Oddly enough, I've noticed that people actually have a herd mentality. When somebody goes down in a group, everyone clusters around the person, oftentimes forming a solid wall of people around the person. It's quite odd, actually.

Heh... in school, I was the one watching everyone falling all over themselves to be popular, and thinking "what the HELL kind of drugs is everyone on???"
Needless to say, I wasn't the "popular kid". Oddly enough, neither was I the shunned outcast... though I'm not exactly sure why...

I'm a social leper. People actually avoided me like I had the plague. Needless to say, that is damaging to a kid in the fourth grade and upwards.

Actually, Most of the incidents calmed down after a certain b*****d left the school, but the damage was done. Any chance of friendship with those of my class were gone, and most people still didn't like to look at me. But, life goes on.
