She tried to compose herself as he greeted her, but she couldn't help the overwhelming feeling of dread. A few moments passed before she was able to speak. "Thank you..." She paused for a moment before looking up at him suddenly "Can,... can I stay with you for a while? ... I know it may seem odd, but I don't know anyone else....I don't want to be alone..."

Van watched her adventurous attitude that she was trying to make and set her package of ramen down beside him as he pulled his right sleeve revealing some sort of strange watch with multiple buttons on the side as he then proceeded to click on one causing a blue circle to appear underneath him as glowed a bright aquatic color."Alright then, Let's go to School."He said as planned on going to the Academy since it had been awhile since he had last been there."Just step on the circle and we'll be transported to my gummy ship."Van said explaining on what she should do.

He said as he tried to comfort her as he clicked on another button on the watch causing them to be engulfed by a blue column of light within the circle teleporting the two of them to his gummi ship which wasn't that different from standard gummi ship's,Once this had happen he would then grab the package of ramen he set down and move it beside on the walls of the ship, After doing so he then he sat down on the drivers seat of the ship as a steering wheel materialized once he sat down as he grabbed the steering wheel."I suggest you sit down on one of the seats so you don't go bouncing around when we start moving."Van said forewarning her about what should happen if she didn't sit down when they started to move as the engines began warming up as they would roar to life once Winter sat down as they would then exit Traverse Town and enter into space heading towards Kingdom Key academy.

"Don't worry, it will only-" is all Jaecen heard as he walked past. Maybe there was someone out tonight. Jaecen fixed his jacket and jumped to the rooftops. He had heard of a secret place earlier that offered rooms and jobs for people who were munnyless. It was a better idea than anything else, he thought. His mind still lay on the heartless.

The Paladin's Hideout was full of kids Jaecen's age. He walked in and was immediately confronted. "Hey, you want int, you better pay up." one of the three boys scowled. The taller of the three put his fists together. "Quit buggin' the kid will you?" Came a voice from the wall of adolescents. A girl pushed through the boys. " Cam, you better leave him alone."
The boy, whose name was Cam, stuttered,"Y-yeah, sure, Maci." Looking for someone to be Maci.

Maci's voice estranged Jaecen. He stared in awe at the girl. "Hey, stare any longer and I'll hit ya." Maci frowned.
Jaecen shook the awe from his head and stared at the ground. Maci tilted her head to one side. "You don't seem to be from around here." Maci turned and gestured for him to follow.
Jaecen wondered, who is she? Startled, he shook his head. She is young enough to be your sister, snap out of it!
Maci turned and smiled. "If you need a room, that's what you got."
She pointed to the door next to her. "You'll be in here. I should warn you that there are three people to a room." Maci stared at the door frame with a look of slight unease upon her face. She rested against the doorframe and whispered with a quiver in her voice. "Don't go causing trouble."

Jaecen tossed and turned in the bed. Whispers woke him from a cold dream. The air was cool, his breath was frosty and created mist with every hushed exhale. Creaking from the settling of the building send a chill down his spine. Jaecen looked around the room and noticed the window was opened, the curtains blew from the icy breeze. He got up and shut the window. Why did I choose tonight to wear shorts to bed, he thought. Goosebumps rose on his legs and arms. The door slowly opened. Jaecen looked through the crack and noticed blood on the floor.
eek sweatdrop Think I'm gonna have an asthma attack...

His skin crawled as he reached the door. Slowly, it creaked open as he looked into the hall. A pool of blood now laid before him. Shocked, he closed his eyes. I have to see. Jaecen opened his eyes and saw the bleeding form of Maci resting against the wall with a pistol in her hand. Jaecen reeled back in cold fear and fell to the ground. Jaecen wretched until there was nothing left in his stomach. What had happened here, he thought.
"Jaecen,' A quiet voice called.
Jaecen turned his eyes up to face Maci. There was fear in her eyes, he also saw sadness.
"Help...me," She asked, gurgling blood.
Jaecen crawled to her. "What do I do?"
A voice in his mind called to him. It was sweet and refreshing, as well as familiar. "Don't succumb to the Darkness..." It called in a warning manner.
Ehhh, not sure. Is this too OP? She could die anyway. If you think its too OP I'll kill off Maci. Stay tuned...

Maci's head rested in Jaecen's arm. Blood leaked out the side of her mouth and rolled down her cheek. Jaecen swore under his breath. Then, he laughed as if possessed. "You've taken my family...You've taken my best friend...but why her..."
Jaecen stared at the ceiling and laughed darkly. "I don't even have a connection to her!"
He set Maci's head down and covered his face with one hand. He continued to laugh until a tear rolled down his face. Jaecen stood up. He called forth his omnikey, but this wasn't his normal keyblade. With a flash of black and red, the Crimson Vow appeared in his hand.
The Crimson Vow isn't an omnikey. It is a form of side wielding keyblade like Tidus has. However, the Crimson Vow only comes to those who have vowed vengeance on the death of a loved one( or in this case, a complete and total stranger.)

He stood staring at the ceiling with his Crimson Vow in his hands. Black clouds circled around him. A shot of green sparks ejected from the swirling dark mass and encircled Maci's nearly dead form. Jaecen began to float at least an inch off of the ground, back arched in pain. The black clouds began to kick up a small wind. His eyes were closed as he cried out in agony. Then, it all stopped. Jaecen dropped to the floor unconscious.
Is Jaeen okay? What happened to Maci? We'll find out...

The air stood chilled and still. Jaecen lay unconscious on the ground. Maci's eyes fluttered open. She turned to her side and tried to stand, but it was to no avail. She bounced her rear hard off the floor. Staring at the ground, Maci couldn't hold back. She wretched everything from her stomach. The vomit mixed with the blood in an unsettling way. Maci wiped her mouth and slowly lifted her head to see Jaecen unconscious on the floor. In a feeble attempt, she crawled over to him, dried blood on the side of her cheek.
"Jaecen," she whimpered..
She pressed her ear to his chest and heard the beating of his heart. Then, something caught her eye. She looked over to his hand and saw the Crimson Vow resting in his palm. Maci reached for the keyblade. Her hand grasped the handle. It's light,she thought lifting it in the air. Suddenly, a jolt ran through her arm. Maci dropped the keyblade on Jaecen's chest and tumbled backwards. "What the hell was that?" She panicked.
