Denbe saw something he had...
...very honestly, just not expected to see. In a number of ways, really. Running full speed towards Kojiro and his band of hangers-on immediately, the Hare reached for his katana, moving faster than he was thinking in hopes of finding something to do with the situation.

Miyako sighed, and started running towards her former beau. How many of the Kami damned things were there anyways? Even while running though, she drew her first knife and prepared to throw as soon as she moved far enough in, although it would not be just yet.

Kojiro made a point of keeping his mouth shut as he drew his shoto. He would try to fight his way free of this horde. It made sense to Kojiro to thin it before trying anything. With one sharp jab, Kojiro took aim at the one eyed one in an attempt to bring him down. For some reason, the Scorpion felt that this bakemono was already dead and that the Bayushi had no desire to see life through his eye.

Denbe would rush to the shrine standing at the entrance that was just slightly shorter than he was. Miyako was not far behind, tanto drawn, and Denbe standing in the way of any shot she could make. Denbe, this really isn't prime kenjutsuing area, with the rock shrine making a regular swing difficult.
Kojiro draws his wakizashi and tries to stab the nearest goblin, if there is such a thing. He manages to clip the eye-patch-wearing goblins across the chest, causing it to squeal out in pain from the chest injury it received. The blow knocked it off, its eyepatch coming lose. It would reach up and move it to the other eye before pressing its attack.
The goblins attempt to beat upon Kojiro with unleashed miniature fury! Sticks and stones can't even break his bones as they clink against his armor. A stick whacks Kojiro in the leg, giving him a small bruise at best, while the one wielding the broken-off fist of the statue of Osano-Wo fails completely to give Kojiro a knuckle sammich.
Kojiro, you might as well roll tides of battle. Masuyo, you're up!

The little Dragon only needed to run close enough to see what all the commotion was (25' away) before catching the urgency of it all. Stifling a gasp, she reached into her spell pouch and pulled out a scroll.

Masuyo would close with the goblin-ridden Kojiro, stopping her pace only to select the scroll she desired from her satchel, and wasting not a moment more.
The lagging goblin with two lazy eyes would attempt to beat Kojiro over the head with the wooden stick that used to be a bokken, but would accomplish little more than inducing a headache in our Scorpion. The attack rolls are getting higher, though!
Miyako, Kojiro, Denbe, have at 'em! Everyone using weapons Kojiro's way, you must raise once to avoid hitting Kojiro on the off chance you miss! Denbe, you must raise an additional time when trying to use your katana, due to the cramped conditions inside the shrine's entrance, no matter what!

Kojiro slashed next at the Angry looking goblin, a rage of his own entering his blood as he saw that the creature had desecrated Osan-wo's shrine further by attempting to use a piece of the statue against him. Something told the Scorpion that this one might be able to put his eye out due to some unlucky fluke or something.

Denbe realized how bad an idea his sword was once he was inside of the shrine, trying to fight the goblins. If any of them came from without besides these, he'd want to have his sword at the ready. But for these critters...
Taking aim at one of the one's mobbing Kojiro unsuccessfully so far, the Hare stepped in and rotated on his foot, sweeping his shin against the large eared bakemono and hoping he could rattle it good between the impact of his leg, and a second one against the wall of the shrine.

And of course, the Hare was going to be in the way, nothing was easy was it? She continued running after all, and still wouldn't be able to do anything just yet. Where in the kingdom was the Kami forsaken Crab anyways?
