"Every great oak was once a nut that stood its ground" -Mark Twain
"A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicyle" -unsure of origine
This one was said by and english teacher of mine who I absolutely adored. "Only smart people can make stupid mistakes, because when stupid people make those very same mistakes, they are considered normal mistakes."

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened." -- Douglas Adams

"If you come to a fork in the road, take it" -- Yogi Berra
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” -- Dr. Suess
"They tell me that you'll lose your mind when you get older. What they don't tell you is that you wont miss it very much." -- Malcolm Cowley

Make Soap "Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day; to the last syllable of recorded time; and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. " This was said by Macbeth in the play Macbeth, written by Shakespheare. Ooo. All too familiar with that one. Four years ago I had to memorize it for a few points in English class. And I stiiill remember it!

My absolute favorite quote is the Charles Schultz quote that is my signature. I also like (but can't remember the source) one that says "Never argue with a moron, that just brings you down to his level."

Wait and hope It's from the Count of MonteCristo written by Alexander Dumas. I have this quote on my phone so I see it every day. Just helps you get through the rough times, and when everything just seems utterly pointless to you at the moment

As a motto/mantra, not a quote, but an old Hebrew saying: This too shall pass.
For pure enjoyment of words, Robert Frost: Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
