A secondjbright streak joins the first and he hears the voice of Paladine though at a distance.
"Tamara, my people need to rest, ere we move on."
The Goddess of Life nods grimly and turns to leave. "In two days time we will march. Pray to whatever god or gods your worship that we are indeed victoriousl. If this strike fails..." Her words hang ominously in the air between them.

Tamara glares at him, jerking away from his touch with a display of disgust. She nods savagely and flies back towards the army behind her.

*Kero shrugs...the goddess of life would have to come before him in time, as well...all things eventually bowed to death, and made their journey through his realm...though he wonders what is so disgusting about him...and he moves to rally his troops, wondering why she won't accept the wisdom he has to offer*

*Kero's author hears the words, but chooses not to relay them to his character, who by now has moved his troops into a resting position, awaiting the order to move out...dice and card games have started up, while the worms are wrestling beneath the paths...the Morkoths have started up a game of liar's dice, into which Kero and Hopian have joined, waiting for something to happen...Hopian starts the bid*

On the eve of the second day, just as his armies were settling in for the night, two dragon come flying into toward where he and Hopian are sitting... one gold, one silver. The gold's scales are dulled with time, while the silver's shines like a star.

*Kero tentacles are twitching...but they soon still...Hopian, however, is a little high strung...he's losing their current game of hangman...Kero almost always wins...he knows too many big words...*
