but his pretty face couldn’t cover is shitty attitude…
The Vanishing Owl watched as the men left the tea room. Of course the bald guy couldn’t leave without mumbling some sort of insult first. So Serena ‘innocently’ stuck her foot out and sent him staggering into the doorframe which greeted his face with a nice thud. He rounded on Serena looking like a ball dog chewing on a wasp, but before he done anything he seemed to remember where he was and promptly exited before he could embarrass himself any further. “Nice guy…” Serena murmured with a small smile. Her attention was then placed onto the gun the idiot of the four had left behind and something clicked…
“That gun….I know that model…” She picked up the weapon and stared at it intently with wide eyes. She traced a finger along the handle and blinked a few times trying to remember where she had seen this weapon before. And then it hit her like a ton of bricks. “Hito…” She jumped up from her seat so quickly that it toppled over, she was ready to pummel the brunettes face in for copying a design…but before she could even step outside the sound of gun fire echoed around the garden. The target was most definitely the young man for he fell to the floor in a crumpled heap no longer moving.
Serena stepped outside scanning the area for some sort of sign of who had fired the shot. Her heart was beating faster than usual at the thought of seeing a very old friend. The person who had taught her nearly everything she knew about weapon handling…but knowing him…he was already gone. “Hito-Chan…” Serena couldn’t even recall the last time she had seen him and knowing that he was close by and alive was comforting…she was just slightly disheartened that he had not stuck around…But, their relationship was buried long ago in the past and there was no use digging it up now…
((NPC---Sebastian))
Sebastian frowned when Myra declared that he was a liar. He shrugged unable to deny that he was a liar most of the time…“Ah but this time I am telling the truth…” He watched her steaming and could even picture devil horns and smoke appearing around her golden head of hair. It was as he stared that she attacked. Like a tightly coiled spring being released, Myra lunged at Sebastian with surprising grace and precision sending him backwards and to the floor. He half expected a few punches, a broken rib or two, some slaps and perhaps a broken nose…but instead he was treated very much like a pillow. This was rather out of character for Myra but Sebastian withheld from making any sort of comment…for now anyways. Instead the dark haired male remained where he had fallen and even wrapped his arms around the blonde female. “So this is what is it like to be Cerberus….” Smirking at his personal thought, Sebastian proceeded to run a hand through Myra’s hair while working out how long it will take to clean up the mess she had caused…

Acelyn sat down slowly, Her eyes on Roulin as she settled down. She looked forward and seemed to be lost in her mind, the sparkle in her eyes had disappeared completely as she figured out what to say. "I was taken from my mother when I was young. She was an Owl too. I was put with Aimee's family then our parents were killed in a raid. They took her and left me in the house a lone." Her hands seemed to shake as she talked, but after stopping she looked down and kept her hands still by clenching them together. She breathed out a little and went on with her story. "The police found me and took me back to the station. There was a man there from the raid who took Aimee away, he was the one questioning me... I got upset. I slammed by fists on the table, the man's chair and him flew into the glass and the table was upside down in the air."
"Doctors took me away and began testing on me, painful and embarrassing tests." The blonde's eyes closed, the girls calm about it had always unnerved anyone she talked to. "The doctor's let me loose and told me to never speak about my powers. Ever. I obeyed and completely forgot about my powers till I was seventeen. I was a senior in high school. I was dating a boy who I thought was the one. One day after two years of being together leaves me for a two bit whore, getting her pregnant as well. I was so angry that one night I went to his house to get revenge."
The girl opened her eyes, looking Roulin in the eyes with cold resolve. "They were both in bed, I had climbed through the window. The girl began to scream when she saw me, the boy was yelling at me to go. He had a wallet with a chain on his desk. I raised my hand, the chain came off and wrapped around the girl's neck. After three seconds there was a crack from her neck being broken and the boy screamed as the dead body hung above him. He ran for the door and I slammed it shut, watching him fall to the floor like a pathetic little girl. I walked up to him, kissed him and took all his iron from his body, leaving little holes all over his body and killing him. I ran that day never to return to normal life. I couldn't after that." The girl finished her story, her eyes still connected with Roulin's and wondering what he would say. She breathed out slowly, her small figure sat almost completely still like a statue, watching.

