Like learning....math, reading, writing, science, magic, etc. All those interesting things...not like fish, though we will cover those in science, and later in biology.

He looks relieved and his screen slips a little and Kero get a glimpse at what he had been thinking, of him swimming with a bunch of fish and feeling completely out of place.

Big prank I pulled on yer uncle...boy was he ever mad.

The boy's eyes widen even more and he shivers uncontrollably. He's not sure about ice, but he got a sensation of cold from Kero's thoughts and having experienced brain freeze the night before, knows it had to have been a chilling experience.

The boy thinks for a bit and then says with a grin. "listen...."
Lyssan who is walking in to visit at that very moment laughs. "Like a kid in a candy store... he can't get enough of it. Kept bugging me all morning. "What's this... what's that?"

"Why don't we go over and you can play for Tam and the babies... he's feeling rather grouchy right now and they say music can sooth the savage beast..." laughs Lyssan wickedly.
Passura looks at her funnily. "Don't you like the winged one?" he asks worriedly.
Lyssan grins at him. "Oh I do, Pasa... I do... I love him like a son... daughter... oh whatever... but he's gotten himself into this pickle and it will be up to him to get himself out... eventually... that's iffin he doesn't manage to find himself in the same boat before these two wean... ye know... he could be stuck like this for a very long time..."

I'm afraid part of it's my fault, Ly...but I couldn't stand to see him in such pain...I orchestrated the whole thing...though I will admit, once I knew they no longer needed me, I left them alone...their pregnancy surprised me as well and anyone else...
*Leads them both over, pulling them quietly inside the cave...then gently plays a soothing tune from the mouth of the cavern*

Tam flashes him a tired smile and curls up on his bed, closing his eyes, thinking only to rest them for a bit while Kero plays. But he is soon fast asleep.

After a bit, Lyssan leads the young serpentine outside and says with a wink. "Let's go round up some lunch, shall we. Bez has this magnificent, if wild orchard and he's planted all sorts of vegetables and fruits about the island. I was wondering about that when I was exploring the island, before I stumbled over the glade. I kept finding patches of things growing that had no business being there. He's hunting right now. Said he wanted something that didn't swim in it's on toilet for dinner. I know for a fact he's joking, but he does have a point. Fish is nice but I could use a bit of red meat too... How about you."
Passura nods eagerly and snatches up two baskets, one for the kitsune and one for himself, and off they go... leaving Kero to lull the babies into a long nap allowing Tam to get some rest.
