Cecilia's power was slowly dwindling down as she watched Moli become sucked through the powerful vacuum-like wormhole and was spat out the other side. The barrier she had placed around herself dispersed right after this and Cecilia fell to her knees. Her cosmic form began to fade away, her skin reverting back to that of her azure complexion. Because it would most likely be some time before her mutation returned, this training session was over, for now. Now that she was a Herald, she had no idea how long her powers would remained nullified for. When she had been just a normal Owl, if she could even be considered normal, the estimate at which she was nullified at was perhaps one to one and a half hours. Who knew if the duration would be longer this time, or shorter.

Still, from the way Moli had hit the ground, it appeared that his shoulder was broken and if he didn't suffer anymore damage then Cecilia would have been surprised. The impact was very forceful. Cecilia had learned that while in battle, last ditch attempts were often necessary and while she never liked attacking anyone from behind, in a real battle, this might very well save her life. Who knew how many more photokinetics there would be in Exire. Shaking off that stunned feeling, she slowly stood up and made her way over to Moli and knelt down on her haunches beside him.

"That was quite a work out," she said smiling wryly at him as she examined him. Yes, his shoulder was definitely broken. Of course, Cecilia wasn't a doctor so she couldn't determine for certain the rate of the damage, but from the angle of his shoulder he had definitely broken the bone. "You should be fine, we'll get someone to heal you. Can't go into battle with a broken shoulder. It could have serious consequences," she said shaking her head lightly. She glanced in the direction where Anderson and Anya were still doing battle. They were an impressive force. She then turned back to Moli. "I have to admit, you impressed me. I can see why you were chosen to become the new Light Herald," she said as way of paying him a compliment.

Tai's eyes continued to glow with an deep scarlet, he listened to him speak, but no more coherent words would escape Tai's lips, he was once again done trying to have conversation with the Mastering Owl, he would speak with his fists instead. Tai was slightly blinded by the light that Che was giving off, but quickly recovered,he felt the light flow of electricity began to flow through him, His muscles began to stiffen, and a a tingling sensation began to overtake him, he chuckled and looked towards Che with wide eyes, and a grin as he seemed like he was enjoying the jolt, just then he began to whisper, "...M-m-more...give me more...." he grunted as he began as he pressed even harder with his headbutt, suddenly, just as quickly has the owl realized it, Che did something that Tai did not count on, being the fighter he was, he was literally armed to the teeth with everything from knuckledusters, to a needle hidden in his mouth, but more importantly....explosives. Tai's coat began to ignite with every thing smoke bomb, explosives, flash bangs, poison gas, paper bombs and his gunpowder. Tai was caught in the explosion, burning away his coat in the process, revealing what was left of his shirt and his bloodied arm, within the cloud of debris, Tai's glowing scarlet eyes could still be seen. He simply stared at Che as he kept his pressure, but he reared his hand back, the blood that had been seeping out quickly responded, and began to coat his hand and arm, creating a sharp, claw-like gauntlet, Tai chuckled,"....Like this beautiful vermillion...let me use these hands to cut into your pulse and rip that same shade from your body....this hunger....slaughtering you will most certainly satisfy it!!!!" he growled he reared back and drove his claw towards Che's neck. In the corner of his eye he looked over and saw Sebastian being consumed by paper, Tai began to move his other hand, tearing sounds could be heard as he ripped his own body apart to allow motion to his other arm, despite being restricted by the jolt. He snapped his fingers and then where Seb had sustained an injury, the paper began to turn red,. Suddenly tendrils began to whip at the paper consuming Sebs, and the blood ironically began to crawl along the paper chew away at the paper, acting as an antibody as well, tearing away at the paper that was holding Tai's partner.

The Satan Owl could have burst out laughing like a lunatic to the Radiant Owl's words, but out of a mock play of courtesy, he did not. The grin on his face was wry and though it was small, his expression said so much. Radiant was a fool. It wasn't simply the display of emotion Will could use. The blonde could find a use for everything. What mattered was the timing. Sure people could find out eventually, but it was the timing that mattered. "I'll let you think about that," he simply responded to Radiant's rhetorical questions on what anyone would do with the information that Radiant had shown sentiment. "But I'll give you a hint on one aspect. You said 'eventually'." He winked. William DeScythe was not an opponent that one should meet on the mental battlefield. Mind games were the devil's specialty. As he watched Radiant lean forward on the balcony railing, the blonde put an elbow on the railing and smiled. "No room for error and no room for failure? Of course... Depends on the definition.." Dante had been Lucien's mentor, hadn't he? Clearly, since he died, Radiant would feel he failed by her worded "logic". In response to Jeanne's last statement, Will did laugh. "Jeanne, my dear, of course I can fit in. Of course, preferably, that'll be the day Hell conquers Heaven."