All the while Acelyn gave her story, Roulin nodded both at each instance with either acceptance or disappointment. The events that sculpted the young woman before him drew empathy out of him and it showed itself in the form of a smile which rested beneath apologetic eyes. His eyes hadn't lifted themselves from the girl as each sad word after another slipped past her lips. Most of what she said he expected just as he thought he would. Still, imagining these things happening to an Owl struck a nerve in him. "A raid hm? I know what you're talking about Acelyn. The tests and things....were never something I looked forward to at their random times."
There were parts that Roulin found cool much like how a child would when watching his favorite action movie. Others made his eyebrow twitch in interest. Specifically the story she chose to end on. The story that essentially turned her into the person she was now. The rational side of him only nodded agreeing with what she'd done. The other half wanted to laugh at how trivial the matter was. One should know never to cheat on an Owl if you weren't one. Then again, the detective doubted that he knew that Ace could rip the iron from his body especially since she was told not to tell anyone. Smirking now, the lavender eyed boy sat watching the girl as intently as she sat watching him.
The girl's jar of iron was revealed once again when Roulin brought it from it's confines. The top was twisted off and the liquid was set afloat once again. As it neared the Acelyn's face, the metal bender crafted from it fingers which first touched the blonde woman's face and them a palm that conformed the smooth curvature of her cheek. The amethyst eyed metallurgist formed a cast of his right hand using the iron as he rested it upon the young woman's left cheek. Comfortingly, his thumb, which he manipulated effortlessly from his position across from her, went over cold, lofty mound that was the side of her face. "Don't know if you've heard this before, but I don't think it was your fault. Needless to say it was a bit extreme. Probably more than any person would've done, but I doubt you'd have been put in that position hadn't it been for him not cheating and you being able to tell people about your power." The Italian reasoned with the younger Owl. "We're both Owls and we've made some connection wouldn't you agree? Anyway, come here. I have something that's bound to make even your stone expression crack."

The blonde young woman rubbed her eyes, the stressed had come back and she just wanted to relax. When she felt the cold iron hand on her face she froze, her instincts were to take it over and make it go away, but for some odd reason it felt comforting, especially coming from Roulin. "Yeah.. It keeps me awake at night if I don't tell myself other wise. It was probably too much and It seems to trivial to do it now." Her eyes connected with Roulin as she turned her body towards him.
"What are you going to do, Rou?" Her soft voice seemed to be under strain as she scoot over towards the lavender haired man. Her mind raced as she was trying to figure out what was going to happen, knowing that only a few things would break her exterior that seemed less cold right now that before. Her eyes were locked onto his, watching his every move with precision so she would know if what he was going to do would hurt her or not.

Roulin drew his hand back and the free floating iron mold of his appendage elongated until it was a cube in the palm of his real hand. The cube wasn't liquid, but if either of the metal manipulators willed it, it would convert easily. After the blonde woman moved closer to him with eyes and a voice that seemed burdened by personal thoughts, Roulin smiled though his eyes remained level and calm. This was his way of diffusing the situation as best as he could. When asked what he planned on doing, the Italian nodded then explained his idea. "Well, your memory of Aimee is of her as an eight year old child. I'm going to show you what she looked like before she was killed. I'm just trying to think of which image to use..."
Like a computer, Roulin went through his memories of the red head french girl that he once knew and loved so dearly. There were many moments he cherished with her, but which to show Acelyn was the question. When the right image made itself clear to him, he looked up at her saying, "Got it" as he rolled his sleeves once again. "Alright Ace. I'm just going to need you to hold still. It won't hurt, but you will feel a small shock. That's it. Umm...if you don't mind..." Just as he'd done with Erin three days ago, he placed a hand on her face and the familiar jolt bit at his fingertips again. After that, he rested his hand beneath her hair against her cheek. His other hand arose to do the same, but not before moving a few loose strands of her blonde hair behind her ear. With the setup complete, Roulin looked up to the girl, his patient in this procedure, with a smile and asked, "Are you ready?"

The cold eyes of Acelyn scanned the lavender eyed Owl, her eye brow raised as he mentioned giving her a picture of Aimee when she grew older, something that normally wouldn't be possible. Inside she was excited, almost jumping for joy that she would get to see her sister but on the outside she still had her cold resolved face that hadn't moved an inch. "Are you sure this will work?" She leaned back a little before Roulin had out her hands on her face, feeling a little bit of his pulse through his fingers. As she pushed her blonde hair out of her eyes, the girl sighed having no other choice but to believe him.
"Alright... I guess I am as ready as I will ever be." The cold eyes of the Owl closed, her blonde hair falling in front of her face a little. The girl bit her lip in anticipation at what was going to happen next. I get to see my sister after so long... And when she was grown up... "You know... I wouldn't have minded having you as a brother-in-law..." A small smirk formed on the girls lips as she breathed out slowly, slowing the pace of her heart.

