Tattoo Design I always thought an inkblot tattoo would be a good idea (I mean, if I just HAD to get one or die or something) because you can always change your mind about what you think it is without having to actually try and change the tattoo itself somehow. That's the idea anyway...

CynHimawari2828 I Red Panda I CynHimawari2828 Day 2, the finished version and day 3, fruits! I did this one in pastel, anyone (that looks) want to give me some advice on what I can do better for the next time I draw with this stuff? Thanks in advance (and yes, I know I'm not supposed to use my fingers, I only did that for the black part.....really...I'm not lying.. lol ). Not supposed to use fingers? Seriously? o-o At art school we got tormented (F's!!) if we used pastels without using fingers along with it at all. I guess every art school is different. The two that I've been to so far (and I hope it stays like that for a little while longer), professors in there would tell me not to touch the chalk with fingers (that's both for charcoal and pastel). By any chance, have you used a fixative before? Any advice? (I'm scared to try to move the drawing around to much). My art teachers were a bit like that too, they didn't like me using fingers with pastels/charcoal or pencil but they were ok with smudging if you used a tortillon/paper stump. I've never used a fixative before but I used to know someone who would use an odorless hairspray as a fixative (since it was cheaper) and they said it worked just as well. I've never tried it though If you're worried about using the fixative maybe you could scribble some chalk on a scrap piece of paper and test it on that first?

whalewhale I don't know f I can do it today. I got my wisdom teeth out ands it's like aaaarg pain Do not use straws to drink any liquids, no matter how tempting until you're completely healed from the surgery. Also, make sure to have food in your stomach before taking any pain meds that have been prescribed. A friend of mine had his taken out Thursday of last week and barely ate for 4 days and took his meds on an empty stomach. He GREATLY regretted it. Swishing with saltwater after eating helps, just be careful. I ate a lot of bananas, yogurt, apple sauce, pudding, and Chicken 'n Stars soup that comes in the the small microwavable cups.
Sorry for the lengthy post, but having gone through 1 wisdom tooth and a molar pulled, along with 2 other wisdom teeth surgically removed due to severe impaction 2 years ago, I try to be helpful when I can.
Stay hydrated and expect about a month for full healing.
