Patrick was happy to receive a physical response from Michiru and a verbal response from Roy that they were going okay. "That's good" he said smiling. He could feel Hiro rub against his legs and the fur tickling him a little making him laugh after Roy's explanation about the breakfast. "Sorry, Hiro was rubbing up against my legs" he apologizes for his out burst. "I suppose I am doing okay" he answered the question. He picks up his fork and started eating, "Well, it has turned out to be tasty none the less" he commented about the scrambled eggs. "Since you're off duty today and I can do work at anytime I want. Anything you and Michiru would like to do today?" he asked them. ╚══════════════╝

Roy sighed in relief when Patrick stated that the food still tasty despite his earlier mess up. The officer then shrugged his shoulders as he took a bite of his food"I haven't put much thought into it yet, I was just going to take a shower and that's about all I thought of..."he stated, not quite sure about anything he wanted to do. Roy then looked at Michiru with a smile"Do you have any ideas?"he asked as Roy took another bite of his eggs, almost finishing the plate.

Michiru sat there eating rather quietly. Telling himself he had to eat more even though after only a few bites he felt full. He never ate enough. But he got himself to eat about seventy-five percent of the plate before he couldn't stomach it anymore. He took a deep breath, finally looking up, even though he had heard the previous conversation. As he was about to say something, he was asked if he had any ideas of what they could do. Chiru thought for a moment before chiming in with that petite voice of his. " m..maybe .we could um..well...I hones.estly have no .i...i..idea what..t..to do..bu..but i know that...i..i'm really full..." he said pushing his plate forward an inch or so. He swallowed hard, hoping not to disappoint Roy, who seem to kind of be the parent of the day so far. "..a..as long as..I..c..can stay with you two...I..I don't..r..really ca..care what we do...". then Chiru remembered Roy mentioning a shower. " ..a..a shower..m..might be nice....w..would it be ok If...if i took one..? and..m..maybe borrow a robe so i can wash my clothes?... " he asked actually not stuttering to much. It seemed that when he talked about something he needed he could stutter less.

Patrick laughs a little, "That's quite alright, Chiru. It could be saved for later as leftovers" he assures Chiru. "Maybe we could hang out at the beach since the weather is much nicer" he suggested as soon as it came to mind. He nods to Chiru's request, "Sure, and there is a robe in the other guest bathroom also" he said to the young male. "After your shower, Roy. Could we talk in private?" he asked him. He wanted to talk about yesterday's date to get some feedback for future dates. ╚══════════════╝

Roy had just finished his plate if food, letting Patrick do most of the speaking at the moment and nodded his head in agreement"The weather is already getting nicer, obviously we can't go swimming but I'll be nice none the less!"he said with a smile as he picked up his own plate and put it in the sink. Roy then looked at Patrick and nodded his head"Sure thing Patrick"he stated as he finished washing his own plate before walking towards the guest room"I'll make the bed and tidy up while you're showering Michiru" Roy explained as he made his way to the guest room they were sleeping in earlier and began to make the bed and flatten out the sheets.

Chiru smiled when he was told it was okay that he didn't finish the food. The last thing he wanted was offend Roy by not finishing the food. He nodded when Patrick said he could take a shower, but wanted to respond to the beach idea. " ..T...the beach..s.s.ounds nice..." he said getting up and bringing his plate over to the counters in the kitchen. As he went to walk down the hall, it would be noticeable how quiet he walked, and this was mostly due to weight, but he made barely any noise at all as he wisked his way down the hallways and into the guest room to grab the extra robe and head to the the bathroom. It took him a minute to figure out the shower before he got in. Standing in the nice warm water felt nice upon the rough , scarred skin all over his torso.

