Two more orders came around for the crepes and Chester was set to finish them. He had an hour and a half before lunch break would start and it was a good thing that music was his company, for he would surely become bored with the passage of time. He also made sure to refill the supply of crepe batter since the liquid was going to be run out with the demand. Restaurant businesses could be tiring, but his passion for baking and sweets was strong and it was his goal to make the customers happy, so he had to keep up with that. Sweat was starting to form on his forehead and he had to excuse himself, moving a bit away from the heat of the stove to wipe off the perspiration off his face after removing his disposable gloves. He put on a fresh pair and continued on with the task after the reprieve.

Ansgar Berg Ansgar was about halfway through his crepes when he finally realized just how much he spent on sweets which caused his smile to fade when the fact sunk in that if he wanted to keep buying sugar packed snacks the half-giant would need to find a job. The orders just keep on coming in for the crepes and Chester was gradually getting the hang out of them. Some customers may end up getting a bit impatient, so he had to accomplish the orders with much finesse. At least there was no special occasion except for the half-giant who had decided to stumble by the restaurant just to get a taste of the sweets he had created for today. However, as soon as he was done with the orders, he had to take a bathroom break since he had to pee and he excused himself from the other employees, taking off his disposable gloves and apron before leaving his workstation. But the comfort room was in plain sight so that even the customers would have access to it, so by the time he was close to the door, he was able to get a glimpse of the figure and he internally cringed. S-so tall... It's like I'm just a dwarf to him! Ansgar Berg Just as the half-giant finished his crepes he looked up to notice a short male stare at him for a moment before heading off somewhere, however Ansgar decided to not follow him but when a waiter walked by Ansgar would ask said waiter if he could get the baker to come see him so the half-giant could thank said baker for the food. But while the waiter was informing him that the client had to wait for a few minutes for the talk to commence, Chester was just done flushing and fixing his pants up and his phone rang in his pocket, indicating that there was a call from his mom. The DJ answered, asking what the call was really about, and the woman mentioned that the parents had found a few choices for his dream vehicle. He appreciated the effort, though he promised to catch up to his mom after the shift was over for the day. He sighed after he hung up the call and slipped the phone back into his pocket before washing his hands. The waiter arrived to inform him that the client wanted to talk to him and he was now mortified. Sheesh... Can't he at least wait till lunch break?!? Ansgar Berg Ansgar looked up and smiled when the baker arrived, however Ansgar's smile faltered when he noticed that the baker seemed to be uncomfortable so the half-giant decided to keep it short and quiet "Hello Mr.Baker just wanted to say thanks for the goodies." He took a deep breath before having to face the client who was obviously inches taller than the baker himself. Chester didn't want to hurt the other's feelings, but he had, to be honest as he chuckled sheepishly. "I-I'm obviously intimidated by your height though you have friendly intentions, b-but thanks for liking my treats." And with that, he retreated back into the kitchen, feeling glad that the ordeal was over with a sigh escaping his lips. Perhaps he had gone a bit too far with the words and he hoped that the other wouldn't take it personally. Chester quickly continued on with the task to keep himself focused.

A short time had passed, and he was already done with seven more orders. It looked like the half-giant was indeed slightly offended by what he said and he may have to apologize once lunch break would start. Whether the guy stayed or just left the establishment after their conversation earlier was the outcome he could not see because he was in the kitchen and the place was usually off-limits. He shook his head because he shouldn't let that get to him too much. He still had to do his job after all until he would go home later in the afternoon.

Ansgar Berg Ansgar was sitting in his seat still deep in though when his phone rang, and when the half-giant answered it his face contorted into one of fear. Ansgar would the quietly tell whoever he was talking to that he was fine and that he didn't have a whole chocolate cake for breakfast, the half-giant would then promise whoever he was talking to on the phone that he would phone again later before he hung up. Chester was given two more orders for the crepes and he was set to finish them. This time, his movements were fluid were more finesse as to catch the attention of the other clients who would savor them later. He called out to another waiter to serve them, and since there was a pause after that, he could sit down and take a deep breath. Once again, he had to wipe the sweat off his brow, disposing the gloves before fetching his towel to do the task. Also, the radio suddenly went glitchy with the skipping voices and static and the DJ was not pleased about that. God, no... Not at a time like this. He had to come out of the kitchen to see if the technician was available, having to ask the manager to give the technician a call, but the repair guy's pace was a bit slow as he arrived there after ten minutes with the repair shop being near the restaurant. The expert turned the device off to diagnose the situation before having to fix it.

The baker had to approach the technician to see if there was anything wrong with the radio. If it wasn't due to the client's cautious approach, he may have ended up bumping into him, and that was the last thing he wanted with that dire situation occurring. Once Chester was there, the expert had unscrewed the device to gaze at the internal workings, and at the question, the dude told the DJ that one of the wires were broken and that it had to be replaced. Chester then asked the manager in charge if the person had to shell out the repair fee alongside the payment for the replacement part, and the boss had no choice but to agree on that since it was an essential asset for the business.
