With the village finaly behind them Sanoskue let out a sigh of relief then looked back at Kanti, tail wagging. "Looks like we're in the clear, come on, I wanna make it back before the moon rises." He said, looking briefly up at the barely visable sun.

Kanti sighed in relief, glad to have the village behind them. “Yeah, it’s going to get cold, fast. Let’s go.” Kanti began to run, making sure she didn’t outdistance Sanoskue.

Sanoskue ran after her, eager to curl up with her in the den.

Luckily, they reached the den quickly, with no further disasters. Kanti sighed in relief as she crawled into the den.

Sanoskue crawled in after her and curled up next to her happy to be alone with her again.

Kanti eagerly snuggled against Sanoskue’s side and licked his muzzle gently. “I’m glad we’re home safe, together,” she said softly.

"Me too." Sanoskue said licking her back and resting his head ontop of hers.

Sighing happily, Kanti pressed close against Sanoskue. She licked his muzzle again and laid her head on his paws.

Kanti whined happily and her tail wagged furiously. “I’ll never leave you,” she promised.

Kanti smiled gently. “Go to sleep love, I’ll be here in the morning,” she said softly, licking Sanoskue’s muzzle back.

Sanoskue rested his head on her side and closed his eyes, "And I'll be here, we had a long day and should get some rest."
