romesilk I went with molten lava because when I read it, I immediately had an idea about a painting methodology that might work to capture the idea and I wanted to try and see if I was right! Not only was I right, but with a very small bit of editing in post, I think it ended up looking quite fantastic! Definitely conveyed what I was attempting to. ^^ http://i.imgur.com/BgZ0k.jpg This really looks amazing! I just love the way this looks! You did an awesome job.

Nikkic87 I like the one with the ship best. The design feels more professional and for me, seems to carry a more serious tone. Hmmm, thanks for your input! Now it's a tie. XD I did some things on the ship design kinda quickly. If I were to actually decide to use it I would take a more serious approach and actually measure out the dagger rather than just quickly using the polygon lasso tool, etc. XD

Shestval Hey, you think we could get some "finish an earlier picture" days coming up? I'm starting to get a bit overwhelmed with the amount of things I want to finish but don't really have time to, what with having to start a new picture every day. hehe XD it was already planed before I read this! But yes we'll have one comming up : )

I definitely went classified_fu after burning_eyes <-- then when I turned on the laptop to see 12:26AM
... and I stared at it like an idiot for a whole minute.
I scrolled through the entire last page to see no one posted, and then FINALLY realized...
12AM = midnight, not noon. XP;;
*My deadline over here is in noon- timezone ftw* ;D
I think another part of the fright was... if it was noon, I would have slept for 18 hours! xD;
Yes, sorry but we won't be accepting post of older updated post for the current daily theme unless its specified as a day that you can go back to an old drawing and make it better. So for any other day, I'm affraid you'll need to draw up a new theme. Sorry.

I have been finishing some pieces without having it be the theme, but I am often pretty tired of art by the time I'm done. XD