"It'll work. This is the Life Owl here you know?" Roulin responded, his tone as cocksure as his father's. Just from watching the girl's features which twitched with uncertainty at the thought of this procedure, he could tell she'd never met a telepath before nor had she been under the influence of one. His grin as well as his touch, which he made as amiable as he could, were to let her know that literally she was in good hands. Giving no more thought to the outside world, he began to focus and his lavender eyes dulled powerfully into a smokey, light grey swirl...
"Alright, now close your eyes for me...and empty your mind." Upon the request, Roulin began to embed the image of Aimee and him standing in a field, hand in hand, pointing at the stars and constellations overhead. The night air, which Acelyn would be able to feel against her skin soon, was crisp and biting to the touch. Roulin and Aimee in the moving image were clothed for the weather. Each wore a scarf and a thick coat for the stargazing occasion. The tip of Aimee's nose was red and so was Roulin's. The cold had been nipping at it for a while. Their cheeks were red, both of them blushing in each others presence.
"Do you see her? Your sister?" Roulin's features in the realm of the real were expressing satisfaction unbound as he could see the thought as clear as Acelyn could. Each word the two spoke he could hear as well as the emotions he felt that starry night. "She's standing there Acelyn....go speak to her...ask her how she's doing..."

Acelyn closed her eyes as soon as he requested it, emptying her mind ad focusing now. The light grey swirl of the imagine soon focused to see Roulin and Aimee, watching the night sky. Aimee had always been fascinated by the night sky, this seemed like the perfect place for her and him. The blonde felt the cold wind biting her bare skin, wrapping her arms around her for warmth. She watched her sister point at the velvet sky, her read hair flowing in the wind like a red flag. She is just as beautiful as I thought she would be... Her porcelain skin, her red hair, her eyes.... Everything.... The young woman took a couple of steps forward in the wet grass, her teeth chattering a little in response to the cold.
As Roulin told her to go talk to her she faultered, her eyes welling up with tears that she hadn't felt in so long. On the outside, tears were streaming down her porcelain cheeks, on the inside she was wiping them away, trying to keep herself from getting red eyes. "Alright..." Acelyn wandered slowly up to the red head, keeping as quiet as she could for a couple of minutes. She heard Aimee's velvet voice, almost like a French Angel. She hadn't heard her sister talk for over 12 years, now she could hear it. "Aimee..." She watched the red head turn and smile a bright smile, one that could melt the heart of jack frost himself. "How are you, Aimee? I miss you so much..." The blonde started crying, trying to keep it in as much as possible. She watched as Aimee drew closer to her, putting her hand on Acelyn's cheek.
"I've been around, watching the days roll by and everything unfold up here in my peaceful sanctum. I missed you too, you have grown up to be a wonderful person..." Acelyn felt her sister hug her, the instinct to cry more came and she obeyed it, holding her older sister tightly as she sobbed. In the real world Acelyn was sobbing as well, her body shaking as she did so.

((Myra))
Meanwhile Myra just lounged on top of Sebastian. "Mmm... how many more broken bones do you want? :3" she asked playfully as she lay on top of Sebastian. And that was teh end of the "cuddling." With another smack in Sebastian's face, Myra got up. "Hmph. Make me cookies." But the thought of cookies reminded Myra of her broken dish set. She twitched again...and launched Sebastian through another wall courtesy of a pointed heels.
((Will))
Will simply sipped some tea as the men left. Tea that Serena did not pour. He didn't lift a finger or a head when Serena tripped the bald man. He remained relatively silent as Serena examined the guns and recognized one of the models and then jumped up like a scared bunny rabbit. He took another sip of tea and didn't even bat an eye at the sound of gunfire cutting the fourth man down. All it did was quicken the steps of the other men. You could have been less discreet and waited...hmmmm.... but it served its purpose.
"Shall we say justice has been served?" Will remarked with a smirk although clearly the statement was a bit out of character and he knew it. It was more along the lines of something Dante would say. The devil still spoke the remark rather sarcastically though, making it a more Will-like statement. "Now, I do believe we are due at the hot springs." Along the way, they would walk pass Sebastian and Myra.....
