"Because he was scared. He would kill himself if he went further." Daniel claimed. He wasn't exactly lying. John wouldn't have gone much further before fainting. Maybe he would die when he collapsed, maybe not. It was hard to say.

Dniel didn't say anything. Suddenly, he felt like he was being pulled away, dragged on his back with all the road burns included. "Stop fighting you fool, or you'll kill yourself." He growled suddenly, shaking his head.

Opal looked up at Daniel and looked over at his body. "Keep moving." she said as she headed off. Keeping Daniel up, dragging only his toes as she climbed some stony steps.

Rise looked over at Daniel - no, John - worriedly. She knew that Daniel wouldn't let John fall, though, so she continued on as she followed behind Opal.

Daniel put a hand on the rocky wall and placed the other on the bridge of John's nose. "I need a moment..." He murmured with a sigh.

Opal ears twitched as she looked back at John/Daniel. She placed Daniel's body down gently and sat down. She started to hum to herself softly.

Daniel hesitated for a few more minutes before he straightened himself out. "We're ready." He announced. "And by 'We', I mean John and I. He won't be causing any problems.."

Opal nodded as she lifted Daniel over her shoulder as she followed after them. She looked up and saw a large shadow in the distance. She placed Daniel down and ran up the stairs. "Hi Vaalo!" she shouted in a different language.

((I'd love to play Valoo, but I haven't even played this game..nor readt he manga, sadly..))
Rise followed quickly behind Opal, "Opal!" she shouted, but she was already far ahead of her. She sighed and turned to Daniel, "Didn't that Rito girl say that it wasn't wise to see Valoo now?" she asked worriedly.

Opal didn't listen as she approached the dragon with no fear. And the dragon welcomed her warmly with a roar as she smiled brightly at him. "Vaalo control wind! Like Opal!" Opal said happily as she stood next to the red dragon.
