Viktor huffed as Zelda called him 'dog-boy' like Midna did. "I have a name you know..." he mumbled with a small whine but looked at Midna. "Don't worry I'll protect you..." he thought as he sat closer to Midna and looked around every few minutes. Valven was laying a few feet away.

Valven did not know why he had to protect the little devil imp thing or even who most these people were but as long as he got back to his normal form, that was fine by him. He thought it was funny to name someone dog-boy, so he would use it for now on.
Maybe I should get some info out of this beast, it might even break this silence. He thought.
"Hey dog-boy, why are we protecting this imp anyhow?" Valven asked, trying to break the quiet that settled since the others left.

"My name is Viktor," said the wolf and added, "She was the one who brought us to the princess who is now out trying to get our bodies back. If it weren't for Midna we wouldn't know what to do...we'd probably be dead by now." Looking at Valven he said, "We're also protecting Midna because I guess the princess and her were friends in the past."

"Well it would be easier to insult you with my body back. As for Midna, she seems to have more power then one glance can tell as far as I can see. Her body is a bit too beat up to amuse what her strength really is at the moment," said Valven then he looked to the odd colored wolf with the Midna on his back.
There is something different about that wolf. He almost has a glow to him. I wonder what his story is, or will be. I guess I can only find out with time. Valven thought then he turned back to Viktor
"That is a odd name, dog-boy. Since you were nice enough to blab that off i might as well tell you my own name. It is Valven, I am sure you have heard of me, or might not, who knows?" Valven said then he looked back to the odd clouds.

Rayne took the balls, or rather simply swatted his paws at them to make them roll in the direction he wanted. He figured he would have the urge to swallow one of the balls if he carried them in his mouth. Besides, he need his mouth. His teeth were the best weapons he had.

Zelda flapped off, only now realizing the problem of giving animals without thumbs something to carry. "Be creative!" she said lamely as she soared out of the Spring. It didn't sound like Valven and Viktor- that was his name- were getting alone very well. Too bad. She made a quick left into the village and could almost see the bugs without using her senses.
(Um... sorry about that... here's an idea: Think of the balls (pfft) as glasses, with a little bridge connecting them in the middle. Maybe the animals can somehow get them onto their tails or something, like the cats? I'll have Zelda kill her two bugs quickly and then help the others.)

Andarlo looked up at the bird now flying way to the town and said to himself, "Hmm, improvise. Okay I can do that." He then noticed the small vine thing that the silver spheres had come off of. "Ah ha, that's what I'll do."
He crawled over to the vine and re-attached his spheres to it. "There, now I can carry them on my tail." he slipped his now limber tail through the loop on the end of the vine. Swinging the vine proudly on his tail he turned and left to hunt the insects. "I'll bring it back soon," he said.

"So you do not know a hero when you see one? Well i can not blame you when i look like this." Valven said, still looking at the clouds
This kid does not know my name? I wonder why that is. Something is wrong here. Ever since i got to this odd part of the lands, my name seems to be very unknown. Valven thought as he looked back at the kid
Valven looked back to the sky and felt useless not being able to do anything to help the group. As he looked to the sky, he wondered why someone wanted to rid the world of light.

Viktor looked at Valven and then looked at Link. "Well you aren't the only hero here," he said and looked at Midna's unconscious body.

Zelda flapped, making no noise as she descended on one of the invisible bugs. Her senses were dark, but the bugs stood out... She raked her talons forward and killed it. It squealed loudly and dissolved, leaving behind a little ball of light. Zelda flew through it, feeling it sink into the of the orbs in the Vessel of Light. One down, fifteen to go.

"If you say so, Dog-boy. I wonder how long it will take for them to collect these bugs," said Velven as he looked back at Viktor then to Midna.
As far as Valven cared, he just wanted his body back and then he would part ways with this odd group. With most of his journey, he had been alone. Valven was not about to join a group and let his task go undone. He turned back to the sky and pondered some more.
The more I think about it, the more I want to part ways with this group. Valven thought about this as he stared at the clouds.

Alaci turned to see the other cats behind her, she nodded and scanned the area, making a quick decision, she went left. Alaci focused and honed her senses. It didn't take her long to detect one of the bugs. She crouched and pounced on the bug, she watched it dissolve into a small bubble of light, she moved forward, letting the ball of light fill one of the orbs. Setting down the orbs, she moved her tail, hooking the small vine between the balls on her tail. Alaci smiled, "Well that just made this a ton easier," Alaci muttered, she turned and motioned for the cats to follow her.
Vitia watched the animals that the owl/person left behind talk, she smirked, "Well, that makes this situation easy, just let them do the work, and once I'm human, ditch them and take what they've got." Vitia thought, scraping her sharp talons on the branch she was on, causing long marks to appear on the wood.

Sadly, Coremean had trouble honing his senses. He clearly wasn't used to being an animal still, after all they had been through. He let out a sigh, and followed Alaci, hoping he would be of more help soon.

As Andarlo moved through the forest, he noticed some strange bugs sitting in the middle of the forest floor. "Are those the insects of darkness the princess was talking about? Hmm, I remember her saying something about using my senses to see them. Oh well, time to get to work." He crouched low to the ground and thought about a well timed flame burst to crisp the insects all together. "I had better not mess this up or I could set the forest on fire. Okay now, I see one, two, three, four, wow that's great. At this rate, I be done in no time."
He settled and concentrated on the same feeling he had experienced when he destroyed that black beast. The burning and sulfurous taste returned in the back of his throat, but this time it was more controlled. He released the fire from his belly and a fire ball spat from his mouth and went straight for the big bugs. Three of them immediately disintegrated but the fourth one simply caught on fire and started flying around. "Damn, how did that happen?" Andarlo sprang into action and jumped into the air and spread his wings and flew after the burning insect. He grabbed it in his claw and returned to the place where he burned the other three. He then proceeded to rip the head off the fourth and gathered the tears.