Even though Rage could not see the sparks flying from Tim's eyes, she could hear them quite well. Even though she knew that Tim was angry and depressed about the condition of their group (if it could even be called that anymore), Rage's smirk only widened. It was amusing to her how easily people could get caught up in their own emotions. "Of course everyone here is dead. It was honestly very boring. They had hardly any fight in them...."

She listened to everything the Lightning Herald was telling her. However, as he spoke each sentence, her smirk faded little by little until only a scowl remained. She was annoyed with the fact that Tim seemed to think that she didn't know anything that had happened between him and the Fallen Pheonix or anything else in the world. She was offended, and that was never a good sign. "When will you tell me something I don't already know Timothy? Like I said, I've been watching enough to know everything that you're telling me now." Rage snapped, eyes unseeing eyes narrowing dangerously. "You are just as much an idiot now as you were all those years ago, Timothy, if you think I haven't been paying attention."

Rage wasn't happy with the condition that Tim was placing on her if she helped him in the last skirmishes of this war. She found it stupid to let any other people survive this. "Aww... Letting those maggots live is no fun at all. You're such a spoil-sport." Rage scoffed in reply, placing a hand on her hip. "And as for the Night Owls and their new acquisitions... They don't stand a chance! They are only Heralds in name only. They have only just begun to attempt their full capabilities, but they will not get the chance to expand their potentials. Cecilia Charmers, Anya Newton, Lomoli Presidiomini, Thomas, and now Daryle Saxton... Ha! None of them have even scratched the surface of their powers!"

Anya wasn't stupid. She wasn't going to stick in one place even after hitting Anderson once. Yes, she was ecstatic that she had finally landed a hit on Dante's son, but she knew she couldn't stay standing on the dragon for long. But she didn't even allow herself the luxury of giving Anderson a smirk of confidence after finally hitting him. The damn lizard creature would most definitely try to fry her into oblivion if she stayed on its back. The new Earth Herald jumped off of the dragon's back, her body once again dispersing into sand particles as she neared the ground. Her suspicion was quickly affirmed because the dragon had indeed spouted its silver flames at where she had been standing moments earlier. After reforming her body beneath the dragon's underbelly, Anya sent blades of diamond hurtling towards the neck of the dragon, aiming to slice open that all important artery bringing blood to its brain. She also sent three diamond spikes shooting up out of the ground next to her body to try to pierce the dragon's belly as well.

"No Will you think about this. What is it an immortal fears more than anything? It's not what others think, or having their secrets revealed from the world. It's boredom, you of all people should understand this. If you tell Lucien, or any other member of this bizarre menagerie of Owls at the very least you will stir up another torrent of drama, another emotional handle for me to grasp onto for yet another thrill." She whipped her hair gently so that it blew behind her over the balcony. "I fear you physically there is no doubting that. But mentally, not in the least, being a coward will often times do that, you physically fear what the world around you can do but all the while your mental state remains unharmed, fortified by the paranoia." She Looked towards Will with her deep purple eyes, her stare unerving, no wavering, to blinking. When he responded to one of her later statements about failure she responded with "But of course, everything is situational even the definitions of flawless and perfect. But you knew him better then I did, he was never a man for failure, it simply wasn't in his vocabulary." She blinked when he stated the affect of the afterlife after his future death. "Is that so...I wasn't aware you had the power to topple Noel just like that. Of course you're the prodegy Satan Owl so whose to say, you'll have to send me a postcard from Hell once you're there, I'm afraid it's a 'luxury' I will be avoiding."

