Opal ran toward where his wind was coming from. The castle was very loud. She stopped as she saw Vaati on the ground as she bit her lip. "Then I'm staying!" she said. "I don't want to loose you!" she said as tears ran her face as she walked over to him. She was still glowing as she knelt down next to him. "You're the only family I have ever had... " she said.

"And you're... the only reason I've... smiled. Now, please... leave..." Vaati sat up and opened a portal for her. "Go, Opal... please... I don't want you hurt..." He could hardly speak anymore. His throat was too burned. "Before Ganon.... comes... comes back."

"NO! I know I promised to behave but this time I'm breaking that promise!" She shouted as she looked at him as tears slid down her face. "If I leave where will I go?" she said as she looked around lost. Outside lightning flashed. It was a strange of weather as the wind pick up. "It's hurting me... by having to leave you!" she said.

"Opal... I hope I wasn't.... your only friend... go back to... Silver and Arious... the group... they'll take care of you... you should leave... I'm not sure.... if I'll be the Vaati you... like..." Vaati fell to the ground again, he was to weak to deal with her arguing. He only wished she would see it from his ending, he didn't believe she understood how it felt like to have the hunger for power, the power Ganon told him he could get...

Opal looked at him as her ears folded back as she looked at him. "Fine..." she muttered, it was so small that she wasn't sure Vaati could hear it. She walked over to him and took his shoulders and kissed him softly on the lips. "I still love you... no matter who you are... you still 'Vaati the Wind Sorcerer' to me..." she said to him.All his wounds healed as she turned and walked through the portal. Opal appeared in Hyrule field. She walked slowly to Kakariko Village as she noticed it was still night out.

Dark Vaati decided it was time to leave. He returned to his former form and wrapped away before anyone could see, leaving the cloth Arious left on him and a big bloody mess.
"All better are you? Maybe we should fix that." Ganon smirked again, his whip in his hand. Vaati took another step back, before shaking his head.
"I agreed! You can put the whip away!"

Opal walked into Kakariko Village as she looked around. "I guess... he's really dead..." she muttered as she walked into the inn. She saw Elzo but didn't want to speak to him as she slipped upstairs avoiding anyone as her ears twitched and looked and saw Gust. He had been following her. "GO AWAY!" she shouted at him as the creature squeaked and looked at her with his sad eye. He turned and flew off as Opal sighed. "Wait... you're all I have left of him.. so I guess you can stay." she said as the creature landed upside down on her finger as she sat down.

Vaati sighed. Already he felt like he completely turned on the few friends he did make. No... it was all for Opal. I'll find away out of this.... No, no you won't, you like the power.... I can live without the power.... No you can't, you need it... He was going completely insane! He was talking, no, debating with himself no.

"Gust... can you do me a favor? Can you go and keep your eye on Vaati, if Ganon gives him trouble, come and fetch me okay? Don't worry I know what to do if he does." She asked the little fluff ball as he extend his chest and flew off as he disappeared in darkness. Opal sighed as she laid back. She looked seeing her body was no longer glowing. What had that been...? she thought. "I'll free you Vaati... even if I have to destroy Ganondorf myself." she muttered lying on her side. She looked seeing the stars starting to fade. She noticed Helios outside seeing the sun starting to rise. She saw the evening star. "I have one more wish... I wish that... that Vaati would change... just once because I... I..." she said as she felt tears weld in her eyes. "I love him more than any girl would love someone..." she said.

Vaati wrapped himself into Castle Towns with new orders; destroy the city. He had his sword on him, only know it was laced in the same poison Dark Vaati used. Vaati began with using Lisaya's magic to blow one building into little pieces. He aimed the same spell at another building, blowing that one apart too.
That sad thing was, he couldn't force himself to feel guilty as he charged Lisaya's magic into fire, which burned many of the guards coming after him into charred skeletons.

Gust watched as Vaati destroyed the city, but he stayed out of sight as his gave a small high pitched sigh. Its hopeless, he's never going to change... poor Opal he thought to himself.

Vaati growled as more guards came and ruined it. He simply used magic to push those ones back into the wall. Vaati again used Lisaya's magic to start a small, turquoise flame. It'll burn some buildings down as he added wind to help spread it around.
...Why am I doing this? Vaati asked as he watched the fire grow.

"Cause you think you have to!" Gust squeaked silently to himself. Another one of his powers was to read thoughts.
Silver was running through the ruins of the city her Orange Elifa was clutched in her hand. She froze to a stop as she saw Vaati. "B-but... you were... dead..." she said. So you've gone back to evil... she thought. "Where is Opal..." she growled as she stood her ground.

"What? I was never dead...." He looked at Silver in confusion. Then he straightened out his face and the wind blew around ferociously, carrying the flames further into the city. "I don't know where she is, I just hope she's very far away."

Silver pulled an arrow out and strung her bow and fired it as it caught his shoulder and pinned him to a wall as it glowed orange and burned into him. It couldn't be removed as she approached him. "YOU WERE DEAD! I SAW! YOU WERE DEAD ON THE FLOOR IN THE ROOM! OPAL CRIED! SHE SHED TEARS!" She shouted. "All she ever cared was about you! And this is how you repay her?!" she shouted. "She loved you! She saw past your evilness and cared only about you! And this is how you repay her? Going back to Ganondorf... and I thought you wouldn't stoop so low..." She said angrily.
Gust looked at Silver as he felt like he wanted to attack her. But he held himself back at Silver's harsh words. He landed on the ruined wall above them as he looked down at the two.
