Riiight, of course you did dear. Oh right. I had blocked out the memories of that frightful comic. By reading Vampirates! I think. <33
I'm almost done the first Xanth novel! It wasn't slow at all!! I like Trent too, and Chameleon is such a dear, poor thing. I want the next, but I have to borrow it, and I have to read that other book she lent me too. But I don't wanna! I want more Xanth!! >_<''

Well, the pages you showed me weren't exactly laughter inducing. =/
You should re-read it. It was faster than a lot of "slow" ones I've read. Some of those were terrible. hehehe, yup, guess you did!! XD

It's beautiful... it's wonderful... it's confusing as sin...
...and... and... ZAAAAPHKIEL-SAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! *sobs*
...forgive me... that scene... gave me nightmares for weeks... I still... never... got... over... that... terrible... oh god... Zaphkiel-sama...
...there's... this one scene... later on in the books (I read all 20 volumes over three days, with breaks, and had the misfortune to read that one late at night...)... where (Spoiler: highlight to see...)
Sevothtarte tears off Zaphkiel's wings. In AS, an angel's wings have special properties. They protect against illnesses, for one. If they're removed, then every single sickness that ever existed will converge on the angel. They will rot alive, their minds deteriorating, becoming like zombies, their minds reduced to the most basic of needs.
It's a beautiful manga, but that one scene... traumatised me for life... I don't mind zombies, but... that scene... was so horrible... just to read it was enough... AS, you see, sucks you in... you can't just stop reading... it pulls you in, and you feel as if you're really there, as if it's all happening...