As the ground shook by the eruption of the diamond spikes the Archdragon's body instantly reacted, in an instant it's body burst into a wafting cloud of silver haze which filled the area. Soon the haze lifted revealing a slim lethe version of the Archdragon coiled around the diamond spikes like a snake on tree branches. It looked at Anya with wisened eyes as it's body slitheres off of the diamond spikes floating in the air. "That may have worked on me Anya, but not him, The Archdragon may be my familiar but I am in no way it's superior, it's just lending me it's power." Anderson said as he lowered his hand from his side. "Targeting him is like trying to catch smoke, trust me I've learned that lesson." He said as he looked up at the slim version of his dragon it floated in the air with gentle coils in it's pristine body. Still it looked down at Anya, the two whiskers on each side of it's muzzle whisked back and forth gently as it watched her. "You're probably better off focusing on me more but then again this is just a practice." He said as he raised both of his hands above his head. His eyes glew brightly as the reflective surface of the ceiling began to become speckled with a swirling galaxy like formation of Anderson's energy. His head shot up looking straight up at the galaxy like spectrum above them he thrusted his arms down without changing his vision focus immediately a rainstorm of tiny energy pellets showered from the galaxy's surface raining down over their battle area, the Celestial dragon all the while flew upward encircling the galaxy it's boody wrapped around the perimeter of the attack to keep from harm's way.

((okay, let's try to end this little sparring match, Nicko. sweatdrop just cuz I'm starting to run out of ideas for this fight lol))

Anya's eyes narrowed in mild annoyance as the dragon managed to avoid the spikes of diamond. She hadn't counted on the creature to be able to shape shift that fast. The only other shape shifter she knew of that was able to shift that fast had been Owen. But this was completely different. Scowling slightly, Anya readjusted her fighting style after hearing what Anderson said. She was a fighter, and she wasn't about to go down easily. After all, she had way more experience fighting than Anderson did.

While Anderson was preparing his next attack, Anya 'melted' her body into the earth again. An instant later, Anya's right arm and her head and shoulder emerged from the ground behind Anderson. Her hand shot forward to grab hold of his ankle. She didn't really like doing this, but it seemed like it might be the only thing she could do to win the match: Anya used her original poison manipulation, sending a potent poison into Anderson's blood stream. It would work quickly to incapacitate the younger Owl. Hopefully, if he gave up before it did any permanent damage, Anya would most definitely be able to remove the poison from Anderson's body. "Checkmate, Andy." Anya said simply over the noise of Anderson's attacks. "Remember my original ability? I think you might want to give up, because I just used it. It won't kill you, but its gonna be pretty damn painful."

(( The only reason I didn't end it in the last post was because you never actually attacked Anderson, he can't lose if you attack just his familiar. ))

Anderson's mouth curled into a light smile his head still tilted up towards his galactic creation and eyes ablaze with glowing energy. As Anya's poison coursed through his veins he felt his body contract his arms shook a little but the raining energy that had already broken from the galaxy would not stop, once it had been released there wasn't anything Anderson could do to stop what had already fallen. As his concentration was broken Anderson's eyes returned to normal and the galaxy was soon sucked into the black hole like object in the center of it before it completely disappeared. The energy which had already been released bludgeoned the world below, and all who were unfortunate enough to be below, Anderson didn't leave himself out of the attacks way, he knew Anya would draw herself in close if he released an area of attack. When the energy ceased Anderson knelt on the ground inhaling and exhaling deeply with the cocktail of his own attack and Anya's poison he needed a breather. The dragon flew down from it's coiled perch in the sky draping itself around Anya and Anderson it's head stared at Anya, with simple eyes, curious eyes. It however remained in it's lethe state.
Anderson all the while relaxed his hand and patted the dragon's head. He looked at the dragon and nodded. "Looks like it is Anya."
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 9:09 pm

((haha. you're probably right on that count lol that would be my own fault then.))

As Anderson fell to his knees, Anya released her hold on his ankle. Once she had released his foot, Anya waited for the bludgeoning celestial meteors to stop before emerging from the ground to stand on her own feet. She looked down at Anderson as his body started to show signs of the poison's effects. She noticed the way the dragon was watching her curiously, but she didn't say anything about it. Instead, Anya was more focused on helping Anderson. The Earth Herald knelt down next to him and held out her hand. "Give me your hand before the symptoms get any worse." she told him her green eyes staring at him with both concern and resolution. Before becoming a Herald, Anya had never been able to fully reverse a poison's effects on other people before. When she got her new status, that was one of the first things she tried to teach herself. She wanted to be able to undo stuff she might accidentally do to people she didn't want to hurt.