Patrick nods glad that his suggestion was accepted, "Of course. I don't swim" he responded to Roy. He wasn't sure if he can swim still or not because he hadn't been swimming in years. He was pleased that Roy agreed to the private talk. He watches them both leave the kitchen, "Have good shower, you two", and finishes up with his breakfast before getting up to wash the dishes. He puts the leftovers into a bowl with a lid then puts it in the fridge. ╚══════════════╝

Roy first fluffed the pillows in order to give them back their original look. He then straightened out the sheets before then pulling up the comforter over the pillows, giving the bed an almost unused look. Roy then glanced towards the bathroom and paused for a moment before sitting down on the side of the bed facing the bathroom door. He thought about how he was going to approach Michiru, the boy seemed skittish but beating around the bush would certainly be a bad option. Being completely blunt but comforting at the same time was probably the best course of action. Once Michiru would step out of the bathroom Roy would lock eyes with the boy before patting the side of the bed next to him"I need to ask you something, alright?"the man would ask, putting on the most comforting smile he could to try and put the boy at ease.

It wasn't long before Michiru was done with the shower. One of the biggest perks to being so small was that it took little to no time to clean himself in the shower. After turning off the water, he dried off , sliding the robe on. The robe was very large...probably made for a larger guest than himself hanging to his shins. He tied the robe around his waist, not paying attention to a small gap that he left at his chest. It wasn't a huge gap , but it left enough space to see a few of the scars in the center of his chest, confirming the idea that he basically had a long sleeve shirt of scars and burns on at all times. Chiru dried his hair, fixing it in the mirror before walking back towards the guest room with his clothes in hand. He walked in to find Roy, " Um..where i..is the ...w..washer and..d..dryer ? " he asked flipping his hair and revealing the scar on his right eye he hid at all times for a brief moment.

Roy shook his head as he sat up and walked towards Michiru's small form before placing a hand on the smaller mans shoulder"Don't try and change the subject..."he stated firmly before giving Michiru a concerned look"...Where on earth did you get all these scars from?"Roy finally asked as he kept a gentle yet firm grip on his shoulder so he couldn't run off and dodge the question"I'm not going to judge you I promise, I just want to see if I can help is all..."Roy explained with a small smile on his face, hoping that this would somehow put the boy at ease.
After Patrick finishes the dishes he steps out of the kitchen then headed off to his bedroom to put on his clothes and return his robe back to his bathroom. He put on something warm, but not something thick or black because he will be in the sun at the beach. Straightens out his hair and uses a small comb on his beard after putting away the robe. Heads over to informal living room where Hiro was currently at. He decided to play with his kitten through the feline toys. He chuckles a little at how adorable Hiro looks swiping at the cattail toy he was holding above the kitten. ╚══════════════╝

Chiru wasn't expecting the response he got. He had only asked where the washer was but Roy got very close to him, a little to close for comfort and placed his hand on his shoulder firmly, in Chiru's mind making sure he couldn't get away...which wasn't true...he could if he wanted. But then Roy asked about the scars. With that, Chiru looked down slowly, he didn't want to talk about it. He crossed his arms, pulling his robe more closed at the same time, and he bit his lip. His grip tighten on his arm, making major indents. it was a very uncomfortable and it got there very quickly. " I...it's complicated..." he managed to say. If was asked more he would try to answer. " ..I..if you want...y..you can see them..b..but t..try not to freak out if you do... b...but at the s..s.ame time i'll understand..i..i..if you d..do .. " he said very shakily, gripping his arms very tight and biting his lip at the same intensity.

Roy listened to Michiru speak and his look of concern only grew more as the younger man spoke. Roy promptly lifted his free hand and moved the hair covering Michiru's eye and shook his head at the scar"Please, tell me...who would do this too you?"he asked again, trying to think about who'd do this to the young man. Then a thought occurred to Roy as he remembered the attack that happened the other day and what the man said"...Was it this..'She' that your attacker spoke of?"Roy asked, trying his hardest to get Michiru to open up.
Patrick woke up feeling hot and head wet from sweat. "One of those twisted flashback like dreams again" he thought as he sat up in his bed. He moves one hand to smooth his hair back as his eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room. "Must be still early in the morning" he thought looking over to the window. He moves to get out of his bed and almost stepped on Hiro's tail if he hadn't looked down first. ╚══════════════╝
