I'd love anyone's opinions on laptops. I know I'll be getting one by the end of this year. This one is about to explode. I've had it for 7 years.

 I use a Toshiba for school. It's a tablet PC with Windows XP. It's not bad and it's pretty reliable and everything, but I prefer Hewlett Packard myself. I find that I experience less hassle and lag with an HP, but that's just from my experience. We've always had HP computers at my house, and I find that, in the end, our HP computers keep their quality longer than my Toshiba does.
(And as a side note, I definitely take care of my computer. I am gentle with it, do not visit any shady sites, and, overall, I treat all of my computers very nicely.) (;

 That's a pretty hard decision!
Are you looking for any features in particular? Perhaps a specific operating system, or cool features (I.E. a tablet)?

Eh, not really. I mostly use it to hold music and photos, and keeping in touch with people via the interwebz 3nodding I am interested in starting to use a tablet though. AND Windows 7!