Anderson laughed a little at the situation. "Well that went down a little worse then I had originally intended." He said softly as he wobbled back and forth a little in his knelt position. He looked at his dragon, after petting it again He dismissed the dragon, it slowly became an ethereal version of itself before it slid from it's perch and back into Anderson's chest. Anderson exhaled loudly with the dragon and demon now back inside of him he didn't have to worry about having one of them just wandering around now. He looked towards Anya and nodded, "Worse? Yikes this is some potent stuff." He said as he wobbely reached his hand out, leaning slightly forward to do so. His back though gave way, Anderson fell forward and into Anya. He could feel his body shaking lightly, despite the inability to now lift his arms or legs he still had sensation, an odd combination. He exhaled and inhaled deeply, he could feel his vision start to grow blurrier by the minute. "Y-You've really...Got some talent there..." He said softly, he seemed to be whispering something under his breathe as he drifted inbetween his normal mindset and a delusional set brought on by the toxins now coursing through his body.

( Hmm with all the fights now seemingly ending not sure what should be done about Itachi's fight with Sibal. I suppose Will or something can just call them up when their needed, since Will's building seems to hae everything speakers would definitely be of the more normal things that could be found. lol )

Itachi smirked as the bullets came at him as he raised his hand into the air as he rapidly changed the air pressure using his heat power to cause a powerful burst of wind to blow the bullets back, allthough with Sibal moving they of course went back by him and into the ruins harmlessly. Or so it may have seemed as Itachi had placed a small bubble of sorts of heat around each deflected bullet like a second skin so it wouldnt be noticed by the naked eye. Of course bullets werent normally followed well by the naked eye anyway but still.

Using the heat bubbles to control the bullets he had them collid with the buildings around where sibal was moving and with a snap of his fingers they exploded causing the partially standing buildings to collapse in the area by Sibal to hopefully fall on him and do some damage. At the same time Itachi used his power to create jets of flame around many of the larger chunks of debris and other large structures around the immidiate area as the jets were used to propel the massive objects towards Sibal as well. Itachi was well aware of the power of Sibals barriors from there time in the UNS together but he figured every barrior had a limit and what better then a bunch of massive weight to test how much force Sibal could endure. Itachi at the same time created jets of flam under his own feet to take to the skies for better mobility as he prepared for his opponents next move.

( Back to using colour again now. lol And yes I did feel the need to announce that. 3nodding Also will begin posting as Nova again soon once I figure out what he should be doing right now as a TFP member. )

"Once again, it looks as though you made very short work of both the Humans and Owls that once populated this island. If I were in the mood, I might've clapped." Timothy still couldn't see through the thick veil of darkness that covered the expanse of what he knew was a war torn land covered with dead bodies. Just from where he stood, he could smell the stench of decaying flesh that rode the air. This Rage character was a force in her own right, but to Timothy, she was still somewhat of a subordinate thanks to her appearance. To him, she was still Sydney both inside and out.

Unlike the other Heralds, excluding L, this new Sydney didn't have a hard time getting on Timothy's bad side. He kept it hidden from her for as long as he could and endured what she had to say. The Herald spoke in profuse amounts and none of her words did anything to quell how the Herald felt about the situation at hand. Silently, he listened for seconds more and when he tired of her, he responded in his usual calm tone, "Paying attention? So then you watched Adam, Noah and Sabrina die? If you reply with anything besides yes, then you'll be lying to me Sydney. A lie isn't something I'd like to hear right now..." Looking up into the darkness which may have well been the shade of this Sydney's eyes, Timothy's elemental form faded away revealing his usual attire. A white shirt and a pair of long blue jeans that covered all but his toes. His metallic arm he hoped would return to normal was still metal and still malleable by his ability. One could wish couldn't they?

