Sharmistra walks in just before true dawn and give Mica a gentle shake before checking up on her patients.
"How was Talesian? Did he seem coherent when you woke him. I assume so as you didn't come to get me." she says running her hands through the fur on Kerobian's back.

Her eyes widening she hastens to wake the leonine bard. After several tense moments he cracks an eye and groans.
"I'm awake... I'm awake... where's the fire?" he grumbles sitting up, wincing slightly as he does so. "Seeing Sharmistra's worried expression he looks about for Kerobian and seeing the bandages about his middle panics.
"What happened?" he roars jumping up and standing over the cub protectively.

It's okay, Tally....Kero had a suden bout of appendicitis, and we did some quick surgery, that's all...

The winged white lion stares at him with indignation. "Appendix... he had an appendix? And you didn't think to tell me he did? What else does he have or doesn't have that maybe I should learn about?"

Tam glares at him. "No... but I was told.. quote... unquote... that Kerobian would probably be as healthy as a horse as he had a very strong immune system. Now had you said instead... 'Hey Tam, the cub can come down with many of the same ailments you do... but probably won't.' I might have been looking for it. What if we had been in the field and you had been too busy to come if we called on you. It has happened you know. I never would have thought of that possibility."

Kero is immune to many diseases...mostly involving viruses...but he is not immune to certain ailments...and if you really need me, take a drop of Kero's blood, and throw it on the ground....I'm summoned whenever his blood is spilled...

Tam snorts through his nose, refusing to concede the argument, but also not wishing to wake Kerobian up. He sniffs him carefully and then curls up about him, resting his head on his paws. Looking up at Sharmistra and Mica he rolls his eyes. "Don't you two have a sunrise service to attend?"
Stammering quick farewells, the two priests flee the icy chilled atmosphere of the clinic for a region a little more hospitable.

Okay, Tammy....Kero should be fine, now that he has no appendix...the only other disease he's really susceptible to is rabies....though watch his tonsils as well...yeah, we have them...and if you think he's been exposed to a disease...get him vaccinated, simply to be on the safe side...probably not needed...but better safe than sorry.
