ShallowPaw padded around camp, so far her mentor has said nothing to her about what to do.The sun shone on the place she sat, warming he fur and making her sleepy."I guess it couldn't hurt to take a small nap."she purred as she curled up in the sun and slowly fell asleep to the sound of her own breathing.

 CloudFang stood up. "Hey you wanna check out the borders? I wanna see StormClan." She said. She padded quickly and bounded towards the StormClan border. NightFlame followed. Close behind.

Mosstar silently rose up to her paws. How long was I asleep! Mosstar quickly rushed out of the cave and there wasnt really any movement in the clearing. " Ok maybe im not so crazy." Mosstar felt really dizzy and went to the fresh kill pile and realized there was only three pieces left. She saw Ravenfeather Shouldnt he be orginizing the patrols? Mosstar thought to herself."Hey ravenfeather! Take Trouttail, Jadefoot, and two others cats with you on a hunting patrol, it looks like there hasnt been one in days!"
Jadefoot looked up and heard about what Mosstar had said about the hunting patrol. He went up to her and said,"Your finally awake! I told Willowpaw to get some fress moss for you, and there hasnt been a patrol in four days because we were all scared and worried that you were not going to wake up."

Troutail heard his leaders words "Yes a hunting patrol where do you think we should go? I was thinking we could hunt near the Nightclan border so we could also check if they've been stealing prey again, what do you think"? He thought that was a good idea since Nightclan had been seen stealing prey before the gathering.

(Hey guys, we need to get posting!!!)
Mosstar heard Trouttails response, yes that would be a great idea, how about ravenfeather you and three other cats to the northern river boarder, and Trouttail, you and three other cats go near the Nightclan boarder." Mosstar started to hum with satisfaction. She quickly went in the center of the clearing, and saw Greenheart. "Hey Greenheart!Take three cats with you to where our boarder meets Stormclans and try to patrol and hunt at the same time, we have been getting pretty slow on our duties."
Arrowshine went with Willowpaw and Greenheart to hunt along Stormclan, she was very uneasy when she was at the square oak, there was a smell very familiar, like mouse near, but when she was trying to distinguish what the smell could have been,Willowpaw was yowling with hrror as tons of mice came attacking us. Then I noticed a black cloud moving in the sky, it was as swift as a hawk chasing its prey, then i realized the black cloud was actually thrushes we hunted and they were dive bombing at us.

Troutail was about to find a few other cats when he saw Arrowshine stare at the sky. He looked up too and saw a flock of birds getting huge. He then realized the flock was headed straight for the camp "Look out!!"

Mosstar saw the birds,"Everyone gointo your dens! Queens protect the kits and elders everyone get down!" The bird were coming at the cats head first, one landed right on top of me, fist I felt fine, then i smelled blood, and then I realized I fell and blacked out. I woke up in a meadowy grassland, Rushstep padded over to me with sad eyes."What happening?Why is the prey attacking us? I need to go back to help my clan..." Rushstep stopped me suddenly."Im here because you lost a life."
"What? I lost a life from those, that prey?" I was so horrified I couldnt believe it. "Yes, now you have seven lives left." Rushstep dipped her head to me. "B-but wait! Why is this happening?" I still couldnt believe it. Rushstep vanished beneath the stars and I regained conscousness and the birds started to fly away, alot of them were dead and was being dragged to the fresh kill pile."Did anyone get hurt?" I asked Trouttail.

"Well I barely got hit, along with one or two others but that's it, no serious injuries. Except for you a bird landed right on you, did you lose a life?" Troutail was worried about his leader among others yet something was a little wierd. "Why did you ask me that, wouldn't you normally ask the deputy"?

Dustmoon saw the birds fly away, Thank Starclan! But then something swept over him,and then realized this isnt over the prey was going to join together,and attack all of the clans.How will we stop this? Dustmoon that in horror.

"Yes I did, but dont tell the rest of the clan, I dont want anybody else getting majorly stressed out." She told Trouttail. Why am I telling him this? Hes just a new warrior, he hasnt even had an apprentice yet. Mosstar thought to herself."I would ask any warrior." Mosstar lied, well sort of, She would tell any senior warrior, but for some reason, she really trusted Trouttail.

Troutail could understand why she didn't want the loss of one of her lives to be known. "Wait, the madness was spread from prey right? So if it makes cats attack blindly shouldn't it make other animals do the same? Such as birds that would just happen to look very appetizing to the clan right now".

(the question means that since cats are affected by the madness prey such as the birds that attacked also should have that. and we have a hungry clan with tons of birds just lying on the ground ready to be eaten.)

CloudFang padded into the camp. To her horror her leader was wounded. She rushed on over and carefully examined the wound. "We need Cobwebs and perhaps Marigold." she said.

 NightFlame padded into camp beside CloudFang. he nodded as he heard CloudFang. He rushed into the medicine cats den. He padded over with Marigold and Cobwebs. He watched as CloudFang made the poultice and applied it to the wound, to stop any infections. NightFlame then put the Cobwebs and pressed to stop the bleeding.