"If it weren't for Raven being the Oracle, I'd have killed her and her family ages ago, so trust me. It's not easy working with one of the people you want dead," said Timothy as he took his first steps in this world of opaque somber. "Heh. Fledglings they are. Even Thomas, that b*****d. Of course none of them have scratched the surface of their powers and potentials, but as they are now, they're far more...unstable. Fighting them is only a good move if we can kill them quickly. Altercate for too long, and they may pull something out of the hat so to speak. When he fight them, we must fight with caution. You can manage caution right?" The grin that tugged at Timothy's pale features was in stark contrast to his demeanor moments ago. Whereas his expression was calm before, it was now twisted into an ingenious, but rather sinister smirk. His almost childlike appearance only added to expression as well. "Well now Rage, what do you say we get out of here? Exire could use a bit of help getting into Virginia."

~~~
Moli could feel the surging pain that came with a broken arm as he sat upon the ground. Beneath him was the shattered, glass or rock candy substance that lined the entire expanse of this infinite landscape. His reflection, which grinned back at him and whose eyes were winced in pain, was still in high spirits. If he could do this much here while holding back, then Exire, where he could cut loose, would be but a playground to him and his teammates. Off in the distance, he could hear Anya and Anderson clashing still. At least they were giving each other a run for their money.
Cecilia was making her way to the Light Herald. The blonde, after she arrived and spoke, stood and held his side. His shoulder could not be touched by anything right now unless he wanted to faint from the pain he knew would surface from the area. "Quite the workout indeed." Moli agreed with a light chuckle. Any harder and his ribcage would've reminded him of just what he could and could not do at the time. "You're impressed with me? Heh, I'm impressed with you! Your a fast learner Cici so that works in your favor. A teacher would be nice, but the only good one is kinda dead right now...Um, Roulin will have something on his hand if you keep on getting better."
"Please, I can fight with this broken shoulder, fourteen broken ribs and a fracture---whoa!" The Herald's haughty boasting was cut short. As he took a few steps forward, he fell into a kneeling position. Apparently, he was more fatigued than he knew, but even like this, he could manage to go on. If things got too bad, he'd fly. "So, which team would you like to be on? Attack or Defense? Personally, Cecilia, I think we need a recon team. I'd like to head that if I could."
~~~

Che was more than taken aback by Tai's evolution. It wasn't something he expected, but then again, he knew he should've. Most Owls whose base was pure fighting talent had a 'mode' in which they would cut loose especially if their actual power was never of any help during the fighting. Che had to admit that even he was like this. His change had occurred, but it didn't hold the same violent tendencies that Tai's did. Now the Mastering Owl had two choices since the man's power was blood manipulation. He could either shock the liquid and send him into cardiac arrest which would kill him, or he could wait until he tired himself out. Because this was just a training session, Che knew what he had to do.

"Oh. You're one of those kind of fighters...the kind that ruins everyone's fun." said the elder Owl somewhat jokingly. The gravity of the situation wasn't going to break him. He'd seen rougher predicaments in his time. "Sebastian, your friend's bi-polar disorder is flaring up..." When he noticed that Tai's blood was melting away his paper like acid would burn away almost anything, Che become cautious once again. Portals were ready for this guy again. He managed to evade Tai's claw which would've hurt the both of them by bounding backwards onto the sand. He didn't want to touch Tai or be touched by him as long as he was covered in blood. That'd just conduct his electricity better. Kneeling and exchanging glances between the berserk owl and his butler friend, Che knew he had to think of something and fast.

((Will))

Yes, boredom was something that immortals usually feared. To Will though, boredom was just boredom. He didn't fear it. He just didn't like it, but he always found a way to beat it, even if it meant using it as a weapon against others. The Satan Owl smirked at Radiant. She was being defiant. "Sure...sure..." Yes, he did indeed know Dante better than Jeanne though Noel probably should even more because she trained Dante. He winked at her. "Don't underestimate hell. Besides, Heaven could be quite boring. Noel's just Noel." Right... and Noel just happened to be someone Will missed right now. If it were theoretically possible after death, Will would go to heaven just to steal Noel or ruin the place.

Anya nodded in agreement with the first thing Anderson said. She hadn't intended to actually use any of her poison abilities. She cold have technically used it to begin with, but she had figured it wouldn't have been very fair. Then again, in an actual battle setting she may not have had the chance to actually use it right away anyway. "Damn right, it'll get worse. Also, I've been fighting this war a lot longer than you have so I have more experience in the fighting department." She was about to explain the symptoms as Anderson reached a hand out to take hers. However, before she could get into the unpleasant details, the younger Owl collapsed forward towards her. Fortunately, Anya was there to catch him before he actually planted his face into the ground. She had managed to grab under his armpits to keep his face from hitting the floor. She had to act fast as apparently the toxin was faster acting than she had originally thought.

Before trying to lift him up, Anya immediately began withdraw the poison from Anderson's body simply through her own two hands where she held onto his shoulders. Fortunately, he'd live, but he would be out of it for an hour or two. She could hear him mumbling something under his breath, she she couldn't quite make out what he was saying.

Once she was sure that the toxins were removed from Anderson's bloodstream, Anya then began to adjust her hold on his unconscious form so she could lay him on his back on the ground. Once that was done, she double checked his vitals to make sure that he really would be okay. After affirming that Anderson would be fine, the Earth Herald relaxed ever so slightly. She was thankful that she had managed to stop the poison from spreading too much. But she was even more grateful that she had learned the skill to remove poisons from others.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Anya turned away from the unconscious Anderson to check if Moli and Cecilia were finished with their match-up. What she saw was Lomoli laying sprawled on the ground and Cecilia crouched over him. Looked like Moli had lost his match. Shaking her head a little, Anya decided she might as well find out how the two of them were doing. Like Cecilia and the two guys, Anya also felt very exhausted. She felt like falling over and just laying on the ground, but this was probably not a good location to do that. "You guys okay over there?" Anya called out to Cecilia and Moli.

Cecilia doubted she would stand much of a chance against Roulin no matter how powerful she got, but she didn't mention this to Moli. Instead, she smiled and stood when he did, brushing herself off. His boasting made her roll her eyes for right after that, he went down again. She bit her lip, trying not to laugh as she folded her arms across her chest, shifted her weight to her left side, and peered down at him, shaking her head in amusement. "Well I'm not picky about what team I'd be on, but a recon team does sound good. I'd speak with Che about it," she said non-chalantly.

She didn't hear any commotion coming from their other teammates. The Cosmic Owl turned and saw that the training session between Anderson and Anya was now over. Anderson seemed to have been weakened and Anya was busy tending to him. The only thing that she could think of was that he had most likely been poisoned. Cecilia heard Anya calling to them asking if they were all right. "Well, we're still alive!" she called back. "I've been nullified and Moli has a broken shoulder, fourteen broken ribs, and a fractured... something," she added. She nodded at Anderson who was very much unconscious at the moment. "What about you two? Is Anderson all right?"

"Is that how you really feel? Hiding behind that devil's smirk and your silver tongue will only last for so long. Don't forget in this world you are free but down there whose to say who will be in charge, you? A previous Satan owl? Or perhaps Lucifer himself? But I suppose now isn't a time for a debate on metaphysics." She said as she turned around leaning her back against the metal bar of the railing. She leaned back to look at an upside down version of the city, but only for a moment or two before she pulled herself back up into a standing position. "She was a good person, one of the best. It's a shame what happened to her." Radiant hadn't known Noel on a personal level but she knew of her, and what she had done for the Night Owls after Dante had died, how she attempted to act as a mother figure to it's remaining members. "Well all this emotion has really softened up my heart, can't have that now, people like you and myself laugh in the face of overzealous emotion. For different reasons of course, so Will I hope to see you on the battlefield when the time comes, I just hope you haven't lost that inner fire that has left you so feared even among the strongest of owls."

Sibal thrusted out his four arms each in a different direction clenching his hands into tight fists hexagon shaped kinetic barriers formed around his body in a dome shape. Waiting patiently the instant the debris came in contact with the barriers Sibal opened his hands causing the barriers to change the direction they were facing deflecting the chunks of debris rather then just stopping them. Sibal ran forward unsheathing his four blades as he leapt up landing on a large piece of re-barb that stuck awkwardly out of the ground. He waited again as another large chunk of what he assumed was once a building flew towards him, perfectly timing his movements Sibal leapt at the building piece landing on it as it continued on it's way. Sibal then opened up a large pathway of kinetic barriers which arched up into the sky, thanks to the propulsion Itachi had given the building fragment with his fire all Sibal's barriers had to do was redirect the nor Sibal mounted building into the sky which is exactly what he had done. As the building piece was thrown into the air Sibal kicked off of it using his massive weight and strength to his advantage as the building piece now hurled towards Itachi. Sibal flipped through the air before landing on the ground shooting up a cloud of dust from around him masking his location.
